Crazy long waits even if you have an appointment. They basically are maximizing the amount of patients. Don't bother coming here on a Saturday..do yourself a favour and find a clinic that makes appointments out there for walk in's. This in my opinion is the way it should be donefor all of them.
The five stars I give are ONLY for the staff at this location. Dr. Thinakaran is wonderful, the team that supports her are all professional and friendly. For the Appletree Call Center I would give 0 stars as they have been rude and do not pay attention to what you as a patient say or where you live.
Completely disgusted with the quality of service. Went in today as I suspect I have step throat, they checked me in and I waited for 1:45 min. At this point they do covid screening and tell me the Dr. Won’t see me because of my sore throat. The suggest I go to emergency…. WOW shouldn’t they think of all the patients in the waiting room? You don’t want to covid screen prior to having me sit in a crowded room for an hour and 45 min? I guess they value the dr more than the patients…. They suggested I go to emerg…. And flood that system for a sore throat!?!?!? Unbelievable….. and extremely unprofessional
I understand walk in clinics come with a price (even when you book an appointment). However I noticed while sitting in the waiting area (an hour still after the booked time), whenever someone would check in with the front desk as to when they would be called, the response was always "oh...you will be seen next". Realized very quickly this is a tactic to placate the individual. But it is dishonest. I heard it said 3 times to patients that were due to see my doctor (whom I was also told I was next and had the appointment booked before). It's deceptive, and dishonest. Patients want to be told honestly. Don't give inaccurate vague reassurances. The care received by the doctors have been variable, and range from being kind and appropriate, to making bizarre conclusions (i.e., querying nerve pain, that was in fact an infection and required an ED visit). I think the model is interesting, but unless you are looking for run-at-the-mill care for refills, simple things that could be done virtually, save yourself the time.
The walk-in itself is not as bad as other reviews make it seem. Ofc you have to wait. Duh...it's a walk-in! The good: there are a few good Doctors here (males & females). They've been correct with diagnosis & treatments so far. The clinic itself is clean. The lab, Xrays, Ultrasound, pharmacy, etc etc is within the building. The bad: barely any parking outdoors, so you have to park underground where the elevator takes 5 minutes to arrive. They clearly are cheap on hiring staff... there is never an administrator at the front and that's bc the ''admin'' on shift is the same medical assistant that is dealing with other patients in the rooms (taking symptoms, BP, weight, etc.) They should REALLY REALLY hire 1 or 2 admins that are just admins. I feel like the clinic would highly benefit.

If I could give Zero Stars to this clinic I would ! The absolute WORST and most UNPROFESSIONAL medical institution in Toronto. The staff is incredibly unprofessional, never on time and the concept of booking an appointment is useless. They made me come on 2 separate occasions and wait well past 40 minutes of my appointment time, without even solving my SIMPLE concern ( a skin wart ). The doctor saw me for foot care for 5 minutes after making me wait 40 minutes PAST MY schedule appointment time on 2 SEPARATE OCCASIONS and did not even attend to me. When i spoke to the reception on my last appointment to get an explanation as to why it's taking so long, the male staff yelled at me and raised his voice at me and suggested i cancel my appointment since i'm unhappy. Like many others i booked an appointment time, since i am a working individual and a specific time works for me. 15, 20 minutes late is okay, but 40 + and getting yelled at on 2 separate days and messing up multiple appointments with no treatment? RIDICULOUS. listen to others DO NOT GO HERE. they do not care for their patients and are only looking to swipe your health card. Go ELSEWHERE. this clinic deserves an action lawsuit. !!!!! the reception staff explained to me that apparently appointments just guarantee you the doc can see you the day of your appt. but does not guarantee you the time you have booked. So according to them you can wait there all day and that's okay. "
So far my experience with this clinic is POSITIVE. I have been here for 2 times. The waiting time is not that long, the staffs are quite nice. As an international student, I feel that the price also is so much reasonable compared to my previous walk-in clinic. The doctor, Dr. Mayoori Thinakaran, is also so nice and patiently answering all of my questions. Overall, I feel everything is so great here ????
If I were able to give zero stars I would. Been here two times first time I was a walk in I waited for over 2 hours even though they told me I was the next to see the doctor. When I inquired how long my wait was going to be the receptionist was quite rude and said well people with appointments take priority. Now second time around I made an appointment at 6:10 I waited regardless. Doesn't matter if you make an appointment or not. This place needs to either tell people they are full or get more doctors before they let people check in.
I was there for over 2 hours before I was called in. I sat in that room for an hour before I asked the girl why it was taking soo long, she said she'd tell the doctor that I was next. I could hear her talking to the doctor but yet she, went to another room! She went into EVERY room EXCEPT mine more than ONCE! While I was sitting in that room being deliberately ignored, she cleared the waiting room. I finally decided to get my things and leave!!!!
Just wasted 2 hrs and 80km this morning for my dad’s appointment at 8:30am. We got there around 8:10am and before they called us up, I overheard the receptionist called upon two other patients and told them that whoever booked their appointments had screwed them over because the doctor is not in today, he only comes in every other Monday. I hoped this is not the case for us as well, but seconds after, my dad was called and the receptionist told us the same thing! No apologies of any sort, just offered to re-book us for next Monday. What really boggled my mind is that they can’t call us and tell us this over the phone?? They have to tell us in physical appearance after everybody wasted their time, beating morning traffic and finally got to the clinic but to be disappointed??
don't even bother with the walk in clinic..the female doctor there is horrific, she seems to be more concerned about arguing than actually caring about the patient...she jumps to conclusion and then I have to tell her why she's wrong....wouldn't want somebody like that to look after my health...she looks and acts like someone fresh out of medical school...let's just say I won't be going back..

