This Hospital is classified in the category of General hospital.
I went there tonight with a dental emergency. Mind you at this point I hadn't signed anything to give consent to access my medical information, or to treat me . The "Dr" came in and immediately was snarky, and started asking me prior medical questions of mine that were totally unnecessary, and irrelevant. Keep in mind no consent was signed for him to even gave knowledge of this information. He then proceeded to interrogate me about the questions, and the answers I was giving him to the questions. All in all he was treating me as a drug addict that was there seeking pain medication. When in reality I haven't touched a pain pill of any sort in 4 years, and don't plan to. I went there with the fear of infection from the tooth running through my system as I am a mother of a 2 year old who needs his mommy well. No dentist is open on a Sunday, or i wouldn't be in an ER. Needless to say it was a complete waste of time, gas, and aggravation. On top of the unprofessional "Dr", the hospital is a run down dump. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, STAY FAR AWAY
I have a kidney stone so I went to the emergency of degraff hospital at 1 am untill 5:30 am on 3/23/2021 i had the worst treatment from the doctor who was there i was in pain because i have a kidney stone moving and the pain was 20/10 i was dying because of the pain and they let me wait 2 or 3 hours with pain i was begging them to give me some pain killer or any thing reduce the pain and the doctor saw me I told him please doctor can you hurry up the pain killing me I can't take it anymore he respond with don't tell us to hurry up okay!! this is rude by the way I swear to god my intention wasn't to be rude or disrespectful i was in pain and when he told me that and left me with pain for 2 hours make feel disappointed and angry this is the first time happened to me and the worse treatment I got from the doctor by the way the nurse was really nice and helpful .
My daughter was treated with respect and kindness.
Staff is awesome & welcoming, & u never have to wait real long in waiting room, only place I will go or my daughter ...keep up the good work
i Love this Hospital Nurses are super Nice and Doctors are very Nice and helpful. The rooms are clean the whole building is clean. I recommended going here.
The staff was friendly and efficient and the visit was fast!
nice people. fast service.
Amazing people! The hospital very clean ! The nurse so friendly ... I’m the doctor so nice ...
Horrible staff broke hippa laws the whole time i was there. nasty and judgemental also making fun of patients including myself. a elder man kept falling on his face bleeding and they were annoyed yet wouldnt do what they are supposed to do they couldnr be bothered. it was one if the worst experiances of my life. Shut it down.
It's everything you want in trust of your care, Excellent experience!!!
I do not understand why all the hospitals are rated so badly. Please make constructive criticism everybody.
My daughter cut her leg badly on broken glass and they took us back before we even sat down. They did x-rays (to make sure there were no shards of glass in her) and then stitched her up. They gave her a teddy bear for comfort and a freezer pop when it was over. My daughter was very standoffish because she was scared, but the hospital staff were all very sweet to her anyway. To the doctor who kept asking her what she named the bear (in order to distract her from the stitching), she named it Ted Berry and she loves it! Thanks so much, but hopefully we wont be back any time soon. No offense!
I only give one star for the volunteer at the desk. Other wise do not go there, drive the 2 miles to Kenmore. You will get 100% better service. They are not professional at all.
Terrible hospital. The one doctor they did have there was snotty just looking at me and laughing saying your not going to die you will be ok. She didn't even touch me just came at me with disrespect. I rather have went down town!! What a joke and waste of time! Rolling people around in there chairs and moving them out the way bc its to small and they were annoyed at the patients. My bed was in a small room and the sheets look dirty not to mention the bugs we had in the room. Disgusting! They should be shut down! What baffled me thw most is that 2 hours later i still didn't even have a hospital band for them to even know who i was!!!
On June 22, 2017, my daughter went to the ER because she thought that she had a UTI. Unlike other hospitals, they believed a 24 year old woman when she said that she was in pain. They took blood. It turned out that she had Leukemia. She would have died within 2 months if they hadn’t taken blood. She is in remission after a tough year, but we are so grateful that she went to Degraff.
Took my family member there. Always late at nite but they took good care of them.
Could not be happier. Had to get internal and external stitches in hand. Everyone was wonderful there. Was at er for an hour maybe. Awesome experience. Thanks to everyone who took care of me today.
Very professional and friendly staff. Keep in mind, this place is equipped for minor emergencies and will transfer you to suburban if the issue is serious.
You're in and out in no time
Easy in and out.
Haven’t any of you heard the expression, “laughter is the best medicine”
Had a episode of food getting caught in throat on a Fri night. I live blocks away. Doc didn't do anything and said to see a ent on Monday. Yes I still could breath but I was gagging and in obvious distress. Went to Millard suburban few hours later, that ER doc took care of it in seconds (after 5 hour wait). Really upset because next time I need a ER, I will have to drive past this one because I don't trust them.
Went there with extreme rib pain that came outta the blue, going on five days of the worst pain I Have ever been through and their miracle doctor came up with inflammation diagnosis without doing any tests or laying a finger on the affected areas, what a joke, poor healthcare system is all messed up
I have 20 years of medical experience and have worked in many facilities as well as a disabled husband who sees a multitude of providers monthly. I have NEVER experienced the compassion and understanding that my husband and I received here today. Triage nurse Jenn, Nurse Todd, and Dr Michelle we're absolutely amazing. Thank you.
This was my first visit to this hospital but I am very pleased w the care I received from the ER Dept. I was treated by professional staff w sincere concern & compassion. I waited 5 minutes in the waiting room, then I was taken back to a room by nurse Sandra. She was a very sweet & kind, on her toes lady. Next, I believe it was Tam that did my patient information. She was also a very sweet & kind lady. Then, I was thoroughly examined by Dr. Pfalzer. He addressed all my concerns w a genuine bedside manner. Sandra performed the test the doctor ordered, sent it to the lab, then, came back to check on me. My room was extremely clean. Overall the areas of this ER Dept. were VERY clean. The entire visit took maybe an hour, tops. I would definitely go back to this hospital if I needed to.
