After spending ten days there, with Covid19, and a broken leg, I would prefer to die peacefully at home, before having to put up with mean nurses, not caring doctors and the noise and clatter that never stops. There were only two civilized people, one of them my orderly and the physio young woman.

My aunt got wonderful care at this re-habilitation centre following a hip replacement surgery. Very attentive care. I stress, care not service. My uncle got wonderful, attentive care also in the Palliative Care unit. Great nurses and PAB's.

Unfortunately not perfect... The only defect with this hospital is the gay man who works in the cafeteria. He is rude, disrespectful, and has the fakest smile I have ever seen. He really shouldn't be working there. If not for him, this hospital would be a 5 star.

Having had to go to several hospitals for their care and another rehabilitation center, I assure you that this is by far the best (at least for East Montreal). Yes, I admit, the rehabilitation part is a bit dated and not completely adapted to the reality of the patients. Nevertheless, it is very very clean (a real household disinfection thoroughly between each departure / arrival ... not just the sideboards and the top of the extra furniture like in hospitals). Everything goes and thoroughly. Moreover no case of C. Difficile since the last 9 months. Bravo! The food is very good and varied (depending on the menu assigned to the patient). Most of the staff are very attentive, attentive and dedicated to the well-being of the patient. Beautiful large living rooms with fireplace where patients and their families can meet, organize family meals. When at the Oasis of Peace (palliative care), everything is new, again hyper clean and personal soft, attentive, kind, attentive and dedicated to improving the living conditions of the patient. (Original) Excellent centres autant pour les services de réadaptation où ma mère âgée a séjourné 3 fois (3 mois chaque fois) et où mon parrain utilise présentement les prestations de services pour les gens en fin de vie. Après avoir eu à fréquenter plusieurs hôpitaux pour leurs soins et un autre centre de réadaptation, je vous assure que c'est de loin le meilleur (du moins, pour l'Est de Montréal). Oui, j'avoue, la partie reliée aux soins en réadaptation est un peu vieillotte et pas complètement adaptée à la réalité des patients. Néanmoins, c'est très très propre (un VRAI ménage de désinfection à fond entre chaque départ/arrivée...pas juste les ridelles et le dessus des meubles d'appoint comme dans les hôpitaux). Tout y passe et à fond. D'ailleurs aucun cas de C. Difficile depuis les 9 derniers mois. Bravo! La nourriture est très bonne et variée (selon le menu attribué au patient). Le personnel est majoritairement très attentif, attentionné et dévoué au bien-être du patient. De beaux grands salons avec foyer où les patients et leur famille peuvent se retrouver, organiser des repas de famille. Quand à l'Oasis de paix (soins palliatifs), tout est neuf, encore une fois hyper propre et personnel doux, attentionné, gentil, attentif et dévoué à l'amélioration des conditions de vie du patient. L'ambiance est calme et serein. Il porte bien son nom: un vrai oasis de paix. Vive les institutions dirigées par les religieuses. Sr Pierre-Anne Mandato de la communauté de la Charité de Sainte-Marie. Elle mène ses équipes avec brio et une grande dévotion. Félicitations à cette dirigeante hors-pair et à toutes les équipes en place. Merci à vous tous!
