The staff are busy chit chatting instead of doing their jobs and one of the Drs there was so facetious to me when I mentioned that my daughter has to always wait an hour.... the main moa has been heard more than once telling the girl she's training that she loves to do u or book patients... They certainly are not footing the nearly $5 per hour parking .... They are ruining my daughter's experience of being a first time mother and another thing that is bad is watching them take in all the other patients that are sitting there then my daughter last.... today was the last straw and we are filing a complaint with the College of Physicians and Surgeons..... We arrived late so.theu decided to punish her and made her wait two hours!!!! I would never go.to the this clinic if I was to be pregnant again! It is nit easy fir a pregnant woman to sit there fir so long and on top of that, she is having a scary pregnancy.

Receptionists are generally friendly. Dr. Moody is extremely pushy about the vaccine and when asked to refer me to another clinic closer to home, she told me I didn't need a referral, would have to seek out a clinic myself, and have to ask them to call for the records. This is not true. I've moved and they still haven't updated my address which is affecting the ability to smoothly get into another clinic. I'm 25 weeks pregnant. So much wasted time. Don't recommend if you don't have to.

We had a really good experience with PCOC, specially because they were much familiar Whit birth process in Royal Columbian hospital and pragnancy issues rather than our family doctor. They were quite flexible in booking appointments and changes. When we went to hospital for delivery we knew mist of the physicians because we had met them before in PCOC. I highly recommend them.

You'll most likely see a different doctor each visit. My favorite has got to be Dr. Wong. He is warm, knowledgeable, respectful and cheerfully answers all your questions. I found the other doctors had a bit of a colder demeanor; expect checkups to be less than 5 minutes with them. Receptionist and support staff are all awesome!

I don't know why the rating is so low, but the staff is actually very nice and friendly. The doctors are great!

This is one of those places where you'll be hurried through as quickly as possible, with no real feeling of care for you as a person. Staff and doctors hardly seem to look at you and the only attention you'll receive if you have a problem or question is likely to be very condescending and negative. I cannot wait to go back to my family doctor and be done with this place... Suffering from prenatal depression, one doctor here immediately wanted to put me on pills without knowing any details of the how/why/history of my emotions and told me the only other option was the ER when I inevitably had a breakdown. I insisted on seeing a psychiatrist first. I also had the audacity to try and ask some questions about hospital procedures and was told to read the FAQ on their website, which I suppose will save them time since my 5 minutes were up already. Here's to hoping my birth is short and easy so I don't have to interact with them too much during labour!

I have nothing but only positive review for the clinic, everyone I've met here is caring and calm. The doctors always ask if I have any question/concern after each visit, and explain medical terms carefully. I don't feel the waiting time is that bad, around 5-20 minutes. I am so grateful for the care that my baby and I received. Thank you Primary Care team ????

Made and appointment and waited 1hour. Next time I was 10min late and was charged for missed appointment. Receptionist totally rude.

I would not recommend nor come back. Not that the staff and Drs were not friendly. They just don't care enough or explain anything. With my first pregnancy with a different clinic I had thorough examinations, flu shots etc. This place gave me a qtip to take home to do my own swab test to bring back?? And told me to go to public health for flu shots. They charge a $35 admin fee which is certainly not worth it. The wait was nearly an hour each time for a one min check up with the Dr and half the time I was seeing a student who never knew the answers to my questions and who would always have to leave the room to ask the Dr and come back with the answer. I'd stay clear of this place.

After our 2nd baby, I've finally sit down to write this overdue positive review of our OB clinic. My wife and I are super grateful for what the receptionist, Lisa, and the doctors have done for us. They are patient and helpful! Dr. Wong is our favourite. I like how he can use a simple analogy to explain medical terms. Sometimes funny too! He delivered our first. Dr. Matic delivered our second. If you plan to have your baby at RCH this OB clinic is definitely the one to go to. The docs work closely with the Labor and delivery department at the hospital and you may just get your favourite doc to deliver your baby :D One thing to bear in mind though is that the appointments before you can run late very often. So try to book the earlier ones during the day or be prepared to wait a bit.

