If you’re an Animal and are feeling a little under the weather or need vaccinating this place might be for you! Always helpful and professional they don’t appear to be just in it for the money and don’t push too much for test that they feel might be helpful! They take good care of our dog and give free nail clippings which is nice. We came this time for rabies shots and flee/heartworm meds. They did a thorough exam and all was good. If you are looking for a new vet try them out!

Brought my cat here to get checked as she was having bladder infection issues. The staff was super friendly and helpful, they made my little one feel safe and calm. The vet was very knowledgeable, diagnosed her quickly and prescribed the correct treatment. We went back for check up and she was a 100%. It was an amazing experience. I highly recommend it

Been taking my 2 year old dog here since he was a puppy. Went through the puppy plan which was great for my dog (shots, neutering) which was priced reasonably. Took my dog here for an emergency and they vet was very helpful in my dog's recovery. The vet techs and front desk people are delightful with communication and scheduling appointments. Would recommend them to animal lovers.

Superior client service! I have never been there before but brought my dying family dog there. Although it was too late for our guy by the time we got there, they walked us though his final arrangements. When the ashes were returned to us we were notified promptly and to our surprise a sympathy card arrived in the mailed signed by each of the staff!

This VCA is the only vet in the area I’ve actually liked and trusted. Dr. Snow is super great with my cat and i feel like they actually care and try to take care of him. Definitely worth coming here.

They charged my friend for a bag of food after the dog escaped from their cage. They refused to take responsibility for that. Also my male Maine Coon cat went in for a neuter and when we got him back his knee was dislocated and would pop in and out of place which made it so he couldn't jump or exercise very well. They refused to take the blame for it even though he didn't have that problem when he went in and the second he came out he did. Everyone there seemed so nice until they're not anymore. I would highly recommend that people look for a cheap vet that is not this one. I know the cost may seem appealing but there's a chance you're going to have to pay a lot more on other things if something goes wrong because they sure as hell won't take the blame!

Edit- had a horrible experience with a staff member a while back. Was unkind and rude, showed no compassion. Not sure how or why she is working in a place like that. Also, I have noticed that this vet charges a lot, way too much compared to other vets, very disappointing to learn. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Service is great. Very informative, and breaks down everything for anyone to understand thoroughly. They use their time efficiently, and we were seen promptly. Dr Vanessa is very intelligent and loves animals. All plans and prices are explained. And not to mention well priced. The service you get is just great.

I've been taking my pets here for at least ten years. The doctors are very knowledgeable and compassionate. The staff are always very personable and efficient. My questions are answered and I always feel very supported when I make a decision. The rates are reasonable and I never feel pushed to spend unnecessary money. Service is excellent and they undoubtedly know what they are doing and seem to genuinely care about the well-being of your pet. However, the past two visits I’ve had to wait approx 30 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment time to see the vet. It’s completely understandable that sometimes appointments run long, but perhaps consideration should be made to provide additional buffer time between appointments for the sanity of everyone involved - pets, vet and owners.

This is a difficult review for me to write. I want to love this place, I want it to be 5 stars. Both Dr Vanessa and Dr Snow have always been pleasant and knowledgeable to deal with and always caring. But lately the inefficiencies have me extremely conflicted. The way they have handled the current global situation has been bad to say the least. They leave patients outside in the cold and rain. Advise them to call when they arrive but don't answer the phone after 3 calls. Doesn't make you feel very valued. More so patronized. The reason I got was immune compromised employees? I'm sorry what? Does the virus also freeze outside like I almost did after 10 minutes? This system would have been acceptable at the beginning of this. But really 8 months later you couldn't install an intercom or door bell? This wasn't my first negative experience with the front desk staff either. In the past I've been given conflicting information regarding appointments +Two stars for the vets. -Two stars for poor reception. -One stars for pricing.

Had our first visit to PetVet Lakeshore on Saturday with one of our two cats who we suspected had urinary tract issues. The front desk staff were lovely and accommodating, the vet, Dr. Dennis was very thorough and kind and the vet tech, Mario was equally professional and compassionate. It was a great experience. Though we struggled to get a urine sample on Saturday, Mario offered to have Lola back Monday at which point the staff managed to get the sample, diagnose the problem and suggest corrective solutions. Lola is back home now (Monday evening) and seeming much happier with a round of antibiotics and some recommended food for her condition. Thank you very much PetVet. You've exceeded my expectations and made our family very happy while on the road to healthy!

100% robbery !! They give you a good price when you pay for the full kitten package and then try their best to surprise you with lots of HIDDEN fees(over 150$) after the included surgeries.Not to mention that you have to check the price on their bills every time you pay. They told me the collar cost about 16 and on the bill it was about 20something.. No need to ask for customer service cuz it will take you no where . They are all trained to support each others even when mistaken.Never ever will go back there nor recommend and one to ! One more thing! My kitten caught flees from their daycare I immediately took her back there to show them the flees but they denied it !! Be aware !!

Under duress today in bringing my boy in with an obvious ear infection, I was met with sub-par service, if not downright crass reception. Upon meeting with the vet, i was told that they would perform a test using a sample from his ear to determine whether the culture proved fungal or bacterial so that they could administer the proper medication. Results concluded fungal yet I was given medicine that conquers both. Then why the test? Oh right, to take my $200 bill to $300. For ear drops? In addition, expensive medication was quickly proposed to me to assist with my senior dog’s “arthritis”. A visit to a second vet quickly confirmed canine degenerative myelopathy, a condition for which arthritis medication is completely useless for.

I've been going to vca for 10 years now and never had a problem with them before. I have 3 small dogs and one got really sick with blood in her stool, and was progressively getting worse. I called vca twice to take her emergency and they told me they were completely booked.. Never called before for an emergency my first time in ten years. My dog almost went into shock but l found another vet that would take her emergency and she was able to save her life. Vca will never take care of my pets again.
