This is the most disgusting ER. We have been waiting for hours and staff keep walking around slowly, passively, completely withdrawn. You ask when you are going to see a doctor and get no answer. This is supposed to be an EMERGENCY! Heartless idiots.

If you need medical help and seek emergency treatment, don’t come to this place, you will die waiting. The doctor was nice though.

Very rude triage nurse. All patients were distressed as no one had a clue whose turn was next . She would not answer any apart from' sit in the red chair" like a robot. Patients were jumping ahead of their turn and overall chaos because of one person. Should not be in people interaction job, more so a hospital.

Went to the MRI department. All 3 encounter with receptionists were quick and positive. Very friendly. The MRI technician was great. Made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I was dreading the experience but overall it was fine. Customer service matters! Well done.

I visited the ER about two weeks ago, with what turned out to be a sprained wrist, with a hairline fracture. My wrist was badly 'gouged', it looked horrific, thought I'd need stitches, but nope. I just want to give huge thanks to the nurse that cleaned and dressed my wound on my wrist, she did a phenomenal job! In fact, as of a week later, the wound on my wrist was completely healed, no sign of it. I went back to the SHN for a follow-up today, and aside from the hairline fracture and a bit of swelling, I'm completely healed. amazing. So I owe everything to the phenomenal job of dressing the wound that the nurse did. wow!

Came in at 5:30pm and had to wait an hour to be registered. After being registered it wasn't until 8pm we were seen. At 8:30pm we were told we need to run tests and blood work. 10:30pm still waiting to move to the testing. Ridiculous how long you have to wait. On top of it there was a poor old man who went to use the washroom and urinated on himself as he was injured and it took the staff 20 minutes for anyone to come help him even though a patient had informed them right away. I will never understand why Canada is so inefficient and slow with everything they do and why they are so behind so many other countries. Work smarter!

The Worst thing i have experianced in my life i am having a pinch nurve and i went there thinking they will treat me immidiately but i waited 7 hours crying and waiting end up coming home untreated bcz i hav 3 month baby,staff wont treat you seriously,better go to any walkin clinic,i ended up watching youtube video and treat my self by my own.

Shouldn't call it emergency, Noone would do anything here, 8 hours wait time is the minimum! No nurse,no doctor would come see you! Brought my Dad for chest pain, 4 hours we're still waiting outside no signs of nurse or doctor, it's not even busy here!

Its the worst Emergency services I have ever seen. Its pathetic to even tell it an emergency services. Long wait time to see a nurse & long time for registration. Then finally looong wait to see doctor. If you come expect to waste at least 3-4 hours in a visit. Isn’t it amazing??

I came to emergency due to chest and left hand pain . Now is 5 .22 am and still waiting for blood and x-rays ...don't know when staff call my name . Their service is worst

The staff at the department was clinically very well trained. They knew what they were doing. When I walked in on Sunday I was not even able to limp or walk. They took very good care of me and I was all ready to join office on Monday morning.

Thers is no covid protocol, people are sitting side by side. There is no queue, they just make you sit in the red chair. Therefore there is no way for them to know who to serve first. I guess they have enough faith in humanity for people to cordially order themselves.

After 6 hours They told me nothing everything good they don’t even check my stomach This my 2nd day still Tomuch pain..I can’t even eat anything wrong. I took all the record if is anything happen too me . If you’re emergency don’t go here better find some different location Thanks for you service don’t use people for your time pass

I went there late night on Sunday, the blonde lady at reception was very cooperative and not-rude, the doctor was srilankan probably was very friendly i found everyone there very helpful unlike most other places. The wait time was also less than 2 hours.

Wait so long time to see doctor. And the nurses here didn't do anything for you at least in emergency department！！ if you ask for any questions, they would say "I don't tell you until you see the doctor"???!? Excuse me? What dose that mean? Are they internship (don't know anything about this hospital and basic medical knowledge)？？？ The words they always say to you are "it's up to u""we don't know" Don't wasting time here!! Helpless emergency

I wish not to give any star for ER of SGH. Very disrespectful triage nurse. Non courteous. When I asked her name to complain she refused and tried to give me a threat by calling security. It was really hard to believe that she was doing a paid job. This kind of insensible staff makes hospital a hell. Because of one tire health care system rude staffs are getting advantage and patient's are worst sufferers.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. What a terrible negligent hospital. My mom is an elder and didn't have a working cell phone at the time. We took her here when she had covid and was unable to breathe. We couldn't go in so we told staff to call us specifically because she not only doesn't speak English well and was unable to speak or breathe properly, but she doesn't have a proper phone either. The doctor barely even looked at her, told her that her oxygen wasn't low enough and to go home and rest there. She asked them to call us to pick her up and the doctors response was "don't you have a cell phone?". And he left her to fend for herself. She managed to call us through whatsapp and we picked her up and took her to another hospital that second. At the other hospital they give her iv fluids and medicine for her stomach and let one of us stay with her. If we hadn't gone to the other hospital, I can say she would not have survived. I am beyond angry that this hospital is even still going despite their negligent doctors who don't want to even see patients let alone assist them with getting into contact with ther families.
