My husband and I did the prenatal courses at home with Lissa and they completely transformed the way I approached my pregnancy and delivery. Lissa was 100% honest and transparent in responding to any question we threw her way; the information and frankness really built up my confidence and allowed me to approach my delivery from an informed and empowered perspective. By the time I had completed the course with her, my views had shifted on a lot of misconceptions I had about pregnancy, and it really opened my eyes to how much misinformation is floating around + how much we blindly trust what we've heard/been told. I looked forward to my delivery date, and when labor hit, I knew exactly what to do and how to do it. It's also worth having your partner/whoever will be present in labor with you be present for the course, as it allows you to have bigger conversations about how you want your delivery to go, and it allows that person to advocate for you when you may not be in the best state to do so yourself. I found my husband reminding me of tips and techniques we learned in the course while I was actively and labor, and it made all the difference. I highly recommend taking a course with Maternity Ô Naturel if you're feeling overwhelmed, scared, or maybe just looking for more information about what to expect. My confidence around labor grew tenfold after just the first course with Lissa.
