I am waiting for 5 hours with no hope to talk to a doctor here. Unfriendly staff, dirty place! Unless you arrive here almost dying, do not go.

Zero stars to this place , please never go if you have an emergency. Been waiting for 6 hours and counting ( with my friend who's having severe stomach pain ). Worst place to be in. Do they even understand the meaning of emergency ? I don't think so.

Be prepared to wait at minimum 7 hours, but probably longer, unless you're actively dying. And even if that's the case, don't count on being seen quickly. The cleanliness is awful too. Took 8 hours of being here for the bathrooms to be cleaned, and the chairs were never wiped down or disinfected in the whole 9 hours we were in the waiting room. The staff is working hard, but there just aren't enough of them. Wish there were more walk-in clinics and family doctors in the city to free up space for actual emergencies.

It's the most disgusting place to go for... If you feel like you will die please die at home ....even if you have 1 hour of your life you stay home die there ....if you visit health science er you will die in 5 minutes.....

Everything is a hassle, every step of the way. Making appointments, waiting for said appointment in the waiting room, waiting for referrals, and of course, scheduling. I just called about rescheduling an appointment and the earliest date they're able to give me, if I wanted to change it, is in November. It's currently July. NL health care is part of the reason I'm leaving this place.

I don't know how this can be called an emergency service, I've been literally standing for more than 20 minutes and no one has yet arrived. Disappointing on levels I can't even express, especially when you need care the most.
