Avoid this place they only care about the money not helping your animal had to go back after treatment for them to tell me it's not better and there is little improvement then try to get me to continue on with same treatment. I walked out on them then they call and try to say I owe a checkup fee.. For what I asked cause they told me nothing new just asked all the same questions about the litter I use and the dishes I use, pathetic place put it that way

Best Vet I have ever been to. Every single time we personally get to talk to the vet and he directly let's us know all of our options. The front end staff are amazing and very well mannered. If your looking for a great vet with decent prices. I would very much suggest city vet. We have a lot of animals and we are so happy we have an awesome vet!

George and I have been going to city vet for veterinarian services for a little over 2 years now, even though the reason to visit may not be so pleasant I have always had a pleasant experience with the staff and level of care George receives. I also enjoy seeing familiar staff caring for him, helps me and George build relationships and trust for future visits. We also now use city vet for grooming, even tho this isn't Georges favorite time I am happy for how good of a job they do (better than I can do) and I dont think many groomers can compete with cost. Overall I enjoy being a customer to city vet and will continue to do so.

When we decided to get a new kitty we talked to others about who their vet was. City vet came up way more than the others. We took our little guy in for his first visit to the doc and got him checked over and started immunizations. On the following visits the staff were friendly and offered their time for any questions or concerns. Dropping in to get crunchy food or kitty treats they always ask "how's Kleyed, any concerns or issues"? These people don't just work at a veterinarian office, they genuinely love animals and care about them. 2 years in Kleyed is a happy healthy cat and I can't say enough good things about City Vet. 5 Stars in my book.

Misinformation, and misquoted prices are the most common things I'd heard about City Vet, and after dealing with them, you can add misdiagnosis to the list. We took our dog there after noticing she was in pain, so we brought her here for an emergency visit. After a quick examination, we were told she had a fever and were given antibiotics and sent on our way. The next day after no improvement, we gave her a once over and found she had sores on her back which were open and had a discharge that CVH's vet had not noticed or told us about after their exam of our pup. We took her to our usual vet who diagnosed her properly, treated her, and immediately told us to discontinue the medication City Veterinary Hospital had prescribed her which was and had been utterly useless to her. She's now much better after our vet determined what was wrong, and so we called CVH to discuss the incorrect diagnosis and why we felt we should not be charged for her examination, which was incorrect, and incomplete, we were treated with indifference. We weren't asking for anything unreasonable, and we even explained that we knew we would never see a refund for the medication they prescribed as it was essentially used, however their 'Manager of Operations' was unsympathetic that we had to pay for another vet to determine what was wrong with our pup and wasn't even willing to offer even a partial refund for their examination fee to offset the additional cost of getting her treated properly. If we had not taken her to a different vet, I'm sure they would have charged us more for another visit and tests to determine what they shouldnt have even missed in the first exam. I would most definitely AVOID City Veterinary Hospital. After this experience, it seems the only animals they care about are the quick bucks they make from people who truly care about their pets.

We had our little min pin get attacked by a bull mastiff , he was in pretty bad shape , the staff and doctor at Cityvet took very good care of our pup a nursed him back to health ???? . For that we are very great full to all involved a Cityvet I would recommend them to anyone seeking veterinary care . Thank you

Avoid this place. Took $450.00 from us for a simple blood sample that was supposed to take 2 weeks to get the results. Its been 2 months and still nothing, every time we phone they continuously tell me they will phone me back and never do. On top of that they had to sedate my animal and keep him there for 6 hours. When we finally could pick him up he was bleeding, injured and just in a very sad state of mind.

I took my 8-month-old small dog in to get his anal glands expressed. I knew they were swollen and I knew it was a simple fix. I was charged $40 for the exam, $40 for the procedure, and was also given a de-worming regimen I didn't ask for as well as probiotics instead of antibiotics for the infection. The vet tried to convince me that my dog's high-quality kibble was causing the problem, and that I should switch him to a lower-quality veterinarian diet promoted by the clinic. Very disappointed with the $150 I paid for this hour-long torture, when I could have spent less than 1/3 of that if I had travelled to Oyen to see the vets there. Glad my dog is feeling better, just disappointed at the ridiculousness that had to occur for his sake.