Excellent doctor's that truly understand what patient center care means yes there is a wait but its worth it for your health they dont make anyone feel like there on assembly-lines they take the time to truly hear your problems and concern and work to find a solution if you're looking for a quick in and out doctor's visit all the time definitely this is not the location but if you want doctors and stuff that truly take the time to look after their patients this is the place for you I am grateful for the medical staff at this location!!!
Just had a consultation at this establishment with a doctor called something something Thinakatan. After waiting for 20 minutes inside the doctors office, she came in for about 1 minute, did not get closer than 2 meters from me and sent me home with a prescription for antibiotics that I could "maybe" take in a few days if I didn't get any better. Although the staff was welcoming, this is not a serious establishment and most definitely doesn't provide serious health services. Do not come here even for smaller walk-in issues. This is not a health care practicing location.
I had a virtual (phone) appointment for 4pm yesterday evening with Dr. Gopy Arumugam. I waited by my phone for 5 hours and he never called me. After 2 and a half hours of waiting, I tried to call to helpline but they were closed for the day. I tried to book with another Doctor, but there were no more appointments for the day. After filing a complaint by email, I received a response this morning that the Doctor said I was a no show! I have no missed calls and waited by my phone attentively while in pain for hours. The clinic absolved themselves of responsibility- stating they contract out Doctors. There need to be repercussions for their Doctors not attending appointments then lying about it! So avoid this service - especially if you're in pain or have an urgent medical issue.

I had the virtual appointment with doctor Amber Chang as virtual, today at 5.20pm. I asked to video call to talk to her. But she was late and she talked to me at 5.40 pm for only 3 min. She did not even ask me what my problem is, and did not check my medical records on Appletree files. I have been with Appletree for 4 years with Dr. Mathai. She just asked me : what do you need? She closed the call without saying anything and just directly emailed the prescription. She said I need to get abother appointment to get another prescrption. She did not even use video call for my appointment, even though I was asking for a video call. This is so disappointing and unpleasant.
Receptionist booked an early am appt for mothers day Sunday for me and I took it because I needed to deal with some chronic long term issues. Showed up and no one was there. I waited 45 minutes . No one ever showed so I slipped my appt confirmation under their door with a note for them to call me. They never did. Nice way to treat your patients. Missed my mom's day sleep in for nada. Won't be going back.
I used this service a couple times I had Dr. Gnanaraj Shanmugarajah. He was great the wait times could get long but same as if you were to walk in but atleast I get to wait at the comfort of my home. Highly recommend this website and DR.
They made us wait for more than 3 hours, and it's really bad. They don't care at all !! Came many times , all the times it's a really long wait , even though you have an appointment you have to wait for more than 1 hour just to see the doctor.

First time at the clinic for a vaccination and I was in and out in half an hour. I did make an appointment rather than walking-in, so 30 minutes is decently good. Making an appointment was kind of difficult because the website has a few bugs and inaccurate info. E.g. some of the doctors are listed wrong (don't actually work at the location on that day). Staff was nice!

