This was the most incredible walk in clinic experience I walked in (after spending 20 mins at the Morrison st. Clinic and not even being spoke to) I walked right up to the counter the girl registered me and handed me a new patient form to fill out, before completing the form they had me in a room and before the nurse left the room the Dr. Walked in. I'm not very happy with my experience here. It was very hard to make an appointment, as this is where my family doctor works. I called multiple times on multiple days and it took about 3 days for someone to answer the phone. I went in for my appointment asking about one thing and was not treated for it! I was asked a few questions by the doctor (who was not my family doctor), he took my blood pressure and did a temperature check, which inaccurately read that I had a fever due to how hot it was in the building. He told me I to get checked for covid and I left with no answers! I do not have a fever, nor do I have any covid symptoms. I even checked my temperature when I got home multiple times and it read normal for each of them. The doctor was very unhelpful and I'm disappointed by this experience.

Not enough room for strollers when there are lots of people in the waiting area (cramped, no chance Covid protocol is followed as not a single chair was wiped in between use???). Rude, inconsiderate receptionist with tiny drawn on eye brows had zero respect for a tired mom with a sick baby trying to keep him quiet by walking up and down the hall. Apparently I was “blocking the hallway”. The individual had just been called down the hallway (still at least 4 metres away) and I was getting to the side when I was told that I was blocking it. Actually laughable. As I’m sure if I was in the other woman’s way she would have politely asked me To move… some people just need to be heard I guess. Absolutely uncalled for. I guess she woke up on the wrong side of the bed. If we are concerned about “blocking” things she should have had the utmost respect as I was trying to get out of the way of others attempting to enter the building. Overall waiting room is a fire hazard, the receptionist was a stuck up jerk and the doctor was a sweetheart.

I’ve been going to this clinic for the past 3 years now and I have always felt welcomed by Kelly and Valerie at the front desk. The past few visits were a nightmare as the new receptionist Dharma is rude to the point that we are thinking of changing our clinic. She’s not helpful at all and unprofessional. If the clinic doesn’t give her some kind of feedback, they are going to lose patients. I can assure you I’m not the only one she has made feel unwelcome. A couple of my friends feel the same about her. She’s the only reason I’m giving 1 star.

Very frustrated with this clinic. They do not respect their patients. The owner and his staff treated me very badly. I showed up on my appointment which they claimed that It was not entered correctly in their system. The owner came to talk to me and said he can switch doctors as needed and the appointments are not made with specific doctors. We should all try to file a legal action against this clinic. This should go to media as well. Who is supporting this??????

This place is a joke. I showed up with a wound to my thumb and was told to fill out a 3 page questioner with name, email, phone number, medical history as well as the standard covid 19 questions. I was in alot of pain and had a headache and some fatique from not sleeping as mu wound didn't just happen. Its all caused from an infection and because of my honest answers the receptionist informed me I was disqualified from seeing a doctor and would have to do it over the phone because of covid 19 protocols. "Thanks for nothing" I told her my headache was from my thumb not covid 19. She informed me that because I said I had a headache I couldn't be seen. I guess with this logic you can't take your car to a shop for repairs if it's broken. I will never return to this clinic all I wanted was a tetanus shot or a professional opinion instead I got refused service and told to leave. I am sure they billed the health care system for my inconvenience. What the hell do we have so called doctors for. And reading some of the reviews this is definitely a non professional place.

Service was good and doctor efficient. However, the female staff (3 of them) were completely walking around the clinic with NO masks on!! The entire time I was there !! They didn't mask behind the plexi glass in the reception area or in the halls and I saw 3 people standing in one of the rooms at the door of the hallway, female no mask at all. That is unacceptable. One of the receptionist came and was talking to me when she put me in the room. As she spoke to me she took her mask down to talk from about 2-3 feet away from me !! ( she was nice but should not have lowered her mask!) If your in a med clinic and cant mask then you should not be working !!

I been visiting this place for the past 3 years, honestly I have never experience worse service than the clinic offers, I had a car accident last year, every time I went there to ask for a serious back pain that I been feeling after that, they simply did not give me an answer, Dr Makendy is a bad Doctor the time I wnt to the clinic and he saw me, his answer always was, that's nothing, that's not important to me.

