Had to go to the hospital here around 4-5am, because I had what I believed was an ear infection that was causing me to be in so much pain I couldn’t sleep, I’m from out of province and was on vacation so I don’t know if that had to do with how I was treated, the nurse didn’t wanna call in the doctor on call just for an “ear ache” and don’t get me wrong she made us as comfortable as she could even checked my ear out to see how inflamed it was and said it looked “red and goopy”. we waited for the doctor to come in (2hr wait) and did the best she could, so I’m not upset with her at all but the doctor on call once she finally got there looked in my ear for not even a secs and then said “I don’t see anything wrong” I was really in impressed and felt like she thought I was making it up. Honestly don’t come here if you’re in pain and out of province because they’ll just discredit everything and send you on your way.

This is a place whereas you need a stitch or 2 you will get it and if you are lucky a baby aspirin but we are told if it is serious you will be transferred to Trail or Kelowna. If you have a script from a Doctor elsewhere for opiates and you have run out and have no local Doctor here do not expect them to help they will not even bother to see you if they know you are looking for that. Maybe this might speed up the emerge ward hopefully the junkies have phones and can stay out of there and not waste their time. If you do end up in pain in GF better go to your Drug store and buy your preference. That is their policy Good Luck

They always have me in and out fairly quickly and the nurses and doctors have been so kind and understanding. I am so so grateful for the services I have received here.

Came in for a xray of my finger as i had an accident working on my sled, they told me to in in the morning, they took my xray at 9am. Got that done then the main xray computer was having issues, had to use another laptop

We recently had to go to emerge in Grand Forks and experienced wonderful, friendly staff at the front end, caring and informative nurses in the triage and ER, and a wonderful Doctor (Dr Campbell) who helped immensely. I’m am back on the road to recovery thanks to their team!

Reception very rude! Tried to call to book lab appointment in Midway and was told not to call that early they were to busy!

it took 5 weeks to book a blood test at this hospital,totally unacceptable
