Glengarry memorial hospital is the worst, and most incompetent hospital I've ever been too, their staff is less than friendly and in some cases vindictive, they are incapable of treating extreme cases

The wait times are insane. My father went into Emergency and was there for six hours. They only took one patient an hour. How incompetent. Not to mention my dad's blood pressure was insanely high and they didn't do anything since he was there for his ear not blood pressure. If I had a choice I would not go to this hospital, I would make the drive to Ottawa.

Amazing support for my mum (who has dementia). She was complaining of abdominal pain and had stopped eating for days. They were compassionate and very thorough in their examination. Nurse Annie was super! They even brought a comfy chair so my sister could stay with her overnight, and checked back with us in a timely manner regarding test results. Terrific care! We are very grateful.

Very rude and i had a deep cut on my hand that needed stitches they had me wait so far almost 2 hours and still not yet been seen i even came in a ambulance was sitting with someone else in the waiting room who came in after me and went in before me who was only here for a stupid prescription unlike me I have a deep cut that needs to be stitched up

Went to the ER to get a third opinion as I've been sick for 6 months and nothing is moving forward, getting worse and worse day by day. Nurse took me in, I explained that I haven't eaten in 4 days, nothing would stay in. She asked right away if I smoked Marijuana. I then explained where the pain came from (liver) and again she asked how many times I smoked marijuana in a day. I ignored her and asked to see the doctor. Doctor came in, asked me the same thing, I explained my situation over and over and he kept ignoring my situation. All that mattered to them was marijuana like where the hell did that come from? Of course after 4 days of not eating, my face was pale but that was it. It had NOTHING to do with that. Got results and the problem is my liver. Don't go to this hospital if you're looking into getting help. They only care about their community. It's like they wanna see you sick. Worse place I've ever been to, they made me feel so low. Never going again.

An almost empty hospital fully staffed that I've been listening to gossip eith each other for the last hour. Very disappointing from our health care officials. I've waited over 3 hours for something that could take 15 minutes and I can hear them laughing and gossiping like chics in a hen house

They are always short staff at night, I came in once at night in extreme distress and no one was there, not even at the reception desk.. I was yelling Hello several times before the nurse came out of the room.. It is discouraging when your in an emergency and you feel completely alone in hospital!

I want to thank the emergency doctor yesterday afternoon Dr. Rosenberg, but not sure of his name .. I went for a second time for my back I was in so much pain I was struggling to put one foot in front of the other he finally gave me a good medicine and advised me other things with my medication. omg and how it works. I arrived at 5AM no other person was waiting, I was told that they would not call the doctor until they had enough people to make it worth their time, at 7h30AM another person came in...they told them they didnt know how long the wait would be because the doctor had to have their breakfast... What is that all about, should they not have had their breakfast before showing up for their 7am shift? Save yourself the drive. It's not worth it anymore

Terrible experience. Never felt so dismissed by “medical professionals” in my life. I wish I had read reviews before going there, I would have driven an extra 15 min to go somewhere else. Seems I’m not the only the one who was disappointed with the care. Serious lack of bedside manner and instruction. I could only assume that everyone was simultaneously having the worst day of their life and didn’t know how to set that aside and be professional for the patients who are going there for help.

I went in for my son's allergy rash to a plant. The meds he was given weren't working. A Sunday afternoon. I waited about 2hrs to see the doctor. The nurse at the triage was so nice. The Dr. was also very nice. Her service was fast and easy. We both knew what was going on so I didn't had to repeat myself.

Attended with my 17 month old(who was having difficulty breathing) and my 6 month old. Very accommodating, considering shortened staff on a holiday. Pleasant, professional staff and was seen in a very timely manner. Much appreciated.

Need a new family doctor... so went to the hospital to get a refill on my meds, to my disapointement.. wait 5 hrs!! Lots of new people pass infront of me, some understandable. Grumpy doctor with attitude that doesnt even look at my chart. If u dont like your job u should get another profession!!! VERRY DISAPOINTED in our hospital!!!

November 29th I am from Cornwall..I went to the hospital at 9:30 am. There were only 3 people in the emergency after waiting 5 hours i asked what was taking so long they never answered my question i was told there was another 3-6 wait for only a refill on a prescription..Mean while there are 30 some people that came in..It was a waste of time and gas i should have just stayed in Cornwall..i am not impressed with this hospital the waiting room was by the entrance door and everyone was freezing I will not be returning..Winchester or Ottawa would be the best choice!

The nurses were superb. Id rather drive from quebec to get the extraordinary services that this hospital offers over any other hospital in the area. They are always so kind, compassionate and treat you like a person. However, my experienece was overtaken with anger when the dr. Came in He hardly looked at me. I told him there is a hole in my throat and he overlooked it twice! He was so anxious to do the covid test which i told him i tested negative 2 days ago. And to boot for my throat culture swab test he threw it in the trash ask the nurse where it went and took it out of the trash and then tested me with it. I should have said something but i was just livid he hardly spoke to me. If the nurses took over, they could have done the exact same thing he did with me in an extreme polite , courteous, and professional manner. I have never felt this way about a dr at this hospital ever! This was a first and i hope they get ridof him. He was the version of extreme rude,inconsiderate, and uncompassionate. This hospital deserves a way better dr than him . I am sad for the people that have built up such a great hospital to have it ruined by one.

Fantastic experience, I went to emergency after 7pm on a Monday night, ended up needing IV antibiotics three times a day for two more days. Everyone I met was kind, compassionate and professional, they have an exceptional team. The nurses do what’s necessary, you don’t have to wait for one, the next one available helps you. Sitting in “the blue chair” during treatment you get to see what goes on behind the seines and they all work like hell. We are privileged to have such a hard working, dedicated, kind caring team. Remember to thank the next Nurse or Doctor that you see, it might help them get thru their next 12 hour shift. Thanks again from the left foot guy.