We booked an appointment for my son's 1 year vaccination and I was told that I will be seeing Dr. Trevor. We said yes based on his reviews online. However, we saw Dr. Mbuyi instead. This was one of the worst experience you can imagine. There was no introductions made by him, he seemed the least interested in knowing what needs to be done and I almost felt that he just woke up and entered the room. I think he needs to work on his communications which are a key in this profession. When asked about the change from Dr. Trevor to Dr. Mbuyi, the receptionist told that Dr. Trevor is unavailable (although I was told that he will be in that day) and that I can cancel my appointment or go to a different clinic. That shows how least interested these receptionists are in their job and community care. Furthermore, I was later informed that Mr. Trevor is not a doctor, he is a physician and cannot see child patients below 5 years of age. Now that is one heck of a thing. How can the receptionist not know that they don't have Dr. Trevor, but he is a physician and they booked him to provide vaccinations to my son. I would say that I felt like walking out of the clinic the moment all of this happened, but we are new to Niagara Falls and had a difficult time finding a doctor, so we decided to stick this time. I would ask people to eat an apple a day to keep the doctor away.

Absolutely disgusting service. What's the point of being a patient when they treat us like walk in. They dont answer the phone, I had to come in to book an appointment. Yet the woman in front said "we dont check voicemail anymore because we are so busy" Literally for 3 days in a row I tried to call 15 times a day and it didnt go through. I posted a review today of my pathetic experience. It is under Cosas Niagara. I experienced first hand today being threatened by VALERIE the secretary to be removed by police. Her attitude doesn't justify professionalism. My question to Medcare Clinics, is after reading multiple negative reviews of your clinic and staff. Why hasn't anything been done? Patients are still being ABUSED! I felt helpless not being able to speak out for other patients when they were treated with so much disrespect.

There is one doctor. One. He's so overwhelmed! Don't hate him because he's busy! The staff books 'appointments' but it is a clinic, so expect a short wait. It free public healthcare, they can only cater to us so much. They have a clean clinic and even a TV. Whenever I go I'm seen shortly, the assistants are pleasant and Dr.B is a sweet heart. I'm never left wanting or in question. Staff are bombarded everyday with people who are new to the system and have zero ID or language skills. They're doing the best they can, try to be nice to support staff!

Good, clean, modern clinic. High potential. But they’re definitely short staffed or maybe they’re keeping their staff tight. Their phone is always ringing. No one is answering because the receptionist is busy changing rooms. They’re in a vicious cycle where i feel their revenue is low because there isn’t people coming and the people aren’t coming because their front desk service is terrible. If they hire more staff they’re be better. I kind of want to give it a 2 start but their doctors are good.

I am student here, Today, I went there and I did wait for receptionist almost 20 minutes for my registration and when she came and I just asked about my Guard me from receptionist that you guys are cover guard me she behaved with me very roudly, it was my very bad experience in canada ever. Terrible service. My husband's hearing impairment due to wax build up was so bad he needed them flushed. He was denied a simple solution. He was told he needed drops then to come back in two weeks. A flush always works immediately and he actually needs to hear in the next two weeks. What a waste of time. No other clinic has denied a simple flush over the years. Terrible. An added note, we called before going there and asked if they could flush his ears and they said yes, no problem.

My family and I have been coming here since the clinic on valley way closed and until today, I was super happy with the clinic. We have seen several doctors/physicians assistants and have been more than satisfied with the service and the ladies at the reception are always polite and nice. Today I came in and saw a different doctor (I didn't get her name but she's a black lady doctor). I came in because I have developed skin tags on my neck and was concerned because I didn't know what was causing them. Her response was "what do you want me to do? This is a walk-in clinic not a dermatologist". (her exact words). I was shocked! I politely explained to her that i was hoping to get some information on what may be causing them and if she didn't feel she could handle it then a referral to a dermatologist would be helpful. She then went on to tell me, in a very condescending tone that skin tags just appear and there is no underlying cause and I can choose to have them removed or not. I walked out feeling upset and shocked at her attitude and response. As a patient I expect a doctor to show patience and understanding and take time to explain an issue to me because just the fact that am there shows that it's an issue of concern to me. Very disappointed. I however gave the clinic a 3 star because my past experience has been positive and I hope this is a one off incident.

