I’ve had a case of Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SSHL) and was referred to this medical centre by my ENT in addition to my treatments. By the end of my treatment my hearing had significantly improved, and during my stay the entire staff were all very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The staff had amazing teamwork amongst themselves, even with the COVID pandemic, they made sure to keep everything clean and sterile. The quality of staff is top notch and I only had good experiences with them all. In terms of treatment, there was always a Operating/Tech Nurse nearby who kept an eye on the chambers and would help if I needed anything, especially during the beginning and days after orientation. They also have a large collection of movies and cable tv you can watch during your treatment, and each session was typically 2hrs long or about 1 movie. The nurses and staff are well trained and experienced in their field and can answer your questions or concerns. The Doctor himself was very understanding and understood the situation from the get-go and was able to explained it to my Mother who wasn’t quite sure what happened to my ear. In the end, I had nothing but a pleasant time during my sessions and would come again if needed. This medical centre is located within a hospital (Scarborough Health Network, General Hospital) so if anything, you are not far from medical help. Come for the treatment, Stay for the great company and service. 5/5, Hopefully you will have a good experience here too.
