You will see all the feddbacks of people who are consuming the services of QHC Trenton Memorial Hospital (Hospital) in the territory of Picton (Canada).
Now this business has a score of 3 stars over 5 and that rating is based on 86 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is average, neither too high nor too low, and it's based on a large number of opinions, so we can think that the evaluation is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they are satisfied, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to give scores when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Hospital belongs to the category of Hospital.
I have been dealing with relentless health issues since October and unfortunately.. during that time I have been to many hospitals including Cardiologists in which my case has been overlooked which is understandable considering other people and the severity of their health... HOWEVER, tonight at Trenton Memorial I was taken seriously and for the first time I felt heard. Thanks to staff and Dr. Harrison Bishop in particular for being so awesome and helping me get to the bottom of things, it really means a lot that he took the time to answer ALL of my questions. ☀️
Uluuu B
I died here. 10/10 would do again
Listen, usually this hospital is great but you seriously need to teach your triage nurses some etiquette. The last two times I have been hear the triage nurses has said some pretty rude things. I am pretty sure I understand the risks of covid and know when my daughter needs to come to get examined. Quick service but poor manners.
Bad hospital..poorly run..plz go to Picton hospital
my father had fallen out of a tree while on vacation and had gotten a ct scan from trenton hospital, he was told he had broke his tail bone. he was sent home with a anti-inflammatory and something to help with his nerves. no pain medication no nothing. when we came home he went to our hospital just to check in and a week later he got an x-ray, his doctor told him two of his vertebrae were shattered. how in the hell did that ct scan not catch that like wth. don’t recommend at all. better off going to belville.
My Mother, a severe stroke survivor, went to this hospital as she was having symptoms of another stroke. The triage nurse working (June 28th, 2020, 10pm area) went and told my Mother: "You're in the wrong place due to Covid". And treated her very coldly. Where else is a Stroke Patient supposed to go when they are having symptoms of another Stroke? The mall? A grocery store? Whoever this woman was, clearly has no concern for the life of others. She was heartless, far from concerned, and very rude. We will NEVER go back to this Hospital, and will NOT be supporting it any longer with donations. VERY TERRIBLE NURSES!!
12 hrs after getting home from BGG hospital and gallbladder surgery. (I live in Trenton) and the bad service that I received from BGH I had to.go back to Trenton for crippling pain via ambulance. This hospital had a very caring triage Nurse and the Nurse practitioner. The took care of me and gave me sufficient pain meds to tackle my exteme pain. Thanks to those 2 nurses.
the nurses in the outpatient services were the best! I had to go for a colonoscopy and was treated with kindness and respect.
Very amazing doctors and nurses there in emergency... Professional A++++ Thank you ????
Friendly helpful staff and volunteers. Well organised, experienced and caring.
Phenomenal service and care from TMH staff. As I came via ambulance, the testing was quick and efficient and I was shipped off for surgery at BGH within hours. Staff were friendly and caring during my entire stay at TMH.
Dr. Hall is a fantastic doctor and the nurses are wonderful. I received great care. Dr. Hall is compassionate and really cares about his patients. The nurses are very nice and treated me very well.
Was here this morning at 3AM good luck finding someone, very confusing set up. The phone system was very odd and being passed from hall to hall was not a good experience. Place is clean and well looked after though and once we did find someone they were friendly, attentive and helpful. We were in and out really quick compared to bigger city places.
Worst hospital in Canada!! Avoid at all cost
Had my laparoscopic cholecystectomy here. For someone thst has a developmental disability and adhd and anxiety...they were wonderful. ????????????
Had my laparoscopic cholecystectomy here. For someone thst has a developmental disability and adhd and anxiety...they were wonderful. ????????????
Very .slow service....took 5 hrs to be seen which literally took less than 5 mins to treat me and get out....very slow and long wait time
Much faster to come here or Picton instead of BGH... wait times are a lot quicker here.
I was stunned by the great care I had. I went twice at the emergency and it s been consistently outstanding. Thank you ! This make such a big difference for me. I will support this hospital from now on.