After that, I called so many times and one person told me that will get back to me. How long do I need to wait for that? Missed a hernia diagnosis, even after I told them it could be that the very first visit. With the state it was left I could have been very badly hurt. Then they proceeded to fill out the WSIB paperwork incorrectly compromising my claim. Clearly this practice needs some practice. Do not recommend

This one is close to my home so I really need to go there. You can get minimal service quality here - just good enough for the lack of nothing better. Though the clinic says it’s open till 8, they wouldn’t take any patients after 6 pm. Front desk staff is highly discourteous. I have witnessed them turning away sick people at discretion of front desk people for no obvious reason. Doc li ordered by lab tests and despite visiting the clinic 3 times, I did not get the diagnosis- on 1st follow up visit t(5 days after the lab tests) the front desk rep sent me back saying they will contact me when results are ready - on 2nd follow up visit I was again turned away because they could not review and need me to wait for a call or come again later Needs to improve their services and need some serious admin oversight -I hope someone reads and tries to bring some improvements

I have been to this clinic a couple times as soon as they open and the wait time is negligible. Both times I was seen by the PA Ahmad who was fantastic, caring, thorough and extremely accurate with diagnosis and treatment. The pharmacists are also amazing and go above and beyond to help out. Not sure why this clinic has such bad reviews, I go to a clinic to get great medical assistance not a warm treatment (I have family and friends for that). I guess the receptionists can be cold, but again that’s not what I am there for. Hope this helps inform your decision ????

It is one of the worst clinic experiences. It seems like they don't have a real doctor in this clinic. every time we visit a different assistant takes care of us. And the real doctor does not even reside in Canada. He works in the USA. The receptionists are terrible. They never have eye contact with the patients and always talk with ordering words and tone. I came here as walk in. Wait times is 1 hr at the lounge area. Then another 2 hrs in the room. If you are willing to wait go ahead. Also the receptionist showed no concern at all. I have to leave because wait time is more than walmart or morrison walk in clinic or more than my family doctor. I was thinking if i was in the emergency because it was really waaaaayyyy tooooo looong. With take note no people in the lounge just me. What was that? Is that service?

Great place, very clean, quick service. I've only been attending for a short time and I'm quite pleased with them. The Dr I see regularly is great and very professional. They have a blood lab on-site which is also phenomenal. I just wish they would answer the phone more often. I've spent days where I call in many times throughout the morning and afternoon and it's never answered. There was, I think, one day where the phone was answered. (I've been calling to confirm the lab's open hours but can't seem to get through, it goes to a recorded message asking to call back in 15 mins. I've also tried calling the lab's 800# but they're not better, cannot get an answer with them either).

Came in with expired health card. Offered to pay the 105$ no problem but needed soemthing saying I would get my money back. Receptionist was ignorant and rude getting loud. I'm from out of town, and I had to bring my daughter in because she was coughing like crazy all night long and couldn't sleep. She was afraid of the doctor and puked in his office. However. Dr. Ahmed did a great job with his diagnoses and wasn't disgusted at all at what happened. He was very calm and friendly. We called ahead of time didn't have to wait much since we were there early. Honestly after reading some of the reviews I was hesitant to go to this walking clinic however it was the closest one that is open to where I live The front reception staff were on point they were quick and detailed The wait time was about 20 minutes the doctor was extremely professional Curtis And got me on the right medication and out the door within about 15 minutes I would definitely recommend this walking clinic and if needed I will return

A difficult review for me to write. My experience here was pretty good. The staff were kind although the doctor was very 'get to the point' in his attitude. I was ready to write a 5-star review. Then, when I came to write this review, I saw the way your organization has responded to individuals who have been unhappy with how they've been treated here. Look at the 1-star reviews on this page for examples. You belittle. You argue. You bully. Instead of listening and improving - even if you didn't want to make it right or even apologize - you respond with argumentative insults. It really says a lot about the way you treat people. I'm not sure I feel comfortable going back based off how you treat others, even when my experience was an overall positive one. It isn't right.

Fairly short wait time (6 pm on a Friday), and the receptionist was super nice. Doctor was very helpful and took a good amount of time with the appointment to make sure he asked all the questions he needed to. Very friendly and clearly cares a lot about his patients.

