I was sense of them to the hospital for almost a month within that time I received excellent care. I have multiple sclerosis and the staff there treated me extremely well. Upon my stay I received physiotherapy which I cannot find that level of care anywhere. If you ask me more hospitals could learn a lot from them. Christopher Newbold

To me, it's a 50/50 gamble if you go here. By that I mean you either get in and out of there quickly, or they take 4 hours.

Went to the hospital because of vomiting blood, the triage nurse didn't believe me, the reception was incredibly rude. I thought hospitals were supposed to help with serious cases... At this point I'd rather drive 2hrs to London then go back here again.

Renovation is nice, but sitting here on a Tuesday with 6 other people in the waiting room going on 2.5 hours. 45 min ago we were next. Terribly slow!! Do not go here, go to Wiarton or Owen Sound instead.

Always Got Thru Quick Lots more room in the new ER and no more waiting in the hallway. Much more pleasant experience. Weekends can be busy but evenings can be quiet when I have gotten thru quickest.

We are now approaching 5 hours waiting to have my wife's eye condition examined. The only contact we have had outside of admitting is when we were directed to an examination room an hour ago where we we continue to wait. We will never do this again and I would advise others to do the same unless they require an ambulance.

Awful wait times and they don't care if you're practically dead they just let you lay there suffering. Atrocious. No one here and I have been here 4 hours and told I can't lay down.

Absolutely sick how they treat patients in this place, I had called the police to check on my mother who was feeling very sick, she was admitted to the hospital based on the police officers discretion, the quack doctor and nurses called me to ask why she had been admitted without even looking at her first... for one it's their job to determine why she was admitted to the hospital by the POLICE! They shouldn't be calling family members asking why they thought she sounded bad over the phone... so they release her with no follow up, a week later she's back in the hospital with 2 percent kidney function clinging to life.She remained in the hospital for a month, was released with psw care workers coming by. The doctor tells me she only has 6 weeks of care before she's on her own again.... this is what our health care system has come to? What exactly do we pay for? So I offered her to come to Calgary to get better health care, I asked the doctor on the phone if she was capable of living independently with a bit of help, the doctor said "I don't see why not". She's been in Calgary just over two weeks and she's already back in the hospital. The fact these doctors and "professional" health care workers didn't find her a permanent nursing home or care facility or help out at all with the situation is mind boggling. A complaint is being filed against everyone who was involved who mislead me to believe she was somewhat capable of independent living, worst experience with an health care services I have ever dealt with.

I had to come here while vacationing in Sauble and everything else was closed for Canada Day. I walked in at 5pm and was out of there at 5:50pm. I was shocked that they took care of me so quickly and all the staff were kind, and took the time to talk to me about what was wrong. (back home they try to get you out of their rooms as soon as they can and just don't seem to care). I live 2 hours from here are I sincerely think the 4 hour drive and 1 hour wait time would be quicker at this hospital than it would be to wait at KW Urgent Care. Extremely impressed.

Every time I have to take my kids here it is a four hour plus wait regardless of how sick or injured they are. Plus there is always at least one super rude staff member. Better to take the drive to Owen Sound if it’s not an immediate emergency.

Waiting 5 hours in and out of exam room to waiting area many time. Take one patient at a time would be more productive. And taking blood in waiting room isnt sterile at all. Get it together people. And your staff are very very rude. You are there to help people! Not just to make a paycheck.

On vacation I had to use the “emerg” services at this hospital . I left after waiting 6 hrs, prior to that I was talking to a man who had been waiting for 9 hrs. For attention. Totally unacceptable either thru lack of staff or simply incompetence, disgusted by the lack of professionalism.

South Hampton hospital is EXTREMELY slow and has rude staff! If you don't like dealing with people GET A NEW JOB!!! Dealing with patients is not for some people. Especially when people who aren't feeling well being rude makes it worse.

My three year old unvaccinated son has an ear infection, he was put in the so called Covid section, the one separated by cellophane, with other patients who are coughing, one who was NOT wearing a mask!!!!! How is this even allowed to happen. I can’t comment on the care because we had to refuse basic care to save our sanity and lower our risk

We went for a covid test at the Southampton Grey Bruce Health Services Clinic. The staff was very friendly and treated us with respect. The doctor spoke French to better communicate with our kids. Many thanks to all the dedicated caretakers at this facility.

Some doctors are very good in this hospital. But extremely horrible waiting times. Minimum 3 hrs when you are the only person in Triage. There should be some accountability and transparency from the hospital managemt. People's time are indeed valuable....

This hospital is not the place to go if you actually need help! I have a place in Southampton and was there for the summer when I need to use the Emergency services what a joke! I was walking into things and had blurred vision all of a sudden and felt like I was going to pass out. Upon arrival my blood pressure was not taken and nothing was done..I was asked how much I had to drink the night before and if I was on vacation for the week in town. I was then out into a room and the "doctor" came in to see me.o was asked to lay down and he looked in my eyes that's it then gave me a prescription for vertigo. I explained I know what vertigo is and this definitely was not it... He insisted he knows he is the doctor. I booked a follow up with my doctor as soon as possible and got blood work done. I had severe anemia that almost needed a blood transfusion. Luckily I went to my doctor and for it under control before that happened. I would recommend yiu do not take anyone you care about to this hospital

Horrible takes so long just to get a room and once you do you’ll be sitting in there for hours before they come in.

I'm giving this hospital and their staff the highest rating possible. For the simple fact they deserve it!! I was admitted with in seconds of arrival due to the emence amount of pain I was in. I was convinced I had something wrong with me that from my experience with other hospitals they would have just excepted my self diagnose and wrote me a script and sent me on my way!! Dr. S.Khan You are incredible sensitive brilliant human being the care you provided me with yesterday was way above and beyond also the nurses were incredible very , tentive and understanding. They made my time there so much easier I can't thank you all enough! I truly wish all hospitals were like yours!!! Thanks Kendra

I wish there was a zero star rating. My mother has been waiting over 5 and a half hours and she's still in the waiting room. Privatize health care in this province NOW! Was just told by the intake person that the average wait time was 7.5 hours. And her attitude was one of "oh well".
