Made an appointment to neuter my pup, came by and was told it was cancelled. They said they had called my mum in law who made the appointment but many phone companies were down and hers was one of them so she did not receive the call. You'd think if you can't reach a client about a cancellation your next step would be to email them, but it wasn't. So now poor pup is hopped up on drugs and scared for nothing and will have to do it again.

I drive from NOTL to bring my dog Charlotte to Dr. Locking. She is an amazing, kind hearted veterinarian. My Charlotte doesn’t love everyone, but she loves Destiny!! The staff are also amazing at Port Colborne Animal Hospital. During such a difficult time, having to modify the way they do things, they are still on their game! I am thankful to have such a wonderful place to take care of my dog Charlotte!

We've been here twice now at the new location and both times the staff have been amazing! First our dog had to have a tooth extracted and they wasted no time getting us where we needed to be so she could have her surgery. The second time was for our new kitten with a malformation. The vet was so sweet and compassionate when she told us the bad news and after we had gotten home she even called with another option for us to consider. We are so happy to find a great clinic close by for our pets needs!

Yesterday it was necessary to have my 16 year old cat euthanized due to a prolonged illness. Not only were the staff amazing but Dr. Saxon-Buri (Sharon) took such great care of Calley during his illness and advised me during this time of need I will forever be grateful. Knowledge and compassion along with friendliness make this a top notch veterinary clinic. Thank you again for helping Calley have a peaceful passing.

I was not there for a happy event as unfortunately I had to have my 14-year-old dog put down. That being said they were so wonderful there I have no words to describe it. They were full of compassion and care and took very good care of our doggo.. I'm so thankful we have them here in Port Colborne. I also have had her here before and they're great at keeping dogs healthy too

If you are planning a visit to this clinic, be warned that their prices are unjustifiably high. Dr. Locking is an amazing vet. The support staff and technicians are usually very helpful but can sometimes be pushy and incredibly rude. I would not recommend the clinic, purely because there are many clinics in the area that offer the very same quality of care for your pets at a much more reasonable cost.

After 2 years being with this clinic, I've decided to take my German Shepherd to another vet in the area. I question the ethics and morals of a clinic who quickly takes $137 with absolutely no treatment and sends her out the door with a plan to come back with a urine sample. I said from the start that my dog has a UTI and requires antibiotics. After another $63 for a urine analysis, I received a call advising me that I was correct and to come in for the $100 antibiotics with advice to come back after 10 days for another $40 test and maybe a $160 culture. Seriously, I diagnosed my pet without a degree. Here is a thought how about getting the antibiotics into the dog so she can stop suffering ..... if by some rare occurence it isnt a UTI we will investigate further. I'm moving on based on my 2 year experience with your clinic where I have spent thousands. I hear from horse owners that there a few vets in the area that treat the animal at very reasonable costs. I like to think you pay for what you get but your clinic is outrageously expensive!

I was in an absolute panic about my cat having breathing issues and I called and they got me an appointment to come in the same day. The staff are always friendly and professional and you can tell they all really love animals. The Veterinarian laid out a treatment plan with me so I knew exactly what to expect for the cost of the visit. I know that when I bring my animals here they will receive excellent care.

Very caring staff. Knowledgeable and through. We recently had two of our pets reach the end of their lives and this hospital staff did a fantastic job caring for our pets while being considerate of us as well. They never push you into extra tests which are admittedly expensive. DR. Saxon Buri is such a caring person, she did her best to help our pets and when it came time to say goodbye to them ( two older cats), you could feel her empathy and see that it was real. She even remembers previous pets we have had over the years. I can't say enough about how good we feel about having brought our pets here for care.

I switched to this clinic a couple of years ago when I couldn't get into my regular one. I can't say enough about how wonderful everyone is with my cats and my dog. I was shocked to receive a letter from the Ontario veterinary college. The staff here at this clinic made a donation in memory of my 14 yr old girl golden retriever who just passed away.

Used to bring my dog to this veterinarian. They find literally every single thing your pet doesn't need to try to charge $. My dog stopped eating and I chose to bring her to a different vet. This vet won't return my messages or emails and won't provide me with my dogs records. They don't care about your pet just your money!

It was time to take Leroy in for his shots and checkup. We chose Port Colborne Animal Hospital. Needless to say we are extremely disappointed in their nature and responsiveness. We expected the visit to be routine and successful. However, Leroy is not the same at all. He seems like he is in pain all the time now. We contacted the vet and they said to give it a few weeks, offering pain killers as a temporary solution. Well, nothing has changed. They were supposed to follow up with us and a week has passed by with no call. Long story short....Leroy has not improved at all and was energetic and healthy before his visit to the Port Colborne Animal Hospital. I would never recommend anyone take their pet there. Even our groomer was shocked in Leroys status saying he seems like he’s in pain now. We are taking him somewhere else because we have to get our Leroy back to normal.

This clinic cares more about pushing unnecessary products and making a quick buck then they do about our pets. I have had 2 issues with my cats and both times was told to go to emergency which we all know is outrageously expensive. Why have a vet if they won't help when you need them.i called another vet who was willing to see my cat right away. . The receptionist didn't seem to care at all that they just lost 3 pets as clients . Do not make the mistake I did . Do not take your pet here !