The office will not see a toddler or infant if they have a cough... what is the point in a walk in clinic if you won't see the patients in need to see a doctor? Especially when they can't get in to see their family doctor that day?They stated to me oh well we can have the doctor call you. How is that going to help to see if my infant has pneumonia? You can't hear the way they breath over the phone. Absolutely ridiculous. I wont be back again.

My experience at this clinic was by far GREAT! I love how this clinic has a pharmacy inside with them for easy prescription pickup. The front line receptionists are soooo friendly and welcoming. The providers working are very educated and willing to assist in finding resolutions to health issues.

Long wait time with no one there. Doctor is young and Google's all your symptoms . Informed him of a fever and swollen glands he did not check my temperature, my ears or nose. He was not able to give me eye contact after I questions his answers . Also coming in to the room with his cell phone does not make women feel comfortable. Horrible for a new business

Don't waste your time going to this clinic. The receptionist was very cold and unfriendly. Made us feel very unwelcome. The doctor laughed at the fact my daughter has issues swallowing pills. What "professional" does that. Plus they send your prescription to a pharmacy without your permission.

THEY DO NOT HAVE REAL DOCTORS IN HERE. LOOK AT ALL THE REVIEWS BELOW AND BELIEVE THEM. THE PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT WAS UPSET BECAUSE I ASKED WHERE THE DOCTOR WAS. SHE CAME IN THE ROOM WITH A BAD ATTITUDE AND SAID SHE IS NOT COMFORTABLE SEEING ME BECAUSE I ASKED WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PA AND A DOCTOR. Today I had the worst and most pathetic experience at this clinic . The clinic closes at 8 pm and since I got there at 8;45 with my 85 year old mother who is handicap and disabled the receptionist refused to accept her . She was complaining of a urinary tract infection. This clinic has no consideration at all , inspite of me requesting them they sent us back . Whoever the doctor was could have just spared 5 min to see an old disabled lady ...but no.He has disobeyed his Hippocrates Oath of serving and taking care of the sick and I am sure God is watching him and his doings. I am ashamed to even call him a doctor , a man that has no consideration . I totally believe in karma and so it will come around at some point in time. God save us from such doctors

He told me to give her benadryl and to comeback in two days. Later i took her to another doctor and at first glence he told me she has hand foot mouth disease, which is very common for kids. It is so scary to know that he has no clue about this common rash and that he is googling diagnosis.

Stopped in with my daughter one afternoon. Receptionist was quite friendly. Only 2 people ahead of me which was awesome. Unfortunately after the first patient was seen, skip the dishes arrived and everyone, including front desk and apparently the physicians assistant went to eat. I'm all for taking breaks regularly but I don't think they all needed to all go at the same time. It was 3:30 pm. I worked in Healthcare my whole life and this would never be allowed. go. We sat for approximately 35 - 40 minutes . Although my visit wasn't an emergency, a baby with a fever had to wait as well which is unfortuneate. several patients came and left because there were no staff. I will not be back, and don't recommend such an unprofessional office.

horrible place! My husband went a few weeks ago in severe pain and difficulties walking and moving. Sent him home with ear drops (nothing for the pain!), when those ran out he went back because nothing had changed, doctor tells him to go for blood work and gave him more ear drops. Have been waiting for phone call a whole week later about the results, he could barely walk this morning, went to ER and they admitted him right away and couldn't beleive how careless the doctor at this clinic was! He was a perfectly healthy loving father of 3 little boys and he got absolutely zero help from this place, no concern, sympathy or care for there patient. Peoples lives matter! Our family would of been seriously devastated had something happened to him due to your carelessness! If there is negative i will rate it. Tye waiting times is bad. Make sure you are prepared to wair for more than 2 hrs. I came in today for a skin infection and it took the doctor 2hrs to see me. Take note... not busy and no people waiting in the lounge area.