Brought my little chihuahua in because she was sick the girls at the front desk were lovely and made my puppy feel at home. The vet was amazing fair priced and my dog walked out a very happy puppy . Definitely deserves 5 stars

Extremely impressed !! It started with my phone conversation with Boyan he was kind , compassionate and so caring !!! We walked in the door and we were immediately taking into our room the nurse came in and went through all the details of our new puppy! The vet was amazing very kind !! We’ve been with this clinic for many years and find everyone is always so compassionate, helpful and knowledgeable. They’ve taught us how to treat our senior cats diabetes, and are now helping us get our new addition to the family off to a healthy start. Our dog went on Wednesday 9 am to the clinic. Our dog only needed a check up , deworming and an oral medicine. She was at the clinic from 9 am till 5 pm. Even so we stressed to them to call us as soon she is done. That was a way too long a stay for a simple appointment. Usually we were always very pleased with their service. I don't know what happened on this day?

Front staff very nice. This clinic is only about the money and don’t care about your pets. Had my dog spayed couple weeks ago-horrible job, incision split open and charged me more to redo the stitching than the actual spay. Do not stand behind their work at all. Had to then take her to another clinic for a third surgery to put a drain in.

I've heard mixed things about this clinic (and all clinics). But honestly, I have never had any issues. They treat my cats very well, we have been going there for years now. And I do believe their prices are quite competitive in the rest of the city. A few years ago I had to put down my 22 year old cat. The staff was so kind. Dr. Poddar is our usual vet, but he was not able to put her down. But he took the time to speak with me after. It meant a lot.

Not impressed at all with this place. Spent over 1000 and they still charged me to write my dog a prescription and also will not fax that prescription to an online pet med vendor. We are on a budget and trying to provide best possible care for our dog thus trying to get med costs down. Not aiding in this makes me feel that the care of my pet is not important, just my money

I had heard they seen reptiles, so I made an appt for my bearded dragon March 11th, we took the drive from lethbridge, and had indicated that we would like to be able to pick him up and head home by 4pm, he wasn't ready until about 530pm, and all of his results were not in. I was told I would get a call the following week. Three weeks later and I still hadn't heard anything, so I gave them a call, his results were in, but a vet needed to read them too me. I was told I would get a call back the following day, its been two weeks and nothing. I have no clue if my bearded dragon needs meds, or how sick he is. I'm just dissappointed that no one could contact me to provide me with his results good or bad.

Dr. Poddar, Bojan, and their teams are truly amazing and wonderful people! They have taken care of all my animals for me in the past. For a little bit of background, my husband and I moved from Canada to Australia. Our three cats had stayed in Canada with family until we were set up appropriately to move them. The City Vet team did the most amazing job corresponding with myself, our family, the company we hired to organise the flights (Aeropets), as well as numerous other individuals, to ensure that the cats could fly out without any issues. I am hard pressed to find anybody as dedicated and caring as people here in Australia. I strongly recommend City Vet!

DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE. He is purely trying to make as much money as possible. Inaccurate diagnoses, conducts surgery with mistakes, and they plant "fees" after "fees" on every minuscule process. His mind is on making money, not on healing the animal as a passionate and genuine vet would. I can't imagine how many animals have lost their lives due to his selfish, dishonest, and insincere work.

I would like to say that, I have the most wonderful experience with city vet. As previously dealt with previous vets, this vet will be my permanent vet. Staff and doctors and managers were so caring and humbled. With the care of our family dog. As well as us pet owners. Frequent phone calls, surgery options and the care of our dog was done so professionally and didn’t feel like just a customer. With warmth and care felt like home in away! Took our cat in to be spayed. They did not use stitches, it was like a glue to hold her incision together. She opened up and had infection. She was a farm cat. I will never go to this place again or recommend it. Horrible experience.

I take my pets to City Vet for grooming as well as medical needs . All the staff is wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable.I was also impressed that they have a separate area ( like a living room) where you can say goodbye to your pet in a more comfortable atmosphere , not the sterile exam room
