Was unfortunately disappointed. Cost $10 per adult, half the displays inside that were supposed to be interactive were not functioning, outside up the hill looks like it was abandoned and left to rot 10 years ago, construction fencing randomly placed, downed caution tape in between. All the outdoor buildings were barred up and locked up. Not worth full admission in the least. Visited here about 10 years ago and it was in much better shape and much more enjoyable. Will not be making a return visit.

Really enjoyed my visit to the Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre. I love the old displays of things past, the wall of bottles were delightful to see and the skiing room was very informative, so many skiing champs! The information on our past about mining was fascinating and the rock samples just great, I enjoy looking at all the rocks from Earth and how beautiful they are, polished or not. There was just so much to see inside and out, it was very well done and educational, thank you! ????

Rod Koenig

Small but very fascinating

Brian Gruss

Friendly service nice collection

Had a fun outing at one of their events. The museum itself wasn't that kid friendly but the kids event going on made up for that, I've noticed they do allot of fun kids events and can't wait to go back

Fascinating history of the gold rush and machines used to extract it. Unfortunately with the snow I was unable to visit the hand built replica village and for some reason the highways maintenance crew has piled most of the snow in front of the only map of the area making it a mountain climbing excursion just to read it!! C'mon guys this is an info center why pile all your snow in front of the only tourist map in the parking lot?

LANMonkey GC

A very well thought out centre with informed and interesting staff to answer your questions. We stopped for I formation about the mining history but enjoyed the many other exhibits available. If your interests range from history, geology, farming, journalism, and many other subjects, there is likely something here for you. We enjoyed our stop and recommend you do also. The machinery outside was also fascinating to learn about.

Nice museum about mining around the 1960s, but the mines are not only closed for tours, but also collapsed. Tours twice a day.
