On my trip to Montreal I had a strong pain and I went to the emergency room at dawn and the truth is that more personal is needed because they have a lot of work but my attention was very kind and affectionate, especially the nurse who accompanied me almost all the time , I want to thank her work because thanks to her I was much calmer, she made a joke and was very professional, thank you very much Milene Desormeau and the whole team in general

(Translated) I give zero stars for the worst service I received. I heard from midnight to 5am for my 3 ½ year old daughter who has a high fever. we were so tired that we had to leave. While I was leaving, I was very shocked to see that it was the same people waiting in the waiting room, I am convinced that a large part went home without consulting a doctor.

(Translated) In 2019, how can we have no security at the central door of emergencies to help & for the safety of employees & patients. Department of emergency, very I tell you very stupid, no intimacy of diagnoses, both doctors speak extremely loudly to patients. I have been treated good here. I have been going to this hospital all my life. I find they are accommodating when it comes to me when I cannot speak French. I find that they are a good. They took good care of my father when he was in there. Update: September 21, 2019 I would like to say thanks again for taking good care of my mom while she was under your care. Thanks for doing a great job.

Went to the emergency after my son suffered a fall, we got in the tirage and started to explain what happened when the nurse stopped us and said "no no no I'm not doing this, I don't speak English", we asked if we could see someone who speaks English and he said "I don't know". I told him but you are speaking English fine right now and the nurse just walked away. I swear I would never step in this hospital ever again.

(Translated) The worst experience I have had in my life ... I fell unconscious on my birthday ... I was in a restaurant and had a drop in blood pressure (I don't drink alcohol by the way) ... when I fell I opened my head 3 cm ... he put my "priority 3" so I still had to go quickly because of my condition, only when the human body decides to fall unconscious. .. which means that my body had a problem serious enough for me to fall like this, it seems that the staff are not competent enough to take into account the seriousness of the situation ... 12 hours later he tells me that I am "priority 4" then that I still had to wait ... I did not eat there slept there all this time ... seriously go elsewhere if you have something serious because even after talking to the lady at registration, the nurse that I should have taken her name so much to make a complaint about her subject, he felt offended by my dissatisfaction and then f let the security guard come. All this with are air very arrogant and contemptuous, I explain to him that I have not eaten slept there and answers me "Ben is going to eat" seeing that I answered him "you are serious that you are taunting me with your guard of security when all I need are stitches ??? ". Especially since with an opening of 3 cm I must have points of support within 12 hours. So you will understand that the deadline had already passed due to their incompetence! I then went to the deprive that they told me "I don't know why you didn't send you home sir, your opening doesn't even need a stitches" then $ 120 later and 12 hours of waiting for no damn reason ... thank you hospital st -eustache you know how to treat your patients with understanding and professionalism !! The nurse in question is working today January 5th, he was at work between 9.15am - 9.30am in the emergency room ... short hair, small beard measuring around 5p5 - 5p6 so if the management knows who knows I hope that although you go and solve the problem because no one should do this and personally the person should change domain because he or she has nothing to do in hospitals to treat patients!

(Translated) This opinion concerns only my experience with the secretariat of the endoscopy service (colon). I waited for an appointment more than two years. One week before the RV, I was told by phone the medications to take. Can not have a prescription by fax (or email) or directly to my pharmacy. As a result, the medications must be spelled out and these drugs must be paid in full in the absence of a valid MD prescription. The cost of the drug is therefore not eligible for medical expenses for federal or provincial taxes. This procedure therefore transfers the payment of the drugs from the hospital directly to the patient without being able to deduce them and presents a risk of misinterpretation of both the nomenclature and the dosage. This is disappointing and would benefit from improved RV confirmation procedures in this department.

(Translated) My husband stayed there 2 days and back, realized that he had somebody else's hospital card in his possession but not his own. That said, his prescription as well as his doctor's note was in the name of this someone else ... we start to think so that his blood tests and others could be mixed with this kkun else too ??? ? We returned the wrong card to hospital but they did not investigate further apparently. I think it's a good hospital but there is a huge lack of staff because the population around and its houses and neighborhood have exploded in 20 years but it is still the same hospital and even effective except for a very small floor in surplus since.