Best Walk-in Medical Centre in the world. Very little wait time. Excellent doctors and referral doctors. Excellent nursing staff. Answer all your questions. Very supportive. Onsite blood, urine and EKG testing labs. Xray and Ultrasound labs. Pharmacy on site. My Family Doctor relocated to Appletree for all the benefits. Don't believe all the negative views. So many people believe they should be waited on hand and foot. If you don't like the facility and staff and services then find your own personal family doctor and see if you get better service and how many places you have to go to for all your testing services and to see a specialist. And free parking!

I have been visiting this clinic since 2016. Except a few times, I have very good experience about this clinic. Obviously, that exception are due to high number of patient flow before the pandemic. Most of the time I visit here, I feel so happy that I was served in a very professional manner by all the staffs including the doctors. That is the reason I have requested a MD to be our family doctor. During pandemic, this clinic is helping patients based on the public health measures and guidelines of city and the province. I love this place, thank you all who made this place memorable.
Was not informed by reception or doctor until end of visit that they charge $40 for a doctor's note . Which I obviously was not prepared for. But hey they accept cash, debit and credit card. Obviously my last visit.

When asked if I was looking for a Dr. I responded yes. When the Dr. came in she was so abrupt and curt I was told I could only have a 7 day prescription, because I didn't have a family dr. !!!! The Dr. didn't invite me to be her patient, although I had just been offered to consider her services at the reception. Very taken back to say the least. Definitely not an asset to Appletree team, no I will not be returning.
Do not go to Appletree centers unless it’s for a very minor and temporary issue. You won’t get a diagnosis or treatment for anything that involves more than one symptom, because they only allow mentioning one symptom per appointment. The body is a whole, and often illnesses have several symptoms from different systems in the body. Also, the receptionist is the first one that starts you off on the wrong foot- she gave me a headache arguing so negatively.
I would avoid this place! Long waits despite having an appointment, its disorganized, and the desk staff could use to brush up on their customer service skills. I have gone here three times and every time its the same thing. This is a nice new facility, but there is no excuse for the poor management of this place. Judging from the number of negative reviews here, I am not the only one who has had a bad experience here.

Super disorganized. Came in for rapid antigen tests twice, the first time our appointments ended up being about 45 minutes late and it felt rushed, leaving me questioning the accuracy of the results. The second time, it didn't even happen because the clinic ran out of tests. The staff themselves are nice and helpful (namely the receptionist who helped us) but they also seemed to be very short staffed (which is no fault of the people who do work there).
I want to give it 0 starts for service, efficiency and time. The one star is for the doctor which I saw for hardly 5 minutes. I already knew what I wanted- a referral from the doctor to see the ophthalmologist. The receptionist/assistant didn’t know answer to our questions. I was ready to pay out of pocket since I’m visiting from the US yet it was so inconvenient for us. We waited for over an hour with hardly 3 patients in the waiting room. They even turned down seeing a family since it was their lunch time from 1-2:30 and told them to come later. Poor lady, visibly upset, dragged her kids back. I found this unprofessional, since it was hardly 12. I just wanted a referral to see the eye doctor so I sat through the pain and it was one of the only clinics in Toronto that take patients without health card.
Every time I have went into this medical centre to get diagnosed for sicknesses, the doctors have not been able to give me any answers. One time I went in asking a doctor to help me with an allergy test, and she told me she "didn't know what I had and didn't know what to do." I have gotten no help from this facility, and the one time that I was given appropriate meds for my sickness they never gave me instructions on how to take them which I think would be important given I had never had this sickness before. They handed me pills and basically wrote me off. The doctors here don't take anyone from the general public seriously and frankly I have never heard one piece of medical advice since I first started coming here. There are many other family doctors and institutions in Scarborough and Toronto where you could get genuine health advice, with way better service. Do not recommend at all.

If you need ANYTHING related to mental health, I would avoid the Appletree web. Impossible to talk to your doctor's clinic directly - only a call centre. So I mean if you're happy calling customer service to talk about your health, go for it. I'd say they provide health services more so than "healthcare". One plus is the online portal, which is useful for more general physical health services. But for mental health it's ???? for me

