We've been the only people in the emergency dept for 1.5 hours, and described the ailment as higher level of attention. And not one person has made notice of us, or awknowledgement. What kind of hospital is this?

Awful experience. It shouldn't take two or three hours for a nurse to get to you when you are waiting in EMERGENCY.

I have been waiting for about 3 hours now, I was here and about an hour later others started showing up, now we are all waiting i over heard from some nurses that they didnt even know if the doctor was still here, if you can I suggest going to Hanover hospital it is so much faster and they really know what they are doing

This hospital is a joke. I literally only come here for emergency situations or because this hospital is closer than Goderich. What a mistake. It is better to go all the way to Goderich which is an hour extra drive to get help. The receptionist are rude and unhelpful in every aspect. The volunteers were more helpful than any actual staff. DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE FOR ANYTHING, and I mean anything. It’s like pulling teeth trying to get your health looked at by anyone there. The Doctors are decent, but to get to them seems nearly impossible. After the fact. Went to Goderich and was diagnosed with a bartholin cyst, had to have surgery on Saturday to drain it, and will never go back to Kincardine Hospital.

Had a very minor issue with my finger. Didn't care to go in but I went to this hospital while I was in town just to make sure it was dealt with properly and to avoid infection. The nurse(Heather was her name) was extremely unprofessional as well as belittling in regards to my problem. She was also surprisingly very uneducated when it came to actually dealing with me. I was left unattended for almost 2 hours (in an empty hospital with no one even in the waiting room). If you get a miserable & incompetent nurse - then it was surely her!????

This facility has many dedicated and highly trained staff that serve our community 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The community is extremely fortunate to have this wonderful medical facility on our doorstep. However, my sense is that the hospital is undervalued and quite possibly underfunded. For the most part the frontline workers are terrific and my family and I are very thankful for all the services they have provided us. Over the past 32 years, which included the birth of our three children, and countless other visits to the emergency room, laboratory, radiology and specialist clinics. I personally have had life-saving treatment at the hospital on more than one occasion. It's hard to think of a more profound and heartfelt recommendation than that.

Thought it might be useful to know that the wifi reception and cell phone reception is terrible at this hospital. If a patient is in for more than a day or two it would be nice if they could at least use wifi while here.

Only giving 1 star because I can't take all of them away 7 hours waiting for a xray they couldn't confirm as a break or not next day after cat scan in Walkerton hospital waited in a busy waiting room just to talk to on call doctor 3 hours and counting ridiculous

SLOW. I came from the city and the state of healthcare here is absolutely atrocious. Barely any doctors around in Bruce county in general. Don't move to Bruce county if you value your health. It's a great place until you're hurt or sick, then forget about it. I'll just keep going to Toronto for my needs. At least when you're waiting 9 hours at sunnybrook, you can understand more than when you wait 4 hours in kincardine.

The current (as of Jan 2020) pictures are incorrect. The SBGHC is the hospital located adjacent to the Hawthorne Community Clinic. Could some one please correct the pictures!