So I have had a lot of bad experiences at Trenton hospital. A lot of there doctors and nurses lack compassion and or empathy. Specially if you have a mental health illness. I have seen almost every doctor at this hospital. However yesterday morning around 2am Doctor Heseltine (Michael) really restored my faith in Trenton hospital. He walked in and did his job, I could tell he cares about his job and has a lot of passion for what he does. Honesty I was in shock because most of the doctors come into the room for maybe 1-2 mintues and leave but he was able to do his job and still be efficient. Thank you for being the kind of doctor we all need and the nurse that night was very sweet. It was nice to feel cared for and honestly some doctors/nurses need to remember we all have family's and how would you treat your family member if they were sick or hurt? Rating this low because on a daily Basis this hospital does not care about their patients. I also waited 9 hours.
Very competent staff, friendly, I agree the parking is expensive, the volunteers are exceptional. A big difference from BGH.
I would give this place 0 stars if I could
Every time I come here it takes forever to be seen whether it's busy or not. They stick you in an examination room and forget about you for 2 hours. If it wasn't urgent we wouldn't be here and would have left a long time ago. They don't seem to see people based on their condition. On a side note :When you do get seen by the doctor's and nurses, they are very nice and take your concerns and treatment seriously.
Sat in emerg for 5 hours with a 3 month old who had a possible concussion. TMH needs to be saved.
The staff are very pleasant and got my Mom back on her feet,
Subject: Apart of a bigger healthcare problem. No Autism Awareness!
Food is designed to kill the patients in every way. Doesn't look good, bland and over cooked. Plated terrible, drinks and desserts served in distributor containers. No appeal at all. What are the dietetians being taught???? To counter this, the nursing staff is excellent. PS. BRING YOUR OWN TOILET PAPER AND FOOD!
Bring money for parking
If you need to go to emerg but can make it to Belleville, I highly recommend you do that and save yourself the agony. Nurses care more about their lunch orders then their patients.
Friendly and hard working staff. Too bad the government has cut out many of their services.
Patients aren’t treated with respect regardless of their medical condition. After being t-boned in a car accident, then taken to Trenton Hospital by ambulance, the doctor and staff neglected to attend to my several requests to help me go to the bathroom; even after I explained that I was just diagnosed with a stage 3 POP. If I could have walked to the bathroom by myself I wouldn’t have asked for the assistance. Unfortunately, they saw me as a problem who needed to be dismissed rather than attended to. After a humiliating examination and several hours of excruciating pain. The doctor, was at the end of his shift, sending me away with some naproxen for pain and a diagnosis of “adrenaline/shock; that I’d be fine in a couple days.” Being that I was still in so much pain and the doctor, who wanted to go home, had no intention of doing the proper investigation into what other issue(s) I was having that was caused by the car accident. The following day I was in even more pain and was afraid to go back to TMH because of the mistreatment I received prior. Then when I finally decided to go back to hospital I went to BGH to find out I was stage 3plus POP with a large herniated bowel, in addition to whiplash 3 with neurological. What a horrible experience.... I was in that much pain and felt that I couldn’t go back to the hospital to seek the medical attention I required in the first place. It’s difficult to think about how many people have had similar experiences as myself and how many people don’t go back for the help they actually need because of their first experience.
smells like old people but what do you expect for a dead people building :/
This is the worst Hospital ever. I arrived at the at 9:30 am. It is now 3:07 in the afternoon. I still here with no Signs of even see a doctor. I have been in serve pain all day. They have not offered anything to-easy the pain. I most comfort I have been given is a blanket, and I’m sure that was only given to me, because I was turn blue.
TMH...hmmmm....not impressed at all by the attitudes of the medical staff (ie. ER). Some are very professional, caring and pleasant while others are very belittling and rude. I would expect that ALL staff should have the same professional and genuine compassion for the sick and injured ..one should not have to roll the dice and hope that one gets a shift with staff who like their jobs and what they do. These people are suppose to be the HEROES right now...WELL...most heroes I know...are humble and genuinely care for the people they are helping/serving....they don't and wouldn't stomp on top of them and wipe their feet on the dignity of that sick and injured by making them feel inferior. PS: I do want to mention that there are some staff and departments that this doesn't apply to...but it only take a few bad apples to spoil the barrel for the others.
Outstanding service from the minute I walked in. Everything so well marked for easy locaton of the area you are looking for. I basicaly walked in and didn't even sit down when my name was called. Super friendly staff so comforting. Kudos to the staff that helped me through my hernia surgery on may 3rd at 1pm. Thank you so much.
