They’re very nurturing toward our fur babies. You can tell they understand they are family. The vet called me directly after receiving my cat’s bloodwork which was thoughtful. Their new mascot Mable, the Sphinx kitty, is super darling as well.

Great manners and very positive staff. Pricing I find is on the high side of the scale compared to other vet hospital's I have been too. Update: pricing was super high compared to other vets. Like double the price! We investigated other vet hospitals in the surrounding area and found that out of the 5 vets we called, Orillia pet hospital was double the price just to see our animal. We drove from Orillia to Midland to get my dogs boosters and it literally cost us less than half of our visit at the Orillia pet hospital! Like seriously we saved 150 dollars!!!!!!! Screw the extra 10 dollars I paid in gas (truck owners more like 25). If you live in Orillia and it's not a emergency go else where! Washagos half the price and same with Midland!

We brought our 14 yr old Cocker in after what we thought was a stroke. Obviously we were a wreck and were 100% sure we’d have to say goodbye to our beloved pet. Thankfully after a very thoughtful and comprehensive exam we were happy to hear he would be ok after all with sometime to recover. Everyone was amazing! What impressed me most was the honesty of the vet. In these situations it would be easy to take advantage of your emotions and charge for unnecessary work but Dr.Rogers never did. I’ll never take my dogs anywhere else.

Our 9 yr old dog had collapsed, vomited, released his bowels and was extremely hot, all within a few minutes. We thought he was having a heart attack or dying. Turns out it was a severe allergic reaction to some kind of bite. We placed him him our car and we’re driving to the closest vet. When we called this animal hospital, we were put on hold, then told they would not take us because we are not a patient, sending us further down the road to Barrie. How can a vet who takes an oath to help animals, refuse treatment to one who is crisis?!

The team here is amazing. I take my 2 cats and 1 dog here and they have received the best care. With the COVID measures I am unable to join my pets for thier appointments but I know they will receive the best care while they are there. Highly recommend!

Messaged in July to ask if they saw rats. They responded in August saying they did. In September I tried to make an appointment for my rat, and was told they don’t see rats. Very disappointed.

I brought my cat here many many times and the staff are very nice and personable however the prices charged by this vet are astronomical. I ended up switching to a vet in Barrie (which gives exceptional care) and the prices were hundreds of dollars cheaper.

It was my first time here last week I brought my French bulldog and he loved it!! He has experienced some bad veterinarians in the past. I am pleased with how Organized and how well there systems are implemented due to COVID and how they maintain safety. Most importantly they took excellent care of my dog and while my dog was in for his first visit one of the staff called my fiancé and gave us a very detailed recommendation on what we should and shouldn’t do for our dog. This place puts customers first and has your best interest in mind, I would highly recommend this place.

I had a great experience at Orillia Pet hospital . My dog got hit by a car, thankfully he's ok, nothing broken, lots of cuts and bruises. ???????? Because of covid, nobody wanted to take him in. When I called Orillia Pet hospital,they give me an appointment right away. He got the care that he needed. Staff were very nice and friendly. I just hoped they followed up with him to see how he was doing, if everything was healing ok, but they never did. Overall, it was a great experience!! Thank you Orillia Pet hospital.

I have a shy and skittish rescue dog, they spent a substantial amount of time letting her get to know them and trust them. She now has no problem with them and loves them. Every other vet I went to just muzzled her... adding to her anxiety and making vet visits miserable for her

I highly recommend Orillia Pet Hospital. Dr. Schmidt saved my cat Joolaa from being put down because of her kidney disease and provided a treatment option that worked! Dr. Schmidt didn't just read information from test results but also took a holitic approach and understood that my cat needed to be home in her home environment. Dr. Karly was a great teacher and she taught me how to inject fluids into my cat and she has since made a remarkable recovery. I don't know how much time my cat has left but I at least got the time to spend quality time with her in a healthy state because of the treatment offered by Orillia Pet Hospital. I am very grateful to the expertise and care provided by them. I am so happy that they provided my cat Joolaa with a quality life where she is comfortable, happy and alive. Very disappointing. On their website they said their mission is to meet the needs of local pet owners as well as vacationers in cottage country. They said they would work closely with your vet at home so your pet would receive the best care for their needs. I called to make an appt. because my cat was ill and we're in Orillia for the summer. They said their earliest appt. was in October. I told them my cat couldn't wait that long and they said they couldn't help me.
