DESCRIPTION

Here you will see the opinions of real people who used the services and products of Prince George Urgent and Primary Care Centre (Hospital) in the area close to Prince George (Canada).

Now the firm has a score of 2.1 stars over 5 and the rating has been calculated on 15 reviews.

As you can see its rating is low, and it's founded on a large number of scores, so we can be pretty sure that the score is very credible. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well with the service, is that it works.

As you know, we do not usually stop to write reviews when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...

This Hospital is included in the category of Urgent care center.

Urgent care seems like a great option for a knee injury, waste of time! Go to your family doctor! Urgent care is not there for that apparently!

Reception staff were good. The doctor I saw(didn’t introduce himself) was not. Very dismissive, made his diagnosis in seconds without asking questions and was quick to write a prescription I didn’t need or ask for, and send me on my way...

Rushed, dismissed and told it was just anxiety. Was not properly tested for the thing I was concerned for. Dr I saw was not knowledgeable at all.

An excellent care centre that doesn't get enough credit for the service they provide. I've had the unfortunate need to see a doctor four times over the last six months and can say that each time staff were caring, efficient, and motivated to help people. My doctor, who I have had the luck of seeing every single time, was genuinely interested in solving the core issue and provided plenty of time for questions to clarify medication, dosage, and procedure. I never felt rushed through the process. There can be a lot of discontent with wait times, however, if you are able to, I'd highly suggest timing your visit with some of their slower times noted on Google Maps. 5pm seems to work best for me as I have been able to get in and out within an hour on a few occasions. Other times I have had to wait over two hours. Given the overall state of healthcare, particularly with overworked staff during the last two years of a global pandemic, they are doing wonders over there.

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Willing to answer any questions and send you for further testing if needed. Listens to all symptoms and components.

Worst clinic in Prince George wanted me to wait outside in the parking lot with my autistic child because they couldn't keep us in the waiting room even though there are open seats nice to see that they care about their disabled patience. My son is 3 nonverbal in most situations he doesn't understand the dangers of cars and they wanted us to wait outside will never be back

I'm actually quit blowing away that a doctor at this clinic would refuse a patient a referral note to get the help that their asking for, for depression, PTSD and anxiety. Even after the patient explains how hard it was for them to come in to ask for this and how much they don't like appointments to begin with.

Never again. The woman on the desk today - June 18, 2021, 10:30 am is beyond rude, childish and miserable. This is not the first time I’ve witnessed her appalling attitude and behaviour but it is the first time it’s been directed at me. I’ve filed a formal complaint and I hope this issue is addressed for the PG community.

the doctors don't care what the real problem is or check you just give a medication for symptoms

Went in with two issues. Doctor addressed the minor issue and dismissed me when I told him my doctor had recommendations 7 more days of antibiotics for a very painful situation but I wouldn't be able to get in to see my doctor due to the holidays. Went to Superstore and the doctor there addressed the issue immediately.

Never had a problem here, open when the website says they are, and generally very fast. Always receive friendly knowledgeable care and support

The doctors are great and I would definitely recommend them. However, the reception staff on the other hand is not. I’m 26 weeks pregnant with my first child & I have been experiencing soreness in my lower back. I work as an early childhood educator, meaning that I am on my feet 95% of the time at work. The soreness has progressively gotten worse over the week & in order to get the rest I need & to be out of work, I need a doctor’s note. Dr. O’Malley is aware about my workplace requiring a doctor’s note & told me that if I ever needed one that I could always just call in and pick up the note at the front desk. I had to do this previously during the heat wave & it was done with no problem at all. The lady I spoke to on the phone today told me that there’s no way I could speak to a doctor & I wouldn’t be getting a doctors note because there’s just no time. I informed her about what Dr. O’Malley had told me & told her that I would be on my feet all day in pain & discomfort if I didn’t get a note. I told her I had been trying to get in touch with them since 8am & kept getting sent to voicemail. As I explained to her, all I needed was to speak to a doctor to write me a note & I would come to pick it up. It would take no longer than 5 minutes of the day. Instead of caring about a patient who is pregnant, obviously in need of help & not sure what to do, this lady told me I just needed to figure it out, go to a walk-in or try again tomorrow. What’s the point of having a family doctor if you can’t have access to them when you truly need them? Scares me how easily I was just shrugged off.
