I cannot and will never be able to express enough how very grateful and satisfied I (and my hospitalized wife in CCU) are about the services she has received over the last two days (and continuing) and all the personnel we have dealt with. From the doctors to the nurses, support workers, janitors, cafeteria personel and volunteers and all others we came across with. They are all very pleasant, understanding, available and professional. Many, many thanks for your excellent care and personnality.

The Upper River Valley Hospital in New Brunswick, Canada officially opened its doors in November 2007. The futuristic facility was set up in place of New Brunswick hospitals the Carleton Memorial and the Northern Carleton. Impressively, Upper River Valley is Canada’s first LEED-approved all-inclusive hospital. Adding to its eco credentials, the hospital is designed to be fully paperless, which means that medical personnel are able to manage patient data electronically. Outlining its advantages, then-health minister Michael Murphy said, “This means instant access to patient information to provide quicker care in an emergency, and an ability to immediately share information and consult with other health care providers outside the hospital.” The Upper River Valley Hospital – which cost $85 million to complete – is run by Canadian health authority the Horizon Health Network.

While visiting from Alberta, my wife had a medical emergency to one eye. Over the course of 4 days, with different visits to the ER and the eye clinic, she had nothing but the most phenomenal, professional and courteous care with everyone she encountered at every step. Kudos to Upper River Valley hospital!

Husband was refused service at the ER after his family doctor told him to go there if his condition got worse.

Had a good experience with my pre-natal care and delivery. Post-delivery, they not only gave me meals but also had extra snack packs in the fridge just for post-partum moms! They also had unlimited juice, ice water, toast and crackers. Post-partum rooms were all private rooms with their own bathrooms and tubs. They provided me with everything I needed. Thanks to all the wonderful staff who made my birthing experience a positive memory!

This has to be the worst hospital ever, staff are rude the place is so dirty. You will be waiting hours everytime and unless you make a scene, everyone will just go ahead of you, everyone that comes in goes ahead of me I am in so much pain and I am the lowest level of pain they tell me. When I had a herniated disc I wanted 5 hours to see a doctor and it was hell. This place is hell.

My husband was taken there by ambulance on Friday September 29 around 11 a.m. He was out moose hunting and he has to catheterize himself and has done it for 4 years but when he did it that Friday morning he was bleeding profusely...he was terrified and laid on the ground to stop the bleeding...when he arrived at the hospital a couple of different tests were taken...Dr. O'Hagan was the Doctor and Jerry said he was very nice...Excellent Doctor....but the nurse and receptionist or both nurses he was not sure were very ignorant and very degrading and ignorant to say the least...he had blood all over his crotch area and he was told to GO to the waiting room and cover up with a blanket...and was told not too nice he was only allowed 1 CALL!!!! And, also he was talking to the security guard and he knew what was going on and Jerry said he knew he felt bad for him and he was very helpful...When I called that morning concerned to see how he was I was not treated nice at all either...she was very short...at first she was very nasty as she said no one by that name was there then she said oh yes he is then she transferred me to emergency....when I asked her she did not tell me much just that I would have to call back as she was not sure if was going to stay or be transferred....I think that us tax payers pay enough for services and all we ask is to be treated with respect and some manners!!! Thank You

I had a good experience on River Valley Hospital on my first time using it, efficient, fast, solved my problem Right there, I could see all the right preventive action in place against covid19, Thanks to all staff, and keep up the good work.

My husband had to stop at their ER on our trip home from Florida. All the staff were very professional and the wait time of about 1 hour was much shorter than at other ER's that we have used in the past. All toll we were there about 3 hours including an examination, blood work and prescriptions. Many thanks to all the staff including Dr. Al-Sharief.

Hooo golly what a time I had at this facility. Every staff member was perfectly pleasant but I was utterly dismayed to discover that the cafe was no longer available for evening meals as I sat with my ill loved ones. Saltine crackers were all I had to satisfy my hunger. Oh well I guess.

Have always been treated fairly and respectfully. We've been helped many times with our small children and ourselves. Thank you!