This clinic is brutal! We have been accompanying our 87 year old mother to appointments here. The doctor was good but the wait times are long. Waited for 1.5 hrs to see the dr. for 10 minutes. Setting up virtual appointments is almost impossible. The administrative people here have no idea what they are doing! Still waiting to get results from tests sent to referring doctors. If you have the choice go somewhere else. There is no customer service at this clinic.
At the beginning, this place was my go to for health care but lately with the increased number of patients, the staff there are struggling to keep up with the numbers that it makes it impossible to get anything done. They don't have a receptionist which means you wait till one of the assistants become free between all they have to do. The doctor's are overbooked by phone and sometimes even double booked that there are no times for walk-ins. This means the quality and quantity of patient care drops dramatically. The staff is the only thing that keeps me coming back since they are so welcoming and offer you their help, while dealing with all the chaos. I have found that the rooms are not cleaned on a regular basis. I have found needle caps, loose items about in the examination rooms that tells me that appletree doesn't employ a cleaner and that it is up to the staff at the end of day. DO NOT GO as a WALK-in as it will take you forever. I've also noticed that the older generation having trouble with the kiosk and the lack of receptionist available makes it even harder. I've actually had to help them to prevent someone else from jumping the line. The biggest annoyance is that you make an appointment but now your doctor is also attending to walk-in that maybe inserted between appointments which pushes back actual appointments. The time for interaction between my family doctor and I are greatly reduced since she is rushing about to meet all the patients. They should have a minimum of two walk-in doctors that do have appointments all the time to handle the volume of patients. I really hope that they change things around there otherwise people will start looking elsewhere.

Great timing! I came here when i was sick and it was easy to book an appointment. Those computers grab all your info and you get an email right away. The wait to see a doctor is always long. When you are finally pass to see the doctor you have to wait an other long time. They have no control on that but they are friendly and acknowledge you.

The waiting is too long even if you book an appointment. I came for a rapid antigen test for my travel and I had to wait almost an hour even though I had an appointment. It was very stressful for me since I had multiple things planned for the day. Overall I felt so discouraged and disappointed. If you are looking for a clinic to get your tests done quickly and leave, this is NOT the place.

Been a patient here since 2015. I was in search of a family doctor and was recomened to give Dr. Thinakaran a try. Dr. Thinakaran is an amazing doctor, very caring, thorough and passionate. She treats you like if you're one of her family members, and really shows care/concern for your health. I've expereince bad vibes with one doctor that works there, and I will always continue to refuse to see him, and will always try my best to have an appointment booked with Dr. Thinakaran, or this one other doctor (I forgot her name) but I saw her one time on a weekend. I gave only four stars because lately, they have been slacking. Before I was able to book an appointment and get seen right at my appointment time, but now it's like an hour and a half wait to get seen after your appointment time. But it's worth the wait for adequate care, you just have to have a lot of time set aside for the wait. They should offer free WIFI in order to have the time go by fast, but unfortunately they don't.

I have been trying to reach a doctor for a 98 year old woman. Doctor will not call me, keeps calling the patient. I want to arrange visiting home nurse. After several attempts, I learn from the patient's house mate, who the doctor has been speaking with, I need to send him the POA. No email or fax options were provided. The call centre is not helpful and frequently very rude! TERRIBLE!!!! JUST TERRIBLE! Even a score of 1 is too high.
Avoid This place is not being managed properly. There is no reception person, the rooms are dirty because it appears they are not being cleaned properly after each use, they overbook so expect long waits, and they staff seems to be unhappy and grumpy which transfers over to the patients. If you have an option to go somewhere else, then go to another medical centre.

My family doctor moved to this facility, it has been a major disappointment. I have never been to such a horribly run place. I took my sister for an appointment, we checked in 3 times and keep getting told that she will be the next patient and it will be 15 minutes more, but it has been 2 hours. And patient after patient keeps getting called in. Dr. Lyons, I truly expected better, I do believe this is where we part ways.

Call center representatives are extremely dumb people. They attempt to hook you into there web of doctors and have you see as many as possible to accrued as much money as possible from clients. They refuse to give existing patients contact information for specialists they're already seeing. Instead attempt to force patients to start the process all over again of making 6 appointments with doctors unnecessarily and waste there time in order to make as much money off of you as possible. Horribly unethical business practices.
i did a test and went for follow up and they didnt even have my result yet and ask me to call lab myself which is okay for me and I just called the lab and they said clinic didnt check out this option .okay ? I TOOK A DAY OFF and it totally wasted my time!

Worst service you ever get from a medical clinic. They will not respond to calls and emails properly with the correct answers. They are careless about delivering the test results. There will be no follow up calls or emails for the test results taken. I have took the tests in December and still did not received any email or call from the doctors office. On top of that I need to pay for reviewing my results after a month. Worst experience ever in medical clinic for an international student. I suggest students with Guardme do not visit this clinic.

