Very slow hospital id suggest going to kentville if you can your looking at a 4 to 8 hour wait here

Have been there many times over the years and have noticed wait times have been greatly reduced in more recent years. This hospital is a main cog in the function of this end of Annapolis Valley and would like to see it get more attention provincially and federally.Such a big Hospital with only one doctor on staff. Hospital would be much more efficient if there were no medical center in Middleton and more doctors at hospital all under same roof. A medical center under same roof of hospital believe would make more sense.

The professionals I see here at this hospital are the best...They have so much compassion and understanding and they are very helpful and comfortable to talk to about anything without judgement unlike Yarmouth hospital where I live, the 2 hour drive to Middleton is well worth it let me tell ya???????? ...They have helped me out alot in the past 5 or so years...I would recommend this hospital and staff to anyone ????????????......I don't know anything about the outpatients emergency department cuz I have not been there to use it...sorry????????????

I can not believe how poorly I was treated this even ny the triage nurse, She was extremely abusive and rude. From picking gloves up off the floor to use on me to slapping a soaked cleaning wipe onto the Bp machine in anger to purposely spray me with the liquid from it. She left a 'poke hole' on my arm after the did bp. She did not care that I was in respiratory distress, she asked me nothing except why was I not waering a mask. If I behaved like this in my workplace I would be fired on the spot.

They've got amazing staff. Even though I was clearly a random visitor with minor injury, I was treated with all their professionalism. They have caring nurses, doctors who know what they are doing, and make you feel at ease, and right medical equipment. Was quite fast too, didn't have to wait long anywhere.

Good day I took my husband David Silver to emergency on 25 February 2021 aprx 0930 I seen Dr Hanninen we were treated excellent by the emergency nurse and all the staff and of course Dr Hanninen who was very professional Thank you very much

Entered out patients with unknown cause of high temp and dehydrated. Nursing staff and Doctors were excellent. Treated with great respect and concern.Could not have been better. Thanks to all who helped.

i went to outpatients to get a prenatal Checkup having no family doctor yet. The nurse who seen me was very nice and informative. I needed a prescription for antibiotics. It was high level priority, I needed the issue cleared before my child was born . Went to get my prescription and was turned away as no fax was received at the pharmacy . I called outpatients for help but to no avail, the dr I seen was unavailable and I’d have to return for another appointment . I tried another pharmacy trying to reroute a mistake. They pulled up every pharmacy in NS and there hadnt been a prescription faxed under my name since 2011. Called outpatients again, they were rude over the phone with both myself, my mother and my spouse. In the mean time my baby has been born. Finally I was able to get them to refax my prescription yesterday or so the said. My mother went to Pick it up and the same story was given . It was not faxed . Again today I called. They cut me off during me trying to explain to them the situation and how serious I felt this was. I can’t believe how useless this staff and nurses are at this place. I still have no antibiotics, I feel like they’ve failed me. Do not go to this hospital . It should be shut down . They’re ignorant and careless . I’ve never been so frustrated . BEWARE.

Got here at 6:30 PM with my daughter because of rash she has had for 4 weeks . Waited 5 hours now it's past her bed time she is tired and agitated, I have a pounding headache and asked for a tylenol and the answer was no, I also asked for a melatonin because my daughter takes it to help her sleep and they said no. This place is the worst

the hospital in middleton need to get clean up an start caring for the people it is sad how it has gone down hill an now they have a new place but no doctors to put in it that is so sad to know the care should be good not bad for the town it is time to clean up the hospital make it more caring for people in middleton
