Reviews of Days Inn by Wyndham Thunder Bay North (Hospital)

On the morning of Dec 18th at approximately 2am I was assaulted by another resident who I believe was intoxicated. They had claimed I stole something of theirs. After this situation these two residents were allowed to stay in the hotel "as long as they stayed quiet". This situation was handled poorly by the man at front desk. I was provided a free room upgrade so these individuals didn't know where I was staying, but I still don't feel safe with them being allowed to stay on property. I am hoping to speak with the manager tomorrow and explain why the handling of this situation was extremely inappropriate. If I wasn't reliant on the hotel being close to the hospital I would have left for another hotel.

We arranged a hotel block at the Days Inn North in mid-June 2018 for participants in a national conference and our expert speakers. All of our guests expressed satisfaction with their accommodations, stating that their rooms were very clean, quiet and in good condition. Front staff were very helpful and friendly throughout the full process of arranging a conference block & caring for our guests. I highly recommend this hotel - it is very close to the regional hospital (the TBRHSC) and university (LakeheadU) and in good condition.

Recently had to stay for medical reasons ( Waiting to give birth). Stayed for 9 days and had to go past due date. Tried to extend my stay 3 days before check out.Woman at the front desk would not wait for me to make arrangements before renting room out. Was told I would have to check out with our other 2 young children and find somewhere else but she said good luck because all hotels in city were full. Terrible customer service at this hotel!

Great friendly staff. Enjoyed our stay!

I stayed for one night. The room was spacious and cleanThe bed was comfortable. There was a good selection at. breakfast . The staff were friendly and professional. I would definitely stay here again.

I was checking in i did not have a reservation but the girl at the front desk said they had a room 2 ladies came in after me and the reception told me to go sit down so she could wait on them first i asked why and she they had a reservation i asked her how she new that as she did not speak to them so i left and will never return

Room was clean Bed and bedding were clean and comfortable with lots of pillows! Room was stocked with all necessities.Staff was courteous. Banana muffins for breakfast were actually really good! Some of the chain hotels can get kind of questionable but these guys were doing a really good job. Well done Days Inn on Golf Links Road!