Apple tree is a good health care centre for international students and all. Apple tree is only a place who provide services till 8 o'clock and even Saturday and Sunday.
There is always a very long waiting time, at least expect to wait 1 hour everytime, I have been here with my mom, dad, and bother at different times and always a long waiting time. Just plan your visit accordingly.

The place is good. Staffs are nice. However, I was unhappy to be loughed by a doctor for calling the wrong name of a medication.
BEWARE - This is not a professional establishment at all. Waited for an hour and then was told that the doctor will not be seeing us with no explanation. It was not a shopping trip, people waiting are sick and not feeling well! How can you treat them this way? We could've gone somewhere else instead of waiting for nothing.

BAD:There is literally no difference between walk in or emergency VS having an appointment here. It takes as much time. People walking in after you would see a doctor before you. After having your name called do not think it's your turn, you still have to wait for 30mins inside before seeing the doctor. Expect 2 to 3 hrs of wait time and that is after you book an appointment. I always go this clinic because it is close by. Most of doctors are new and young and but they are still ok. But, I was really not happy today while I saw Dr. Fazalullasha after waiting more than one hour. I told her I had very bad stomach pain and I took anti-acid pills but it just reduced acid but didn't help the pain. She was so careless and didn't listen at all, just asked me to take Zantac. I took Zantac but my stomach is still very painful now.

Worst clinic ever. Had to wait for 30 minutes to find out there was a glitch in the booking system. Then had to wait over an hour after in the room. I was not the only one that it happened to. Inaccurate prescription was prescribed so had to wait at the pharmacy for an extra hour to get it all clarified. I have spent a total of 5 hours from the registration to receiving my medication. Never going to this clinic ever again.
Tried to book a virtual appointment with Appletree Medical and the doctor canceled on me because he doesn't deal with the condition I was referring to. Family doctors are supposed to be GENERAL practitioners- meaning they're the primary person we see before we get to see anyone else. They are the bottleneck and all issues we have are supposed to go through them first. If they just start choosing some conditions to treat and not others, what happens to all the people with conditions that don't make the list? How is anyone supposed to get to the next line of care (ie. a specialist) if they can't get a hold of a family doctor first? I thought healthcare was about trying to help people and do what's best for the patient, NOT what's most convenient for the doctor. Will NEVER see or recommend Appletree to anyone.
Wait times are terrible (2 hours+ after having booked an appt) literally wasted my entire morning for a 2 min visit with the doc. They squeeze in walk-ins and appts for the same doctor and do not cap walk-ins based on intake. The one star is for some of the doctors and staff, who are pretty decent.

Don’t go. I would like to know who to report these people to!! Horribly rude and not managed at all!! My daughter waited 2 hours when posted wait time is 20 minutes. To top that, they took others before her and blamed it on their iPad!!! Very rude defensive people!!! I’d give them a zero like most of the others said who left feedback. We left for the hospital without ever seeing a doctor!!!!

I saw Dr. Fazalullasha and she was awesome! Her knowledge is great. I did not feel rushed and felt like I was well cared for.
I have been feeling knee pain for 3 weeks. I visited Dr. Thinakaran in this clinic and she didn't check me just ask few questions from the door of a room, she spent not more than 1 minute. And in second visit, after waiting long hour, she just said nothing found in test report and said to change lifestyle BUT didn't suggest how to change it or what to do to heal this severe pain . She even doesn't know how to deal with patients. WORST EEXPERIENCE, Just wasted weeks and STILL SUFFERING with this pain.
They are sometimes dead and sometimes overbooked but you can check clinic wait times online and also book an appointment. Try not to go during busy hours. I have been well treated by every doctor there and have chosen a family doctor who has a good knowledge of my health concerns now and has referred me to specialists when necessary. I am happy to wait if I have to knowing that they give patients great care.
Listen to the other Google reviews. I wish I could give a negative rating quite honestly. Absolutely the worst clinic my family and I have been to. The staff are not professional and quite frankly not fit for the job. Even the simplest tasks seem to be an issue for them (i.e. booking an appointment). From what I can tell, they seem to hire students basically who have zero experience who are supported (barely) by irresponsible nurses/doctors. I went to this walk in clinic with my mom for an emergency. They took a sample and then they "forgot" to send it to the lab. I only found out when my actual family doctor mentioned that he did not receive any results or anything from Appletree medical center. We later found out DAYS later that one of the main nurses forgot to send the sample. God forbid the other worse things they have done to other innocent people. Do not go here. They are simply just there to take money.
So I’ve been going here for a while now and I really like my doctor (Dr. Thinakaran), the stars on this post are for her alone. However, I’ve been going back and forth with the company for a while now regarding a physical. They charge I believe $170 for a physical which is covered by OHIP. I’ve been going back and forth because they say OHIP no longer covers it. This to me is just wild. I’ve called the ministry of health to confirm if there was a change in the coverage of physicals and they ensured me that a yearly physical is still covered by OHIP. I’m furious with the company for not taking time to inform themselves and to argue with me.