I'd give a giant 0 if I could , nurses are unprofessional , the check in nurse didn't even look at my wound , waited 5 hours for stitches , no doctor seemed to be present , still currently waiting , they acted as if I was about to see the doctor , then had me waiting with an uncovered wound for 30 min with no real hope of seeing a doctor , absurdity , they have about 10 nurses on unprofessionally bantering the whole time not doing much at all , no doctors , this is a giant problem system wise , and on a person care level , we come to a hospital to get taken care of , clearly we have a broken system , when a 15 minute job takes 5 plus hours
Actual surgen was brutal. Bumping friend who none of the other staff even knew about for surgery with add on that were asked for. Nurses were great tho, hospital staff was good.
I've never been to a hospital as efficient as this. Amazing staff.
I have extreme Gerds Had worst attack in twenty years, burning throat, esophagus etc. My experience 8/10x will get a Dr. that treats me with no respect, not reviewing notes, specialist reports etc. This time was one of the best experiences in life with Dr.White on duty in ER. Between Dr. White, the lab techs and the Nurses, they calmed all symptoms down in the most caring, compassionate and professional manner, that I want to say THANK YOU, for caring about me. Dr. White you made me believe again that there are Dr’s who choose this career because they genuinely care. Wish she was a GP
Waited 8 hours to see a doc for 5 mins. Nurse unnecessarily gave 0.9% sodium (1000ml) fluid to a person with high blood pressure (that’s 9 grams of sodium- daily intake is 1.5-2.2g). I would desperately pay for better service if there was any medical place that provided one!!!
I have been here twice. Both times the wait has been ridiculous even for a hospital (I'm from Kingston I know hospital wait times). The male ER doctor I had was extremely rude. And accused me of wasting medical resources for requesting an ultrasound from their tech due to him not being able to find a heartbeat for my baby. He was insensitive, didn't know how to deal with a pregnant woman, and extremely condescending. The only reason I gave it a two was because the nurses were INCREDIBLE they were so kind and helpful. Next time however I will travel to either Belleville or Napanee.
Delightful staff.
Terrible...making people wait almost half a day. If they live local give a time to come back. 7 hours and counting 3 people in waiting room.. Update we left try family doctor tomorrow. Deal with open wound ourselves
it’s a hospital and they healed me so they pre cool
Unprofessional Drs after 4 hours of waiting the DR was shearing his life story on the phone for 2 hours while I’m waiting for him to write me a prescription and they way the talk to the patient is unprofessional that’s so sad
EMT was very empathic and helpful
THANKYOU SO MUCH TO THE CARING STAFF AT TRENTON HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM FOR THEIR WONDERFUL CARE DURING MY RECENT VISIT THERE. WISH I KNEW THE NAME OF THE EXCELLENT FEMALE DOCTOR WHO TOOK CARE OF ME... THE NURSES AND AND TECHNICIANS ARE ALSO VERY PROFESSIONAL AND THOUGHTFUL.
Rude lady on the phone spoke with a cold demeanour and simply said “No?” When I inquired about covid information. You serve public health and if you can’t help the public so simply, why does your employer have you? Might as well shut down and refer to Belleville...
Absolutely awesome treatment from the triage, through the Xray dept Cindy, Courtney for transporting me from Xray and back and Dr Alan Bell and nurses Mel & Jackie..friendly professional and courteous from beginning to end...Thank you one and all..
The cleanest hospital I have ever seen. The employees at all levels are very polite and respectful. The only other hospital comparable to TMH is in Cobourg.
My girlfriend is there right now. December 20 2018 6:20pm. They are harrassing her about using drugs over and over even though she has never used drugs before. I've honestly never seen a hospital staff do this before. The last time we were there the staff in the back were playing games about what patients they should see next and what ones they don't wanna deal with.( They didn't know we could hear them ). Hands down the worst hospital we've ever been to!!!!!!!!!!! Zero stars if possible. Just shut this place down already!!!