Arrived: 10:30PM Friday night (I’m certain I was considered P4, need to see a doctor but time is not a factor which is fine) Left: 3:30PM Saturday afternoon (not so great) Kids get right of way which is fine by me and the way it should be. So if you see lots of kids in the ER get out of there. Lots of non-sick elderly people there just for a headache or minor heart pain clogging the wait time. Some elderly ladies were recommended to leave because they were OK, lol. That was a tad comical I must say. So okay, I was a 1 star until I was assisted by Dre. Gravel and the nurse Jade. Just WOW, felt like the nurse had an overall 99 PR rating and the Dre took ownership of my situation in a way that was just something I had never experienced before. I had no sleep, mumbling, extremely nervous, confused. They were both so patient, positive and made me feel like I was Ryan and not patient n47236. Thank you

(Translated) IF YOU NEED AN ULTRASOUND, I DEBATE THIS HOSPITAL! I have a very painful condition in the uterus and ovaries and I needed an ultrasound. The two women who took the test were so disinterested and made fun of my pain. They did not even help me out of my wheelchair. They were completely unaware when I told them to go a little bit more gently because it hurt. At a certain point I warned one of them that her wrist was leaning on a very painful part and she told me: "It's not my wrist, it's my hand". SHE DID NOT REMOVE HIS FUCKING HAND. EVEN NOT EXCUSED. I thought maybe they could help me out of the test to sit in my wheelchair (my only way to get around "), but no, they just left the room, leaving me alone. (Translated) My 93-year-old mother, after several falls but without injuries, ended up in the hospital during this covid period. The staff seem very friendly. He was found to have very advanced uterine cancer which his doctor had never detected despite regular visits each year and as needed ????. What I deplore is that after entering the hospital, it took 2 weeks before I knew I could bring him paste and toothbrush ..... and the day of his death, when I was able go see her, I knew I could bring her soap and body cream ?????? And I also noticed that the "palliative" care in the hospital, what they call the comfort care is in fact, taking morphine ..... I called it every evening. She was unable to hang up. So she left the receiver on her bed. And I was listening .... you know when you call someone to go to the bathroom, (as she was confused, she couldn't see her bell), then you get up, the carpet rings, you go to the bathroom pain and misery and you come back to sit down (not able to go back to bed) it rang for a long time ..... however, I want to understand that it lacks staff. We pay enough taxes ... please M Legault, provide us the services for which we pay as much $$$ (Original) Ma mère de 93 ans , suite à plusieurs chutes mais sans blessures , s est retrouvée à l hôpital en cette période de covid. (Translated) Worst hospital in the world !! My father returned to this hospital by ambulance with very very high blood pressure and we just left afterwards, believe me I am not lying, 14 hours of waiting and were not even seen by the doctor! Another thing, there was only 1 doctor in the emergency room and my father came by ambulance and with an anomaly found in the electro was considered priority 5 !!! Finally, very poor management and organization of this hospital, they place patients in the wards so that the doctor can meet them and the nurses forget them and call them back to reassess them !!!!! How to confuse the date of birth and expiration on the health insurance card when working in reception? Controversial communication. Operated yesterday and I can not reach anyone to tell me what was done to me ... Lovely staff in day surgery. I update: RV postoperative follow-up on waiting list, 3 months later I am imposed an RV 3 days in advance, no luck I am not available and leave a message on answering service. I went there after a nurse at info santé strongly urged me to present myself because my breathing problems and stomach pain sounded serious. I told him that I didn't want to spend 20 hrs in pain in a waiting room for something that wasn't urgent. On his suggestion, I went anyways. 26 hrs later, the doctors give me a prescription and say it might be one of 2 things. The place gets 3 stars because the staff (doctors included) were all polite and seemed to genuinely care!

My 5-year son needed stitches on the face. They told us that kids had priority. We waited 10h during the night with my son on ours arms. Only one doctor for the whole hospital during nights. Horrible, incredibly unhuman experience. The doctor and the nurses were very kind, at least.

I did an MRI at this hospital 11 days ago and I still have not received the results. The first few days of my MRI, I called my doctor for my results and they told me the radiologist has not even looked at it yet. A week later I called the hospital again and I was told that the radiologist looked at it but the report has not been made yet. The doctor that referred me to get a MRI also called and was told that it would be ready on Thursday, that was last Thursday. I waited for the doctor to call me back on Friday and he did not, so I called him again and they called the hospital to be told the report was not made yet. It has been 9 days now and I am very frustrated. The MRI was done on my brain. The woman whom makes the appointments at the hospital, whom I talked to on the phone, told me there was something on my report but she could not tell me what it was. This is another reason why I am worried. This is the reason the there is a breakdown in the medical field and why people only find out what is wrong with them when their disease they have is too late to cure. I am thinking twice about going back there for my next MRI I am supposed to do.