Great service! Used the doctors and the lab upstairs and had extremely caring, friendly and timely service. I will never go back to my family doctors, switched all my services to this place.
I am so sad because I still didn’t get the my x-ray results from this clinic after two weeks and I feeling not okay for my nose ,I can’t sleep well because one side nose can’t breath.Also I call the clinic to ask the results they told me they didn’t find my results .????????????
if i could have rated minus, i would have. This so called medical centre is for if you want to die, then go to visit this place. Dr. Pamela was absolutely delightful. ultrasound and xray was done on me. after one week i am still waiting for the results. Fortunately, i went to the emergency department and within two hours i have seen a doctor and the proper diagnostic was done . This place should be closed down. This place is fraudulently obtaining money from the Ontario health plan. Patient care is non-existent. Stay far away from visiting this place. If you don't care about living, only then you should go there.
Clinic allowed us to sign in as walk-in, but failed to notify we would only be seen after appointments were completed. Dr. who was doing walk-ins had a full appointment schedule, which meant we would have had to wait until after he was done his appointments . Clinic should not call itself a walk-in if you do not have a doctor designated for walk-ins. It seems it was all about quantity for a pay day. DONT GO IN ON A WALK IN BASIS!!! Totally not worth it.

Wish you could rate negative. This place needs to be reported and shut down for it's fraudulent visade as being a place that provides healthcare. I had an appointment this morning, very important. Doctor simply never called. I guess you can graduate medical school but not figure out how to tell time? I tried to call the clinic twice, and the phone kept ringing but no answer. Do not even waste your time trying. Put in the extra time and effort, and find a doctor who will actually see you.
Their phone channel sucks! You call them there is no answer, or the pick up and hang up.
My mother had a virtual doctor appointment on Friday, November 13, 2020. She needed a medical note and which we paid through a credit card. However, in addition to the medical letter, customer service also charged my credit card for the "Uninsured Patient - Intermediate Assessment Covid-19", which we did not do. I immediately contacted customer service and informed them regarding this error. Customer service issued us a refund letter noting the refund amount via email. When I checked my credit card statement recently, I was charged the original amount to our credit card and have not received a refund yet. Saturday, December 5, 2020. I contacted the customer service and did not receive a proper response regarding my enquiry. I even provided them with the reference number of the refund receipt letter sent to me via email by Appletree. Please make sure to issue my refund at the earliest.
Terrible service by the front desk staff. You can never get an answer over the phone for anything, including basic test results. The answer is always "make an appointment". Then you have to sit an wait on average 1.5 - 2 hours on every visit, just to get called into an exam room where you then wait for an additional minimum of 30 minutes. Ridiculous!
I don’t know what all these maniacs are talking about, I have been here several times and just today I visited the walk in and I got to see the doctor within 20 min. I think this place needs more support from people, and people should be more patient.
I had an appointment at 7:00 pm on August 9, 2017. I booked that appointment specially to go there after work and not to waste time waiting in line. When i arrived the receptionist told that i have to wait about 15 min for doctor Raut, Abhishek to get free. Overall, my waiting time was 45 minutes !! When appointment was set to be at 7pm, unacceptable! When i asked the receptionist why then they schedule exact time if it is the same as walk-in service, she turned with a back to me and was silent. When i asked her second time - she just simple said that its not her responsibility- up to doctor. No apologies for wasted time, nothing! Not professional at all! Then she let me in the room where i waited more 15 min for the Dr. Abhishek Raut. Whe he arrived and i said him that its not normal to wait 1 hour already when I booked an appointment specially not to waste time in line- he made a stupid smile and started to ask questions related to health. In the end- Dr. Raut did nor help me and gave me expected professional service. He is not sure in the diagnosis when it comes to simple soar throat with a possibility of tonsillitis. He started to advise to test myself for various allergies even when i told him that i am already checked for them. Lost in words, seems not professional at all. In the end he even went rude telling if you will feel bad tomorrow you can come to me and wait one hour more (knowing that i already wasted my time). Its obviously rude, not polite and shows him as a doctor from totally unprofessional side. Not worth to go for appointment with him at all. Receptionist are not nice and friendly, not able to speak up and treat patients of the clinic as it supposed to be.

