Had such a great experience at emerg. Everyone was extremely nice and kind, they made you feel really comfortable and were really thorough to make sure you receive the best care. The hospital was also extremely clean and not crowded. Would highly recommend.

Worst Hospital ever when ever we came here we’ve got delayed 5 to 7 to 12 hours they have no mercy even an emergency they keep you waiting never did any work properly will never show you again you kill everyone.

Had a great experience today. Very well organized process that kept people socially distanced but comfortable. And it moved quickly. Staff was wonderful. Dr MacDonald saw me after X-rays on my knee. He was so down to earth, listened to me explain what happened etc and relayed next steps clearly and with care. Thank you J Brant emerg hospital staff for the excellent care. In times like these it’s so important to share positive experiences. My utmost respect for all healthcare workers!

Came to the emerg a few weeks ago and found most of the staff on site to be very rude. I don’t come to a hospital expecting customer service, but human decency would be nice. The triage nurse who took my blood wasn’t even paying attention because of the conversation she was having with her colleague and missed a few times, caused unnecessary bruising. I was also lied to about the wait times (was initially told would be about an hour). Because it was only about an hour my husband waited in the car (was not allowed inside). Three hours later I asked a doctor in the hallway if he knew how much longer and he snapped at me and said if people would stop asking him how much longer the wait was, he would be able to do his job a lot faster - never answered my question although he could have at least checked how many patients were ahead of me. And that’s just where it started. I’ve had quite a few emergency visits to different hospitals in the past and this was absolutely the worst in terms of the way they were talking to and treating people.

All the staff were very friendly. However, not very thorough with information. I had to ask a lot of questions as opposed to the Dr or nurses provided me the information. Things such as care for my injury, when I could return to work, what to expect with my injury etc. They also moved quite rapidly through my assessment where it felt like I wasn't getting the attention I needed to properly understand my injury. At one point the Dr took a phone call in the middle of removing my bandages. I'm understanding and know he's very busy. I get it. It would have been nice though if the staff was a bit more attentive. Everyone was still polite and nice. I waited a very long time in the emergency department. 1.5hr in the general waiting room and then another 1.5hr in a private room waiting for the dr.

I just went to the ER and stood at the triage window for a few minutes but the man on the other side of the window did not even acknowledge me. I read the sign that stated if the nurse was busy to have a seat in the blue chairs and have your health card ready so I sat down. The man on the other side of the window never looked at me even once. A lady walked in shortly after and did the same thing I did, stood at the counter for a few minutes ... but he acknowledged her, took her health card and asked her to sit down. He then finished with the person he was triaging and came out to get the lady that came after me and I was still just sitting there with my health card in my hand. I left and am on my way to Oakville. You can make JBMH beautiful but if the staff are rude like the guy in ER, people won't go there! Very disappointing.

I have mixed feelings about my visit. I went to emergency room on Monday evening because of my chest pain. Most steps went very smoothly, all tests were faster than expected, there was very short waiting time between them. However the ending of my visit was not good. After I did second blood test and x-ray, the doctor told me he suspected that my heart had some issue and I will see a cardiologist soon in the hospital and then sent me to the waiting room to wait for the cardiologist. But I sit there for more than a hour, nobody came to talk to me. I suspected that I was somehow forgotten, so I stood up and walked around in the waiting area. I seemed to be right, within two minutes of doing so, the doctor rushed to me, and to my surprise, he told me I would not see the cardiologist in the hospital, I needed to go home and wait for the phone call. Nobody explained to me the results of exams I did. Now I have been home for three days, and my chest is still painful, but nobody called me, maybe I was forgotten again? I respect all the hard work that doctors and nurses are doing, but I don't enjoy what I am experiencing right now.

Today is my first time to visit this hospital for my first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. The way and services of the hospital handling the COVID-19 vaccine appointment is excellent and impressive. Thanks everyone who works hard to achieve that.

Joseph Brant hospital emergency room is one of the best emergency rooms I've been to. The wait time is a little longer than I thought, but it is not unreasonable considering I went there during the holiday season. The doctor and nurses were professional and nice. They took all the necessary tests to make sure I was okay and fully explained the cause of my symptoms.