Rude staff, rude policies My father-in-law was recently hospitalized at the Saint Eustache hospital, they would not allow me to stay with him overnight when he very much needed a family member to care for him and help with medical decisions, at 8:35 they sent the security guards to escort me out since visiting hours ends 8:30

Im at St. Eustache Hospital because of a sudden pain on the right side of abdomen. I had no other symptoms. I spent 36 hours in the emergency in very close proximity to many patients. Should have taken pictures. Of course, before any test, before seeing any doctor I went through a COVID test (which came back negative). In the emergency, I started developping a fever. I passed a bunch of tests, none of which showed anything wrong. I don't have any Covid symptoms other than the fever, which very probably is related to my stomach pains and may be due to some sort of infection... I wouldn't know, the doctors don't know. During my 36 h stay in the emergency room I was also told my tests would continue externally at other clinics. They were done with the tests that they wanted me to go through and said I was going to be "congédié" soon. I was also done with them for letting me just be there for 24 h without food or any non conflicting explanations. With the packed emergency room and the staff who told me different things at every change of shift. I've asked multiple times for them to let me go to another hospital which they strongly discouraged me from doing. Because supposedly I was under good hands. Last night, I tried again, telling the nurse that I don't trust them anymore and starting from zero at a different hospital would not be much different as they're no closer to figuring out what I have. That's when she said that I was under iv antibiotics and it would not be adviceable to stop suddenly. And I found that histerical because, just that morning the doctor told me that my blood/urine didn't show any symptoms of infection. But the cherry on the cake is that he had also said that they would take me off of the antibiotics. Apparently, that same morning I receveived (without my knowledge/consent) more antibiotics. Now, I didnt know if I had misunderstood or what but I was supposed to receive more and was advised not to skip them... I didn't know what to do, so instead of opting for skipping on something that may be necessary, I chose to stay. I was also moved from the emergency to my "room". A couple of curtains (that don't even close all the way) in the middle of a corridor. Staff and patients alike passing by, constantly. After switching me to this "room" I was told that because of my fevers, I had to stay in isolation. Meaning that I was confined to the curtains (WHAT?!). So I was asked to not move. Not even to pee. They gave me a urinal that I could use to relieve myself, in public, in the middle of a corridor, behind the curtains. I'm 29 years old and 6'4" tall, I don't even fit in the stretcher that they put me on. I spent a night with my feet hanging out, the corridor's light in my face, hurting and barely able to move, trying to get a minimum 5 h of sleep. Finally, from what I could see, other patients are not being treated any better. Covid isolation is a complete joke. I don't think that I have Covid because I don't go out much other than to buy stuff but if I do, I'm exposing everyone passing by me. I'm posting this around 56 hour after I came to this hospital. Please share and don't let your loved ones come to this aweful mismanaged place. PS: I still don't know what I have and they still won't even give me a copy OR summary of my file.

Special thanks to the emergency staff and nurses in the pediatrics department who did a great job. I am English, I speak French but people know I am English. I have always been treated well and courteously at the St. Eustache hospital . Worsth hospital ever. My mother has been waiting 2 months for a surgery. On the day of her surgery after she waited all day at the hospital they took her in put her under IV and then an hour later they told her they couldn't do the surgery because they were short-staffed. Very unprofessional, if you value your health don't go to this hospital.

Mélanie M.

My 9 year old sat for 12 hours, 5:00pm to 5:00am in the emergency room for 6 stitches. 6 STITCHES that took no more than a couple of minutes to do. The doctor and nurses were extremely apologetic about the wait time, and were very friendly. For crying out loud, these people are so under staffed, and I can only imagine the frustration from patients that is vented upon the staff, and it is not their fault, but the system's fault. Get these people more help, and in turn, help the poor souls who need their services. People there were literally telling me to head to Hawksbury, that the wait times are drastically different. I should NOT need to leave MY home province to get some sort of reasonably timed emergency hospital care!! Help our doctors and nurses, because there is absolutely no need for them to have to be under this amount of pressure!