Absolutely terrible and unprofessional. The receptionists have poor communication skills. I had the same problem as others regarding a referral this clinic was supposed to do. The so called doctor wrote a letter for my daughter for school, and the school wouldn't accept it because it was too vague. A $25.00 joke. I would not recommend these chain store type clinics, find an independently owned Doctors office with trained professional staff and Doctors.
I wish I can give them NO STAR. The people working there are VERY unprofessional, including the people at the call center. I called for an appointment and they said they can't give appointment since I need an appointment, for same day, but I can come for walk - in between 2pm to 8pm anytime. Since I am really sick I went and checked in 3.30 pm. I waiting until 5.00 pm, I asked male receptionist how long more for my turn, I was told 5 more patients. Then I checked again at 5.30 with an other female receptionist how long more, she says you came as walk in, and it will be an other one hour. They did not take me inside until 7.56 pm. I checked in at 3.30 pm. The doctor did not see me until around 8.15 pm (WITH THE SIMPLE SORRY). if you had appointments until suck time, why would your call center person asked me to come in anytime 2-8 pm. Why the receptionist did not inform me it is going to be a long wait when I checked in at 3.30 pm.??. They made me wait almost 5 hours to see the doctor. I was almost fainted. This situation made my sickness worst and caused me a lot of stress and sleepless night. PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

I had phone appointment with dr gananraj at 12:44pm. But nvr got call back from him for whole day. I called clinic and asked them whats going on. They said he will call me shortly but I didn’t got any call from him
Was a walk in for my father 86, needed ears flushed out because he could not hear anything. My mom confirmed they could help. Waited a very long 2 hours to be told by dr that she was unable to help only gives prescription which he did not need Terrible front desk and very disorganized. PWill not go back to this so called clinic.
Don't go here. made an appointment for 8:15 am, got there and the office was closed, even though the receptionist and google said they open at 8 am. waited for about half an hour outside the door and nobody showed up. nobody contacted me at all after either. a week before, i went for a walk-in, because that's what they said they did and had a big sign out front saying they did walk-ins, and the receptionist said they don't do walk-ins. lol??????
I had a pleasant experience. The wait was as advertised on their wait time. The medical assistant and Dr. Punungwe were both courteous, professional and treated me with respect. I would recommend to anyone going into a walk-in to check the wait time on their site to make sure the wait is "agreeable", and to go in with an open mind as the training and knowledge in medicine of a practicing physician is generally better than my own or most others.