Recently switched from my family doctor to Dr. Trevor at MedCare @ Niagara Square. From the beginning, the staff at the clinic were very professional, organized and welcoming. Dr. Trevor was very knowledgeable and was able to assist with a very complicated health crisis. Short wait times, yet he spent the needed time helping me. Very good clinic and doctors. I took my 2 year old son who was crying his eyes out because he accidentally hold on to the hot iron to this walk-in clinic at 6.40 PM . So the nurse comes out and says that Doctor does not want to take any more patients . The Clinic had no other patients and it was not busy at all . Doctor SABA MOHSIN came out from one of the room and saw My son crying from far and went back in . I was really disappointed to see that there is no humanity left at all . Doctors are suppose to help people especially kids. That’s there job . I really hope that Dr. Saba reads this message and can explain why she would do that to a 2 year old crying kid .

We arrived at 8:30pm and the clinic closes at 9pm. Upon our arrival we were turned away because they said they were at "capacity". There was only 5 people and plenty of chairs available. if you do not want patients to come in past a certain time then lock your doors and state somewhere on your website that you do not accept patients past a certain time.if your closing time is 9 and a patient walked in at 8:59 then you should be taking in the patient.

If you need a doctor I suppose you could walk in and not die. The doctors seem competent and kind and the staff is quite nice but the system is super flawed. As a patient, I book a phone appointment and no one calls. If you try to call, no one answers and their message machine is always too full to record new messages. If you call even a minute after hours you are patched through to a Welland location where the recorded voice tells you not to leave a message because no one checks it - literally says no one checks it. Why bother setting it up at all. And this is where it gets weird...the Medcare website lists an email that does not exist. The only listed way to contact the establishment is through a feedback page and it won't send, it will never send. 23 calls later and 2 weeks later and nada. All for a prescription folks.

Ever since we moved to Niagara, we have been using your clinic. I must say the new receptionist Dharma would probably make us change our decision. My sister-in-law and I had been there a few weeks ago and the way she treated us made us feel really bad. She was unbelievably impolite and I would suggest you hire people who treat others with some respect. I see from the previous reviews that a lot of people have issues with your receptionists, but apparently you don’t care!

First time going to this clinic.I was reluctant to go at first due to high wait times.When I arrived I was impressed with how clean the clinic was and the overall atmosphere of the clinic upon arrival. The receptionist was very pleasant and was concerned that I may be late for work . When I met with doctor she was able to diagnose the issue quickly and went over with me the different options for treatment.The overall time that i was there from meeting with doctor was about 1 hour and that was from walking in the door,seeing the doctor and having prescription filled.I live in Welland and will definitely be going back if needed. Highly recommended, fast friendly,courteous staff

We sat down in the waiting room and there was only one person other than us but somehow we had to wait almost an hour. Took my step-daughter to see the doctor. They faxed her prescription to the pharmacy next door without my permission. I asked for it at the front desk and they said it was already sent to pharmacy directly. This is against the law and I have already submitted a complaint to the college of physicians and college of pharmacists. They shared private medical information to the pharmacy without my permission. If this happened to you I suggest you also complain. This doctor is definitely getting kickbacks from the pharmacy. Addendum: actually the pharmacist is NOT in the circle of care until I give permission. I have confirmed this with CPSO. You do not have permission to just fax prescriptions to a pharmacy of YOUR choice. That is my RIGHT.

The doctors and the practitioners are great. Very thorough. Most of the receptionists are nice as well. But there is one receptionist at this location who is extremely rude. I called to inquire about a certain test and I didn't know it came in 2 steps because the last time I had the test done there was no 2 steps. Then my cousin and I came into the clinic to ask about the 2 step test. And she was extremely rude. She was talking down to us. I almost wanted to go to another clinic but since I am a patient here I stay here. But if her rudeness continues I will go somewhere else.

I live in Niagara Falls, Ontario and just saw you opened up a Clinic in our city within the past few weeks. I called to see if they were accepting new patients as my common-law partner and I are trying to find a family physician. My partner suffers from chronic pain and is prescribed narcotics, anti-seizure medications, and antidepressants. I was told by the person on the phone that you do not have anyone there to prescribe controlled substances, sleeping medications, nor antidepressants, and would have to either not accept her as a patient and/or refer out. While I recognize there are government regulations in place preventing PAs from prescribing these medications, there is no similar regulation in place for NPs nor the overseeing family physician. Your organization is openly picking and choosing who gets to receive healthcare and who does not. Anyone with chronic pain, mental health struggles such as depression, insomnia, or anyone who is already on these medications are not welcome at your clinic. I am writing an email to the Health Minister notifying them of this, the College of Physicians and Surgeons, as well as my local MP.

