Bay Village Coffee serves good coffee and sandwiches. We enjoyed our coffee! The sandwich was not the regular tasting. It had fresh veggies and had the fresh taste to it. We had ordered a Vegan sandwich which consisted of tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, lettuce, onions, and a spread. I believe it was hummus spread. The sandwich was a little sweet tasting! Friendly staff

Ordered a London Fog and a muffin. Muffin was not dry and it was full of flavour. London Fog was spot on... Not too sweet, not too much vanilla. Wife ordered iced coffee and was super impressed with the selection of creamer products available. Definitely worth the visit!

Bay Village Coffee house brew tastes tremendous and will now become part of my weekly coffee rotation. They have a nice snack selection offering cookies, scones, brownies, doughnuts and muffins. Gluten free options are available as well. Get your order at the Bay Village walk up window, or park by the front door and a friendly masked face will take your order right at your vehicle. There is wheelchair accessible parking, as well as the entrance once indoor dining is eventually available. I do miss the atmosphere sitting inside. The price was a bit higher than I’m used to when ordering a sandwich and a cookie, and then I took a bite and realized where my money went. If there was anything that I would change, it would be one more layer of meat in the sandwich. They will also turn their sandwiches into a wrap if that’s what blows your hair back. FYI. If I were married, I would leave my wife for a Sweet Marie Bar. They are that good.

The coffee was fine, that's why the two stars. However, way overpriced. I ordered a $12 sandwitch, which I thought would have been substantial, but it was literally deli meat between two pieces of bread. Yes it had lettuce, etc... But I could have spent my $12 at the grocery store and got 6 sandwiches for the same price. No need to go back, other coffee houses nearby just as good.

This is my second visit to this restaurant and i am even more disappointed then my first visit. Prices are pretty high which i do not mind paying but the value for the dollar is absolutely not there. I ordered the El Camino - Black forest sandwich and I am extremely disappointed for the $14 spent. Where is the meat, cheese etc.. ? This is basically a salad sandwich with flavor of meat in two 7 grains packaged bread. I love supporting local businesses but this sandwich is not worth my time and money. FYI - the egg salad sandwich its very runny so that's a big NO for me as well. Coffee is ok. Location and restaurant appearance are ok

This place is what happiness feels like. The owners are so incredible and constantly smiling. I love the sandwiches and I can’t get enough of the desserts. I was waiting for my sandwich for barely a minute when they let me know they had to run out for ingredients and apologized profusely and provided me and my husband with soup for the wait (we didn’t mind waiting at all). Barely 7 minutes pass and they had made my sandwich and brought it out to me! I wouldn’t even consider that a wait and yet they still offered us those soups. Every customer who walks in is greeted with big smiles and friendly service.

The owners seemed enthusiastic and passionate and it really shows with the quality of the beverages and sandwiches. Ordered a vegan sandwich assuming it would be a normal non-meat option and I was pleasantly surprised. So tasty and, in fact, I went back to the cafe later in the day. It's also a neat location - really makes the bottom end of Bay Street a more endearing area to visit.

Absolutely LOVE this coffee shop! My teenage daughters and I agree that this is some of the best coffee we've had anywhere, including NYC, LA, Toronto and Vancouver. The owners are incredibly friendly, remembered my family and even gave a gourmet iced bone marrow treat for our dog! A 'must' for anyone in Thunder Bay :)

There's something to be said for having anywhere to go for a hot beverage that isn't Starbucks or Timmie's. Bay Village Coffee delivers a cozy setting with great windows (sadly not a great view) and a solid commitment to good coffee and tea. For the connoisseur, my cappuccino didn't have a blended foam or gloss, but I would prefer to enjoy a few more before saying this is the usual.

Cant believe I forgot to leave a review when I visited thunder bay.. as a LGBQT individual I almost cried when I saw the diversity in this specific shop. I truly had an amazing experience from the second I walked in the front door. Very friendly staff. Amazing coffee and lattes. Also great merch!! Ig:eriklich as a traveler from Toronto I wasnt expecting much but I promise if this shop was in Toronto I'd travel any distance to go here everyday!! Will be back in a few days and cannot wait to go here again!! Definitely recommend and suggest you make this a stop on your tourism thunder bay list!! Good coffee. Don't enjoy the close quarters when it's packed and engaged in private conversation with a friend or business associate. No privacy in this situation as tables are shared with strangers and all seating is crammed. I just have to try and forget about it and almost whisper. I'm sure other customers feel the same way and this is now a consideration when arranging coffee dates. I will suggest another coffeehouse if I don't feel like dealing with that aspect of the social experience. Otherwise, it is an attractive and well-decorated location with ample customer parking and a flavourful brew.

2 stars because the staff was nice but $6 iced latte tasted like nuts. $12 sandwich was impossible to hold! Completely fell apart, the bread was cut and breaking a lot but the contents of the sandwich were not cut? A little strange but I've never had to eat a sandwich with a knife and fork. It just kept getting worse as I tried to eat it. Overpriced for low quality, won't be back.

Where to begin .... one of my best mates got fired from there for over exhaustion and other reasons that was nothing to do with them. Now for how ridiculous the prices are nuts ! Not worth it. There is a way better coffee blend that is not this shop. If you want better customer service, it is not here. Go to Calicos or any other nicer and welcoming place. Thank you all for knowing the truth .

The people working there are very friendly and welcoming. Cozy atmosphere with couches and books. Small food menu so great for lunch or take out. The veggie burgers are good which is served as a seedy type of patty on a whole wheat bun.