Great hospital once your admitted but the ER is the WORST! If it’s a genuine emergency, call an ambulance but if you can, go to a city centre hospital instead of here, DO IT! My 9 month old baby was taken in to the Saint Eustache Hospital by ambulance at 8am after failing and cutting himself above the eye. The opening was the size of a penny and we we're promised high priority. At 1pm we started to question why the doctor didn't see our child as the procedure would only take a few minutes to close up the opening. They promised us the we we're second in line. At 6pm we started to panic and placing pressure on the nurses to advise the doctor our our 9 month old baby. 9pm arrived and we decided we needed to change hospital since they were not giving us the care we needed. Surely we waited to long and regret not leaving at 1pm and changing hospitals. We reached out to info Sante and they could not believe our situation and advised us to push the nurses to speak to the doctors since we have invested the entire day and not spend more time at another hospital. My wife and I took on the decision that we could not oube towaiting rany longer and we should go to a children's hospital, as we were on our way out (9:45pm) they stopped us and a doctor looked at our child. All this to say, as young parents we panic in emergencies and we don't think clearly. We believe that everyone should be looking out for our best interest and guiding us in these moments, example the paramedics, nurses or doctors. Truth be told, if you have young children that needs urgent care, stay away from Saint Eustache hospital and for the Saint Justine or the children's hospital. Save yourself the 14 hour wait period and bring yourself to a hospital that will care about your baby. Two last notes, it took the doctor 5 minutes to close the cut... Lastly everyone in the waiting room was willing to give up their spot to make our child pass and they all were telling us we should have gone to Saint Justine as they all have quick responses to the same situation. Don't mean to be negative but when a 5 minute task keeps a 9 month old baby in emergency for 14 hours with all the bacterias and lack of sleep, we should start questioning the credibility our the hospital.

THE WORST HOSPITAL EVER !!!! My mom was waiting in the emergency 24 hours All the employees being so rude when I asked how long it’ll take Evryone who was waiting with her and even the people that came after left alreday home or taking care by the doctor ! My mom is a nurse as well she knows all the procedures and one of the nurse who seen her didn’t do his job and didn’t ask her how is her pain. After talking to the supervisor , we find out he wrote her pain without even asking her somthing that he should have done . He can’t decide her pain and write on her file , it’s a crime !!!! Never recommend no one this experience

(Translated) Following a pregnancy termination I must undergo a curse. I am no other alternative since I am a stewardess and I have to leave Montreal for several flights abroad. Arrive at the hospital I am waited in the emergency room and will never pass me. I was left ajeun for 24hrs. To cancel at 10pm. We ask to come back at 6:30 am and I would be the priority in the morning. And here I am still fasting for almost 20hrs and they push me again. The nurses do their best but no gynecologist gives me an alternative. So I'm still at 18hrs hoping someday to go into surgery. It seems ridiculous to me because there are so many abortion clinics Same procedure for days. I should have been referring to the clsc ?????? No to a day's surgery at the hospital. Women who have an abortion are better treated than me who just learned that my baby is no longer viable in me. So I have to live this grief ajeun without follow-up for 2 days in the emergency room. Ét me voilà encore à jeun depuis presque 20hrs ét on me repousse encore.

(Translated) I went with my 3 year old daughter to St-Eustache Hospital. The triage nurse made me understand that I was worried for nothing that it was just a hematoma. That my daughter does not complain, does not seem to be suffering, is able to move her arm, that falling down her bed can not cause a fracture and that my daughter is coded 5, so any arriving patient comes before her. The nurse advises me to consult in a walk-in the next day IF my daughter complains more. That if I stay it's a waste of time ... So I went home and trusted him .... I took the steps to get a second opinion. My mom's heart knew he had something! I had an appointment in a walk-in clinic, and at first glance I am told: with my 30 years of work at 90% certain that it is fractured. You should go to the hospital to be cared for ... and see a specialist quickly. If we make the X-ray tonight we will have the results tomorrow and have a specialization possibly in 2/3 days more. But eeeee was there at the hospital and the nurse did not trust me. She did not believe me and not see the suffering of my daughter even if she was not crying or shouting! So ste-justine direction or I will be taken seriously. It still took 2h to go to the yard. But the nurse immediately sent me X-rays to confirm the diagnosis. And told me that for a possible fracture it should have been coded 4 regardless of the hospital. This is my daughter .... no need to be a doctor or speech therapist to understand that it's fractured. Know that an official complaint was made to the hospital of St-Eustache. A tip to all parents trust yourself and follow your instincts. My daughter will have a splint for 3 weeks and follow-up ...