I can't thank PCOC enough; I have had a wonderful experience with Lisa, Cheryl and Dr. Wong at PCOC and wanted to write this review so that others know what a great clinic they are. We moved homes half way through my pregnancy so got switched from BC Women's to Fraser Health. At the time, it was pretty stressful as we had a plan that was then being disrupted. I spent a lot of time researching clinics and hospitals but it is always a bit of a guess before you actually go somewhere. I found Lisa to be friendly and welcoming, always addressing me by name and Cheryl's great sense of humour and knowledge was always a relief, even when things weren't going as planned with the pregnancy. And, I can't say enough about Dr. Wong; I have never felt so listened to by a medical professional. Dr. Wong took the time to address every question I had and really seemed genuinely interested and concerned with me. It was a joy going to the clinic each week and I want to extend such a BIG thank you for making me feel so welcomed and cared for. I have had an incredible experience with Fraser Health since moving to Burnaby and I had a wonderful experience delivering and being cared for at Royal Columbian Hospital. Saying 'thank you' doesn't seem enough but, truly, thank you for all your care and attention - my husband, new little daughter and I extend our warmest thanks for everything.

First off. The front desk lady is a sweetheart. My rating is unfortunately for the person who weighs you and takes your blood pressure. She is so rude! She made me feel so uncomfortable I don’t know what’s wrong with her. When she did my pregnancy interview thingy, she even made a comment about my height when I said I’m 5” exact her reply was “oh not much at all” what do you mean not much at all lady?? Am I nothing ? I’m a human being. I know I might sound like I took it too personally but people in professional settings shouldn’t make any comments on someone’s appearance. She made me feel belittled because of my petite height. Funny thing is, 4 years ago when I was preg with my daughter she had made a comment on my height then too! Clearly she has her own issues about her giagantic manly height and takes it out on the petite ladies. And just the way she talked to you was very unprofessional, unorganized and rude. Can’t believe she works there!

I am confused by all other reviews here. My partner and I got there early and we were called into our appt early. The doctor was really good - thorough and even asked several times if I had any more questions. Honestly, he was better than the midwife I was seeing. This clinic came with a good recommendation by my GP and I trust her. I highly recommend this clinic and look forward to my next visit.

After reading all the bad reviews about this clinic I was really worried to become a patient. I am not sure why the comments are so bad, as my experience has been nothing but amazing. Maybe people's expectations about this type of service are over the top and unrealistic. All the doctors I met in this clinic were kind, caring and very dedicated. Not once I felt like they didn't care about me and the baby. I had some complications and had to go to Royal Columbian and some of the same doctors cared for me there, as well as the nurses, which brought so much comfort during very stressful times. I always booked my appointments around opening or closing times and I never waited more than 5 minutes. The receptionists are polite but serious and I respect people's different personalities. I have nothing but amazing things to say about the doctors and this clinic. I will likely be a patient again with my second child, no doubt. It has been a blessing!

What a joke. My wife was explaining her symptoms to one of the doctors here and he literally said he "did not care about all that" and only wanted to know how the sips test looked. Next, she was told she had high blood sugar so needed to get another test done. Well, they forgot to fax the lab requisition so when she arrived the lab would not do anything for her. It was too late to do anything that day as the OBGYN was not open. She called next time they were open and got the requisition faxed to her directly to ensure the lab would get it. She went back to the lab to get her test done and the nurse put "nurse" in the name field and did not put the billing number for the OBGYN so once again the lab would not do the tests for my wife. How can we trust this clinic with the birth of our child? We will be changing OBGYN at 6 months pregnant.

Tip, take the first appointment of the day and go same day each month. I always saw the same dr and didn't wait more than 10 minutes.