They saved my life. Without the doctors and staff there, I wouldn't be here today. Even after I was transferred to another hospital, the staff continued to check up on me. Thank you forever to the staff.
If you have anything serious wrong with you. Don't go there, unless you really want to die. No sense of urgency. The place is like a ghost town. I wish I could leave negative stars.
i wish DeGraff Mamorial was a full running hospital not just an emergency care center.
It's only fair to leave a 5 star review because I certainly would write a 1 star on places and have. Went to ER Thursday afternoon had no wait time none not even a minute. The care and respect I received was nothing short of 5 star service. I was and still am surprised by the service and care they showed. Maybe I went on a good day or maybe there are still kind and caring people left in the world I betting on the latter.
Nothing but the best services and kindness from everyone we encountered. Thank you
Unless you have Covid, stroke symptoms or a heart attack, you won't receive any care. This so called "hospital" should be ashamed of itself.
Love my therapist Josett. Works wonders with Cancer patients
I was embarrassed. I tried avoiding seeking care at all costs. I just couldn’t take the consistent pain and not being able to use my dominant hand. I had an infection in my finger and I knew it was bacterial. I just had no idea how it accumulated I just knew the pain and swelling was increasing. My visit here they did everything I was hoping for. Please drain this thing, verify it is bacterial, and please get me an antibiotic that will be effective. Bonus they will follow up checking to see what type of bacteria. I walked in. Sat for maybe 5 minutes before I was called back. Everyone I met was very kind. They were knowledgeable professional and empathetic. They all answered any questions I had. No one made me feel like I had anything to be embarrassed about. They explained everything before they did it, why they were doing it, and walked me through as they were doing it. My overall visit was very well. I am very pleased with the staff. They were there to help me during the middle of the night. Night shifts are not easy. I needed assistance and they most certainly provided me wonderful care.
They saved my grandma's life. Unfortunately she ended up passing later on that year. But the staff was simply amazing, they showed that they actually care and are willing to go the extra mile. If I can personally thank the staff that took care of my grandma I would. Thank you for giving me those extra months with her.
Not necessarily my personal experience this time, I was there because my sister was in a car accident today. While waiting in the waiting room, a gentleman came in and went to the window and told whoever at the window that he thought he was having a heart attack. They said okay and told him to go sit down. He went and sat down, and I was able to go back and see my sister. I stayed with her for probably 20-25 minutes and went back to talk to my mom in the waiting room. When I walked out the guy was in his chair with his head back, pale as a ghost. I honestly thought he was dead. So my mom and I kind of whispered back and forth that we were concerned about him (she told me he had gone up to the window while I was in the back to tell the lady that the pain was now radiating to his shoulder) and were about to go up to the window when the guys significant other showed up and started talking to him. She also realized that he was likely having a heart attack and went up to the window. The lady at the window acted like she had never spoken to him. She asked him what he thought was going on, he proceeded to tell her that he's already told her twice. They finally took him back, claiming they were waiting for a room to be cleared when I had watched the room across from my sister get cleaned up while I was in there with her. Nobody took his vitals upon arrival or had him fill out any admitting paperwork, nothing. They told him to go sit down. I am extremely disappointed in the response of the ER staff. Both my grandparents died here as well. I will never recommend this hospital to ANYONE.
I had sepsis! I couldn't have went to a better place. I cant even explain how grateful I am for the care I was given by everyone. If I had gone any where else I could have died. I didn't even know how sick I was but I knew I was in trouble! Thank you everyone at Degraff!!
Worst care ever, with professionals that play more than focus on job.
Pretty fast nice people very clean
Terrible. Never sent any of my labs over to my primary. Said my was my anxiety’s turns out it’s a heart issue that 2 doctors said anyone would have heard it if they took the time. This place won’t be around long complete joke. Thank you for my nightmare service. I work in healthcare my whole family does this place is a sad shell of a hospital
Samples should never be kept at room tempature for bacteria to grow. Huge violation. They need an undercover boss here.
Very poor, they have closed just about everything down here. Waited 1.5 hrs for blood to be drawn with one person on staff on a Saturday morning, others walked out. We also have had rude service in the ER, and long waiting times in the Xray department. Greed and ignorance over customer service and community care. Avoid.
Wonderful job took care me while in Hospital professional and trained staff
The only bad thing is they need to extend the ER room besides that nothing was wrong the staff was so kind!! And they attended to me quick!!
Suffered a deep laceration on forehead. Made a 9:15 am appointment on line. Taken immediately. Treated by Drs Barron and Sonenberg, two very competent physicians. Nursing staff was very professional.Given a CAT -scan and 23 stitches. Thorough aftercare instructions were also given upon discharge. Highly recommend DeGraff and would not hesitate to return if services were needed.
All the staff in ER are horrible. Nurses playing on their phones with their feet up on medical equiptment and arguing which one of them is the "most ghetto". The doctor had to double check that he had the right name of the one patient that's in here right now (my sister).
From the moment we walked into the ER we experienced the kind and prompt attention that made our overall experience exceptional. From reception, intake, nursing staff, to the Physician Assistant, all were courteous, helpful and knowledgeable! Thank you for making a hard situation easier.
Very bad experience. Will not recommend anyone with serious health issues to go there. It's equipped for minor injuries only.
The obgyn is the worst ever