(Translated) Hello everyone I had to put a comment because I was really shocked by the proposed care and the little respect of the doctor who treated me I had nothing according to him he just made a blood test and urine and basta no oscultation of the sick part I waited 8h for not much .... he spoke to me coldly with an air of disgust in front of the lack of professionalism I decided to consult a private doctor I paid dearly but he found my illness and I was treated with respect anecdote that shocked me: an old gentleman was making a show in the waiting room, the first nurse was told that we saw who answered us aggressively: I'm not a doctor! and continued to push his stretcher like a pitiful tortoise! 5 minutes after the woman of the reception to take a look and decide to call a doctor in emergency saw the state of the guy.apres another man collapsed on the ground shouting in pain the ignored personel by saying the joke between them lasted 10min before they relieve themselves poor man I am aware that hospitals in France is the 5th compared to here both professional level and equipment level I would never complain again we risk his life by going down the friends they want to go quickly and pass to the next customer is everything they feel your health record! sad that its still exists in 2017 :( (Original) bonjour a tous je me devais de mettre un commentaire car j ai vraiment etait choqué par les soins proposé et le peu de respect du docteur qui m'a traité je n avais rien selon lui il ma juste fait une prise de sang et urine et basta aucune oscultation de la partie malade jai attendu 8h pour pas grand chose....il ma parler froidement avec un air de dégoût devant le manque de professionnalisme jai decidé de consulter un docteur privé jai payer cher mais il a trouver ma maladie et jai etait traiter avec respect anecdote qui ma choqué: un.vieux monsieur fesait un avc dans la salle d attente on a prevenu la 1ere infermiere quon a vu qui nous a repondu agressivement: je suis pas docteur! et a continué a pousser son brancard comme une tortue pitoyable!

(Translated) If I could even put no stars. My grandmother has been hospitalized since April. Unable to talk to us, to tell us the diagnosis ... everyone against said. We ask to see his doctor or nurse .. never deign to come forward. We ask that the doctor contact us by phone to be informed, the only call he makes to us is today, 3 months later. We go 2-3 times a week, the doctor tells us it's our fault and we're not going. Nothing about this trip is reassuring or promising. If you are lucky, never go to this hopitâl. Neither the treatments nor the staff once gave us confidence.

(Translated) Always very long wait, difficult or even impossible to know or know his rank among the waiting patients. My partner was p-4 with a possible foot fracture and we waited 15 hours without ever being seen by a doctor. Is this an internal management problem or a problem caused by the Liberal cuts? In the end, she never received medical service. After those 15 long hours, we gave up the fight and went home around 1:00 AM.

(Translated) Two-part experience. The care is remarkable and the A1 birth team. As for room service, we will be back. No wifi for patients ...... we are in 2021 and with the Covid restrictions in place, a little free internet in order to make contact with our families / friends is the least of things. (Translated) On the morning of March 10, 2021 when I left my house, I fell on the ice and fractured my left arm in 2 places: the olecranon and the radius. We arrived at the hospital at 11 am, the guard took me on a wheelchair to the emergency room where I was taken care of immediately. For my intense pain I was administered a sedative, at 2 p.m. I had an MRI, then I was given a felt bandage which hardened in a few seconds and I went out around 5 p.m. with an appointment for an operation the next day after. -midday. After a 3:15 am operation everything was correct and I left around 7:00 pm, the time to recover my senses. Throughout the process I can't believe how kind, patient, caring everyone I have dealt with. In this time of COVID I was entitled to 5 star service. Thank you to all of you from the emergency department, outpatient clinics, Rx and MRI, to all the nurses and to Doctors Cloutier and Pagé.

Very satisfied with emergency department. I am more comfortable speaking English and that was the language the emergency staff used. Very professional personnel. (Translated) The only good service we receive in this hospital is from the volunteers lol Still lack of doctors, unimaginable waiting time (do not think that you are urgent, because in their eyes you are certainly not), but they put the budget on the construction of the hospital ... More committed of staff before making room to make more people wait even longer, ridiculing the lack of emphaty of the staff. promise to myself to go everywhere else except this hospital I felt even worse within their walls than the physical suffering I had.
