The doctors are good, the nurses are good but the receptions are so rude and impatient, they always mad while talking to me, I don't understand why they don't change some nice stuff.

While I definitely do not recommend this place for walk ins, if you're looking for a family doctor, Dr Gabor has got to be one of the best available. Caring, doesn't make you feel rushed, and knows her stuff. Can't vouch for any of the other doctors or the rest of the staff though.

I have been going to this doctor's office over 15 years; unfortunately, I will never go back. The receiptionist is possibly the rudest person I have ever encountered over the phone. Hostile, impatient, not helpful. I tried calling to inquire my medical records, and word-for-word she said "I don't have time to discuss with you". Looking at the reviews, it seems like patients have been complaining about the receiptionist for years, yet, the office clearly hasn't done anything to improve customer service. This is such a shame because I actually like my doctor. Beware of this place.

Been waiting for two weeks for an appointment for a small operation. Called on Thursday morning. The Chinese receptionist is so rude to patients. Hung up on me twice. Wouldn't give out her name. Won't come back even if I am bleeding out.

I don't get why this office is still active, the worst possible set of doctors especially the one Winnie Tang, doesn't listen, doesn't let you speak about your problem, and as rude as a fat kid not getting food. and also a doctor's appointment should not only last 2 - 3 mins, it's should average at least 10 mins or more. they are a complete waste of your time and I would recommend everyone to NEVER visit this location for your own health, I never usually put reviews but when I do, you know there is something wrong.

Please do not choose this clinic. This was horrible experience. We book appointment at 5:30, waited until 7:15 and there were 2 other people ahead of us. The receptionist doesn’t have the manner. She disrespectfully told us “if you don’t want to wait, you can go now”.

Don’t waste your time. The receptionists are so rude and also the nurses there. I went to do the blood test and the nurse cannot find my blood vessels. And then she blamed on me! They are not professional. Never go there again.

The receptionist who speaks Cantonese has a really bad attitude and very rude and impatient. Feeling like you will need to beg for the services. Replacing someone who willing to work and care is the only solution to bring back the position review of your clinic.

Dr. was late for an hour for the appointment. Suppose to fax the referral to specialist but never did until I follow up after 3 weeks on my blood test result. Phone call appointment was 2 hours late. No time management at all. I have been so patient with them. Should improve if someone who can care about other. Receptionist picking up calls is not rude as other reviews mentioned. I understand the staff may be overloaded with works, but patients need to be care. They need to hire a PR.

I've been going to my family doctor there for over ten years and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I don't understand why the negative reviews because all of the staff are friendly, helpful, and patient. My kids and I receive excellent care from this clinic, so even after we moved out of Scarborough to Durham, we continue to go there.

Dr. Bakshi is a wonderful doctor, but he has been out of the country a lot. At this time we need renewal of our prescription. We are over 80 years of age and can not go to the walk-in clinic and wait 1-2 hours to see a doctor. Our senior building is in lockdown. The pharmacy sent faxes twice to The Doctors Office. We were told they would be forwarded to our doctor by email. So far no reply. We are worried.

WORST PLACE EVERR!!! I would give this place 0 stars if i had that option. The place was empty, no patients at all and they still made me wait over 30 min for a walkin. Then Dr. Lao came in and I tell him my problem he literally took less than 3 min with me and I asked him that I had just 1 more thing to ask and he said well actually this is a walkn in I cannot address all your problems because it would not be fair to the other patients. (did I mention the place was EMPTY??) He didnt even bother to hear me out. He saw me for barely 5 min out of which more than half he spent on the computer. And to top it off on my way out he says next time If you have any issue I should go to a family physician because he cannot advise me on all my problems in a walkn in. I only went to him for 1 thing that took less than 3 min. He literally spent maybe 2 mins actually for my problem. Do not Go Here EVERRR!!! I had seen the reviews before I left but I was in soo much pain I didnt have any choice. Else I would NEVER have gone here.

very bad experience. My mom is 83 years old and she doesn't feel well. we went there in the early morning. The receptionist told us through the phone that we have to come back to see the walk in clinic doctor at 6:30pm , so we back home and wait until 6:30 to come back again. When I called them and asked permit to come in the clinic, receptionist talked me I don't have an appointment and wont allowed me in. I explained that we came in the morning and the receptionist ask us to come back today, the lady didn't listen and very rude. The receptionist extremely no patient and unhelpful. wont' recommend this place.

WORST DOCTOR EVER! WORST DOCTOR EVER! WORST DOCTOR EVER! I was Waiting for Attending Physician Statement (APS) to apply for insurance. I am actively contacting doctor's office to request APS, but every time they told me that he will work on the statement. It has been over 90 days, and the insurance company has not yet received APS. Now that insurance company closed my file, and I have to apply again with higher premium due to my age.

I have been going to this MCI clinic for over 25 years because my doctor is excellent. However, the front office staff are always rude and unprofessional on the phone and in-person. I wish the office staff would reflect the characteristics of my doctor who is professional, kind and caring.

All you need to do is double check, even the third check! Repeat what the nurse and doctor said. Doctors I've seen (or spoke with via phone through the pandemic) at this clinic have all been wonderful, hence the two stars. But the reception desk is absolutely DREADFUL. She doesn't listen. She cuts you off mid-sentence and doesn't let you talk. She puts you on hold and leaves you there. She's rude and unfriendly. Unfortunate that this is the first point of contact, because it's not very comforting, especially when you're sick, scared, and apprehensive. My clinic closed down and our files got moved here. It's super unfortunate because we never, ever had a problem at our old clinic.