VERY PAINFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. The worst service I have ever been encountered. To reach family doctor, patients have to go through back office which is very painful. Even back office people don't receive phone, if do they are very rude and different people give you different information. If you leave any information for your family doctor, it will never reaches to doctor. I requested 3 tests results from my previous doctor. My previous doctor sent the results 4 times; all the time back office of Apple tree medical group said they did not receive the documents. It took about 1year to get my test results from my previous family doctor to be attached in my chart here. I there is an option to rating zero, I would do it. Today customer service/back office agent Jasmine just disconnected my call without finishing my concern. So unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour .
I have not had a bad experience with the Dr. there. I usually see Dr. Thinakaran, she is good and helpful. I however have a bad experience every time I have to end up calling their phone #. The Dr. had referred me to a specialist and since I didn't hear anything back regarding the appointment I ended up calling them & they are completely useless. Apparently the call is answered by someone off site (in the U.S) & they have no idea about referrals, there is no follow up what so ever. The only way you can follow up is by visiting the doctor personally. If you leave the clinic without a conformation, be ready to make another visit in case you don't hear anything. Not efficient or customer friendly.
My husband went in very sick with a horrible cold. It was nearly 10 days that he was sick. They sent him for X-rays and sent him home with no medication as they needed to see the results of the X-rays. My husband has heart condition, and we thought that it was precautionary. We called later in the day to see if the results were ready. This was another horrible experience, as we were directed to a Call Center not located in Toronto, I remember the agent saying she was based in Ottawa. Finally we reached the office and we were told that the morning doctor had left for the day. My husband got out of bed and went back to the clinic the next morning, sick as he was and they said the doctor did not read the X-rays. The next day he got out of bed, getting worse rather than better, and when he went in to try to get a prescription and see the doctor he was told that it takes 7 to 10 days to get the results. Ridiculous, He was not treated and could have been seriously damaged from this, special when he was told on day 1 that they suspected that he had an pneumonia. Ohip should be reimburse for the visit charge and the and X-rays fees. I will be calling Ohip to report this. Do not go there if you are sick. 13 days later and no call or follow up. What a waste of Time and Ohip money. Today , 13 days after, he received a call to make an appointement to see a doctor again. He said forget it.
AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL. WOW. please be careful when dealing with these ppl. Bad service. Bad communication. Double trips to the doctors cause they fail to confirm references. Time schedule all over the place. No concern for patients mental and physical health. Discrepancies and inaccuracies of doctor availability and walk in times between different receptionists. Went for ultrasound. When I first walked in I had to fill in a covid form. I asked the receptionist if she cleaned the pen I have to use. She said with a bad attitude "I don't have time for that" everywhere el se I go clean pen. Then I was called for my appointment, got undressed and was lying on the bed ready for ultra sound. Then I was told to get off the bed because patient that was late was before me. At this point my bladder was ready to burst. So I sat in the changing room in discust.
First appt of the day so no reason to be an hr behind....still waiting. Avoid this clinic.
I was trying to contact the receptionist to speak to them directly, but this seems impossible as you can only speak to the virtual staff. I had asked the virtual staff to pass on a message to the receptionist and they weren’t able to do that either. I’m not sure how this clinic runs and this is very frustrating.
The worst customer service from the call centre and receptionists. Very disorganized, incredibly incompetent!! Virtual appointments are cancelled ad hoc, appointments are rushed, just awful medical care.
DON'T GO HERE!!! When the Clinic was new, it was clean and the staff seemed to care about the patients. I waited for over two hours to only find out they didn't have me in the computer, although I got a confirmation email and had the name of the Doctor I was to see. They then said they would have the doctor see me right away, and put me in an examination room to only forget about me again. The room was filthy, considering it was a Doctor's office, the floor looked like it had not been washed for many weeks, as well as there was dirt around the edges of the room, and used cotton swabs on the floor. After more than a half an hour, I had still not seen a Doctor. I asked if the the Doctor was going to see me, and they said he was with another walk-in patient. I had seen the patient come in, about an hour after I did. I ended up leaving without seeing a Doctor, only to have to find another clinic the next day. The staff, seemed to be nice, on entry, but when it comes down to it they were only there to pay lip service for the incompetence of the Clinic. The staff in a Clinic is only as good as the people running it, it is obvious that this Clinic is only out for the money, not the health of their patients.
Checked in at the onsite kiosk at 11 am. It’s now 3:35 pm, over 4 and 1/2 hrs. Bad management. I think we are going to leave now and give up waiting. Don’t recommend this place to anyone.
Had a virtual appointment with Dr. Shanmugarajah at 1:25pm and still haven't received a call. It's 2:18pm now and no one is answering the phone at the clinic. Horrible service don't waste your time! Edit: Upgrade from 1 star to 3 because doctor ended up calling me about two hours later and apologized for being late.

With the covid 19 pandemic, i am very skeptical about coming to the clinic. Due to personal reason, i had to see the doctor on Dec 8. Everyone was given a time slot, and there was no waiting patient in the clinic. The admin was very friendly and supportive, answered all my concern. She mentioned that all the chairs were santizied before each guest came in. The doctor was responsive. My experience was efficient and good. Would recommend for others.
Dont waste your time. Go elsewhere. I had a virtual apt yesterday, while waiting I was claimed a no show and cancelled the apt. Called in and they rescheduled my apt for an hour later for a phone call, never received a phone call. Would rate 0 if I could!
Hello.Staffs are very rude and horrible. My husband wait for 1 hrs for his appointment. Kiosk system never work properly. Instead of giving proper answer they are start blaming on us.

Booked an appointment for my mother, whom struggles greatly walking. Walked in, waited quite a while for the receptionist to even say anything to her. Receptionist was extremely rude, and couldn't care less about anything we had to say. I've been in the customer service industry for 7+ years and she wouldn't have lasted two days working for me! Very disappointed in this individual, and the service we were given. I won't be going back ever.
This isn’t a walk-in clinic; you need to book an appointment. If you were to walk-in you will have to wait till all appointments are seen by a doctor which takes between 2-4 hours on a busy day. You are better off going to the hospital. Please book an appointment and avoid the chaos! I am not sure why the f**k they advertise as a walk-in clinic!