1) Never saw a real doctor in both of my visits — only seen by physician assistants, although the physician assistants seem professional and courteous enough. So are you really getting the same level of care expected from a MD? 2) The receptionist behaves like she’s attending a funeral or you owed her a million dollars: stone cold, bad tempered and rude. Not a single word of greeting or a shred of friendliness. A robot would have felt warmer and friendlier than her. 3) The only redeeming quality of this clinic is that it is pretty fast: I was seen by the physician assistants within 40 minutes of stepping through the door in both occasions.

At this new walk in clinic yesterday morning. The receptionist was very friendly and greeted me upon arrival. I was there for sore throat, swollen glands and a cold sore. The wait time was short. Dr. Rachel was extremely knowledgeable and examined my ears, throat and glands. She was very cautious to prescribe medication due to my many medication allergies. I was impressed with the amount of time she spent discussing my current medications. Yes, a prescription was faxed to the pharmacy on site unfortunately they were unable to fill it, it was for a cream and the pharmacist apologized and was very polite. It would have saved me from driving to Ft. Erie to my regular pharmacy. I will definitely return to this clinic if needed in the future.

This is the worst doctor’s office I have ever been to in my life. Two and a half years ago, I went in with extreme body pain, a fever that wouldn’t break, bruises on my hands, and weakness/dizziness that prevented me from doing anything. And while I knew in my body something was wrong, I was told I have the flu so I could be sent off. When I told the doctor (I think his name was Dr. Mbuyi) that this was absolutely not the flu and needed a doctor’s note for work, he refused and walked out of the office. He also denied me results for my own ultrasounds from the St. Catharines General Hospital, which were forwarded to him. The next time I went in, I requested a female doctor, who was also incredibly dismissive and condescending the entire appointment. After that terrible experience, I told myself I would not go back there. Two and a half years later, I’m in a position of needing a referral for something but really didn’t want to go in there. Plus, I’m in discomfort and physically can’t make it into their office. Lucky for me, a Covid world has online phone appointments so I asked to be added onto the list. I have no issues with wait times and I understand the healthcare system is extremely overloaded right now. But it had been over 6 hours since I called and got put on the list, so naturally I called back again to just ask if I would still be receiving a call today. The receptionist was incredibly rude, did not offer me any information, and then hung up. The phone call could not have been longer than 40 seconds. There is zero sense of patient care and empathy at this place, and it is so incredibly hurtful to be in pain and trying to make the effort to find support for your health and constantly being dismissed and invalidated. I seriously don’t understand why people go into healthcare if they don’t even like people. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

She was professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic both on the telephone, and during our face to face visit. The clinic was clean, and the staff were all professional and friendly. Literally one of the WORST CLINICS I have EVER been to. I have absolutely no idea how someone can call 10 times throughout the day and NOT ONCE will someone pick up. NOT ONCE. The phone never gets picked up, you want to book an appointment? you better have a car cause you aint booking one on the phone. you want to reschedule an appointment? you better have a car cause you aint booking one over the phone. NEXT up, when I go in for a simple appointment takes an hour and a half which I understand but how is someone NEVER AT THE FRONT???? there was once this 70 year old who came in waiting in front of the desk over 20 min and no one came to the front to help him it was pretty upsetting, he even looked around and asked if anyone worked here and there was another patient sitting down and he answered the elderly with "no, no one works here. this is the worst clinic ever" I hate that I have to come here, there are wonderful people working here, don't get me wrong its just the SERVICE IS AWFUL how is the phone never picked up? still blows my mind. nice doctors and receptionist tho!

Went with my father-in-law last week and we had to wait 20 minutes. My father has a lot wrong with him and we've seen many many doctors in the past 5 years. I've never met anyone as impressive as Dr. Rachel. His former family doctor never took the time to listen to him - brushed him off for being "old and overweight." She was very through - did a complete physical exam in 10 minutes and actually took his complaints seriously. She prescribed a medication that has improved his symptoms by 80% in 2 weeks...we are a family that is skeptical about doctors after all he has been throgh, but she humbled us and made us feel very grateful. God bless