I was admitted to Emergency on Mon. June 7th @4:00 p.m. The Resident Dr. Chan was attentive, caring, and informative. He ordered tests to assist in forming a diagnosis and stayed in touch with my husband as well as following up with our family doctor and a neurologist. The nurse who attended me, Jen, was lovely and also informative. My overall experience with the staff was excellent. Thank you for your care. Herdis
I took my boyfriend to the Emergency room last night with a heart issue. Waited nearly 6 hours without seeing a Doctor, left without treatment. Extremely rude man working parking assistance, no help at all Avoid this place if you can.. make the trip somewhere else
I had read the reviews of this hospital ER and was reticent to go there given that I had been having chest pain for 4 days. My experience there was excellent from walking in the door and being greeted by a wonderful and helpful volunteer who explained the triage and registration process, to the triage and nursing staff who were all professional, caring and efficient in their duties and treatment of patients and finally the doctor (I wish I could remember his name) who was genuinely concerned, very thorough and didn't rush through his diagnosis. All areas of the hospital were clean and neat and the wait time was not outrageous, not even waiting for test results. Maybe I was the exception to the rule but I got great care at this hospital.
You have a city of 50 000 and only one doctor in emergency? Are you joking?
People who are here "May" Decembre if it musty smeltered' grinning?",..@
Prefer not disclose. Seriously rude ER doctor
Been waiting for 4.5 hours now and they took in 4 people before me that came after I did. What a joke. Dont waste your time at this dive and go to belleville.
what a great place to go if need be. My foot up my leg to my hip was run over by a car from the 2 ambulance paramedics 2 grrreat ladies 1 badge i heard was number 369 also Paula a triage nurse i think to the XRAY Techs the DR and KIM WHO WAS so good to me thank you not that i want to go to a hospital but this one is above a 5 star rating
I would have gave them a 0 out of 5 if it allowed me too. In all honesty this is the worst hospital i have ever been to. There were 5 people in the waiting room when i got here and i am still waiting to get in been here for 5 hours so far. I will never come back to this hospital again. Go anywhere other than here you will be way better off
The nurses @ Trenton Hosp. were so very kind & compassionate. Knowing l was abit nervous, they were super @ answering what questions l had.
Totally beside myself. Was here recently and prescribed medicine for elbow injection. Came back 2 weeks later with medicine and nobody has experience to do injection . I guess I shouldn't be surprised knowing this hospital is on it's way to closing the doors .
I am absolutley disgusted as how this hospital has turned out in the past 2 years. It has so dissapointed myself and many others. I have witnessed on many occasions with my clients being sent back home stating nothing is wrong with them, yet to be sent back less then 24hrs later then they have either died due to your staff negligence or rushed to bgh or kgh. Then we were told a client died when in fact this client never even arrived at your hospital they were taken right to bgh. And didnt die for another 3 weeks. Then a cpl wks ago i had my mom in sadly ambulance willonly take her to ur disgraceful hospital said she was fine even though her stats were 166/76 and her o2 dropped to 88 after the oxygen was removed. And you sent her home with a script and find out the doctor prescribed a med she is very allergic to. Also she is now on oxygen and a nebulizer no thanks to your staff and doctor that was on that evening and is still struggling to breath. She is not well and i do not support you at all staying open anymore. Your staff and emerge department is a disgrace. You want to stay open for the residence in your area yet you fail to provide the adequate service a patient in need needs and their family as well. So dissapointed in you and also many others are as well it just seems i am the only one to say anything on your page.
Total lack of communication on the second floor. They've lost my husband's clothing at least 2 times in the past few weeks. Apparently it's a communal laundry room that puts everybodys clothing and whatever else they wash and his clothing has not been returned in a timely fashion or completely lost!!! Then I went to try to see my husband the other day just after lockdown was in place. The screener phoned up to the second floor and someone told her that I wasn't allowed to see him unless he is in pallative care. I'm his designated cregiver, but was not issued a caregivers package yet and I'm in the system. Go figure that one out! Now I got a call tonight from the second floor and I was informed that I can see him since I'm his caregiver. It's so confusing. Other issues as well but I won't get i to that. Trenton, get your act together!
Spent some time here today in the emergency dept. and the staff were amazing! We were sent to BGH for a consultation and the staff there were also great!
I took my husband to the emergency department this morning. He had fallen and cut his eye and I thought it needed treatment. After nearly 4 hours sitting in the waiting without seeing a Doctor, my husband left without treatment. Not very happy at all. If you expect everyone to support the hospital, you need to improve the emergency department..... It's call emergency for a reason.
Everyone is great there. Great service.
