I stayed at tha Century Plaza one night before flying out the next day. The $20 voucher for the restaurant was a good inducement to go there. But even without that the main course of about $28 was very reasonable and the meal was excellent. As a fairly frequent visitor to Vancouver I will return there in the future.

Convenient location at the lobby of the Century Plaza Hotel. Staff don't seem to be able to handle an influx of customers though preferring instead to work at their own pace. Odd for a hotel that caters to large groups!

This might be the best breakfast brunch buffet in Vancouver! We hosted a post-wedding brunch for 80 people and everyone raved about the food. The brunch buffet has everything you're looking for and more and does not skimp on the high-end seafood items like prawns, smoked salmon and tuna tataki! You can't beat the value at $25 per person! Awesome!

The best light meals in the area, part of the Century Plaza Vancouver Hotel. Accessible from the Burrard Street entrance as well as from within the hotel. Small seating area that is sometimes busy at peak hours as it is directly adjacent to Saint Paul's Hospital and shares that city block with Saint Andrews Wesley United Church. A little bit pricey but it's well worth it. Great sandwiches European-style pastries and dessert and fresh in-house made sorbets and gelatos. European coffee. All foods available for take-out. Efficient and friendly.

Very good espresso here. Croissants are decent. Gelato has changed over the years and is not as good as it once was.

Great matcha lattes!!!! I really appreciate the price point especially in the downtown area. $1.75 for tea whereas some places charge a lot more. Thank you for keeping food prices fair in an expensive city. <3

I bought a illy coffee pods for 15$. Asked the worker before i bought it to see if its compatible for nespresso machine. The asian guy working there said yes. When i came back home and checked the pods were not conpatible for nespresso machine........ i went back to the shop to get it exchanged for the 10 pods one because that one works for nespresso machine... the worker yuko? Said she wont be able to do anything because the other guy sold it to me ...... i asked if she can check with the manager, she said she cant.... i dont know why... and told me to come back tommorow... i dont even want a refund i just need it exchanged for the false information i received.... workers with bad solution ideas.......

Nice location, not busy, personally like it’s coffee more than Starbucks. So I’ve liked this place but one day I visited To do my work and needed WiFi but wasn’t available and one staff didn’t know it. I tried to connect for 10-15 min and asked other staff and she said it’s been unavailable for 2 weeks and ask me to use hotel’s WiFi which was super super slow or not available either, and I gave up on using the internet. I wouldn’t come if I knew I couldn’t use the internet. Such a waste of time.

I have stopped by at Beyond Coffee a few times, and have always observed that it’s a pretty quiet spot. It’s also quite spacious, so it would be great for a quick meeting or private conversation in a public place. The coffee is decent, food is pre-made and nothing special, and the service is usually decent. Wouldn’t recommend for the food/coffee, but definitely for the location.

There lunch meal was 14 bucks for Veggie chow mein...no side salad..nada.. outrageous price for this. I would stick to just the illy coffee. The staff here always seem indifferent to me and constantly rotating.

Do not get their Farmer’s Wrap. It was the worst thing I have ever eaten. One big fat and grease bomb. Big hunks of unmelted cheese dropped out. It was a mess in a box, without a fork or knife.

Beyond coffee is a little hard to find, so most everyone here is from St. Paul's hospital or the hotel it is attached to. The cafe is a great place for a meeting or to get work done, they have fresh food and their coffee is cheap, considering they use illy brand espresso beans. They have a washroom, you just have to ask for the key. Only two power outlets in the place, so choose your seat wisely

Some of the reviews confuse the restaurant in the hotel (now called c prime) with the Beyond coffee shop. There is no buffet or fancy meals here. It does tend to be good but a little expensive. Their coffee is very good, as are their salads and sandwiches (their salmon sandwich is really good). I also enjoy their breakfast cookies and almond croissants. I haven't had many of their desserts, but they look great! Service is usually pretty good.

My go to place for coffee. They use Illy blend, great price for a downtown coffee shop. No one that I recommended to try this place has ever regretted coming here.

I just bought a salmon sandwich from here. I ate couple bites. And the bread was very stale and dried out. I phoned them to complain and hope to get a refund or credit. And there response was it was made fresh this morning. I told them I know what sour dough bread tastes like. And it isn't stale and dried up. Was so gross. Also. Over paid. Almost 10$ for a snadwhich that I wont be eating. Never again will I eat here again. NEVER!! ????????

I was expecting better. I wanted a grilled cheese because it was advertised and on the menu, but found out everything is pre-prepared. So if you don't see it, you won't have it. I had a burrito, and it was served completely open and contained way too much cheese and cream.
