Dr Dewitt is a straight shooter, gets right to the point, doesn’t sugarcoat things, and I never wait more than 15 mins for him. Sometimes it’s a week or more when you make an appointment to get in to see him...he’s busy, but 90% of the time, I’m really happy with his care and the nice way Heidi deals with me too. Not a fan of the $3.50 to park more than 15 mins, so they loose a star for that.

Worst receptionists possibly in all of Ontario for any health care center or clinic. Upon calling for critical health issues the receptionists will give you lip about their protocol which you have no under standing of and make you jump through hoops to get a simple blood work requisition for a specialist.

Dr.Barker has been both efficient and caring. Cheryl her receptionist I very pleasant, and I have never waited more than 15 min. To pay for parking is disgraceful especially for young families, but that is not the doing of the doctors,but the owners in Toronto

Usually a good place to go... until they came up with charging you $10 for them to renew your prescription (send a fax downstairs to the pharmacy) without an appointment. Super inconvenient to have to be "squeezed in" for a quick 2 minute appointment to get a renewal.

Love Welland McMaster Family Health Team. Most everything I need in one place. However as an after hrs clinic it should say on web that it's for patients only with earlier booked appointments.

The receptionist named Julie for Dr. Alex Carl is incredibly rude every time I call.I called to get a prescription for my son she said I’ll Look into it and call me back . And never called me back then they sent it to the wrong pharmacy so I called back to ask her to send it to the right pharmacy . At which point she told me oh you should’ve told us even though she never called us back to ask. At which point I asked for her to send it to the pharmacy she simply said we’ll see what we can do. I asked what does that mean is that a yes or a no she said that means yes and then hung up on me as I was trying to continue to speak to her. So I called back to try to make a complaint and I got the same receptionist Julie at which point she was exceptionally rude wouldn’t even respond to any of my questions I sat on dead air for two minutes worst experience I’ve ever had.And almost all my experiences with the receptionists have been like that. Good thing we like dr Carl so much he’s always so friendly and takes his time with us.

Absolutely the worst receptionists I’ve ever encountered! Trying to get an appointment is like pulling teeth! They are unbelievably rude and unhelpful. Appointments are far and few between and when there is something you need to get checked for and they don’t have an appointment available they will mention that Drs there do not like patients going to a walk-in clinic! What would you like me to do? Wait till a rash spreads everywhere? Stay sick until I die? Never get a physical? never mind trying to get in to discuss medications for mental health!

After a year search in Welland.... Thank God I have Dr. Francois Mostert, with a sense of humor which goes a long way here in Welland, since most persons living here are very, very negative and vulgar!!Being an outgoing woman and friendly, it was nice to see a friendly face among the downcast faces in this town.Hope I do not lose this Special person who works in the medical field as a GP in Welland

It's GREAT that so many services are offered under one roof, but my biggest pet peeve is having to pay for parking. Over 15 minutes you have to pay, unless you're getting a prescription filled at the pharmacy there.

Clean several docter selections in building but biggest downfall--PAID PARKING--ONLY 15MINS FREE have to get prescr.at pharmacy there.

Paid Parking was increased recently from $3.50 to $4.00. You use to get 15 min free. They now lowered it to 10 mins. Not happy that the company who runs the parking did this especially during a pandemic.

every time I call my doctors office (fonthill medical). Takes a good 6- 10 times of calling before you get through, then even when you do get through you are then put on hold before dealing with the very rude receptionists. Sorry but a doctors office should be answering their calls, or at least have the ability to put someone on hold and not have to keep calling back that many times. There’s been many times I call after their lunch break and I still won’t get an answer. Unfortunately it’s so hard to find family doctors accepting new patients.
