Best vet in town. I was shocked by the cost...in a good way...After doing my research I was expecting the dental care and extractions to be $1000 more than I paid. I wish Dr. Russell was my doctor, he communicates SO well. We are so glad we have a 5* vet to take our pets to.

Amazing. Very informative and patient. The only complaint I have is not making the cost of certain things clear before doing them. I am aware pets arent cheap and WILL cost money but being clear on what the cost is for whatever you are checking/treating for ahead of time is important. Especially in this day. Everyone seems to be struggling to survive and on strict budgets. But other than that one thing....I was shocked at the quality of care and compassion as well as thoroughness .Definitely worth every penny.

One of the best Veterinary clinics you can take your animal. They don’t try to charge for every little thing. They are courteous and compassionate and you don’t feel rushed. I have a very old, nervous chocolate lab that got bit by another dog, and they made it affordable and efficient for me to come in and get him taken care of. I highly recommend this place!

The staff of Grace Veterinary Hospital were amazing. They handled the diagnosis, and subsequent loss of our beloved pet with grace and compassion. When we received our pet's ashes back, they even gave us a beautiful condolences card. Highly recommend this vet. They are very thorough, and actually listen when you tell them something is wrong with your pet. They will get to the bottom of the problem. They gave us a precious last 11 days with our pet. We can't thank them enough for that.

My wife's cats have had a terrible flea infestation. We have tried various things but in the end had little success. They advised a 3 month flea drop and a spray to treat our home. Within 24 hours of following thier advice no more fleas! Although not cheap they were less expensive than the vet clinic that was more local to us. This is not our first experience with this clinic and they have always been amazing.

I have to say this vet has been my go to vet for a very long time. The entire staff treat you animals just as if they were there own because when you are going for a while they really do become part of the family. The staff go above and beyond so much more the expected I’m just blown away. Even down to the last few days of my dogs life they were there whenever I needed. Even if it was just tot talk about how’s she doing. I love them all so much I can’t express how much this place is loved. I always speak highly of them whenever I can! Just had a visit for a teeth exam for my dog after being told to shop around on price estimates (as I was quoted quite high at my original vet) . Not only did Dr. Ross take the time to listen about my dogs other health issues, and make suggestions, when I went to pay I was shocked to not be charged an arm and a leg for the check in and antibiotics he prescribed. I instantly switched over. I am so glad I found a vet that is honest, caring and not just trying to rob people of their money. I will be spreading the good word about this Vet and so happy after 5 years of living in Victoria have found one I can actually trust has my dogs best interest.

Dr Russell is very easy to talk to and knowledgeable. Front desk staff are very nice to deal with, I would definitely recommend this place. Your animals are given the best treatment, they don't gouge you on price, there is ample parking and they have a great location easy to find. Also they stock lots of the dental dog food and dental treats etc. There are other veterinarians closer to where we live but I really like Grace animal hospital and Dr. Russell. Highly recommend!

I am from out of town and brought my puppy in as her right eye appeared to be irritated. We were looking for something to prevent the eye from getting any worse until we could get back home to our regular vet and have the entropion surgery. The right eye had an ulcer developing but it was in the early stages. Stapling her lower eye lid was suggested to prevent any further damage. He did a great job stapling her right eye lid but to our surprise he also stapled her left eye lid open. We had not discussed stapling her left as there was no issue with her left eye. He stapled her left eye lid much more drastically, about a 1/3" from its regular position. Over the short period of time it took between the stapling and the surgery, the staples had ripped through my puppies skin and the left side was basically back to where it was pre-stapling. This scaring made the entropion surgery more difficult as scar tissue had replaced the skin where the sutures would attach. My vet at home tried to rationalize why he stapled her left eye lid but they were unsuccessful in finding anything - left eye was negative for ulcer and stapling was totally unnecessary. I cannot imagine what it feels like to have five staples slowly rip through your skin. I really hope that in the future, you are 100% sure that a procedure like this is necessary.

I took in a client’s dog that wanted to eat both me and the vet. As a trainer, I had felt that some of his aggression was triggered by pain, and this was confirmed. The vets and staff did not judge me for this terribly behaved dog. And despite his aggression and lunging, he got a thorough exam, as well as other excellent health tips for both his comfort, and to ease training. And after this dramatic appointment, we left with pain medication to see if he would improve, and the bill was so reasonable in price. We were not charged danger pay! My client went in for his next appointment where he was a much better behaved lad. She too was treated kindly and with no judgement. Thankyou Grace and staff, for your compassion, knowledge and help. I’ve since recommended you to many clients who have had the same experience.

Dr. Russell and the team at Grace Veterinary Hosptial are absolutely fantastic! My little dachsie had severe periodontal disease and had all his teeth removed. It's been three days since the operation and he is already well on his way to healing up. Happy tail wags, walks and eating (soft food only ATM). Everyone was very kind, compassionate and professional. They called with timely reminders and a post-op check in. We will be recommedning this wonderful animal clinic to others for sure. Our family is grateful that our Henry will be with us for a lot longer now that he is patched up. Thank you!

Very frequently go here due to my lemon dog who always has some sort of health issue. Everyone is so friendly and sweet. My dog also gives them 5 stars as she leaps out of the car in excitement every time we go.
