REVIEWS OF Ste. Anne Hospital IN Manitoba

Brody Wiebe

Very quick care and freindly doctors.

Ryley Penner

Had a fish bone stuck in my throat and they barely looked at me and told me to wait it out and that it's probably just a scratch in my throat.... Brutal. I see now how they have short wait times, they don't do anything for you.

LAECIE LEVESQUE

Such kind and knowledgeable nurses and Dr. Fixed my son's broken arm. Wait time was little, far better then waiting 4+ hours in the city.

Kimberley Sawatzky

The level of care we received during the delivery of our first baby far exceeded anything we expected. Unbelievably caring and helpful nurses and doctors. I can't praise them enough.

Daniel Howard

Fantastic rural hospital, good staff.

Ryan Dueck

Great Emergency Service. They were great when I was in a bad accident. They stabilized me before sending me on to Winnipeg.

Doctors here only focused on making money off of covid tests, which are proven by fact by UofM professors to have false positive rates of above 60%. I bet the doctors at this facility prefer patients to die alone without seeing their families. For shame. Have some honour. Follow your Hippocratic oath you took in school or just quit. Humanity does not approve of monetary gain over health gain. Not impressed. Great nurses though.

I went here a couple months ago for extreme stomach pain, they told me it's an ER and that I was not having an emergency. I then went to Winnipegs health center and it turned out that my appendix was about to burst.

Glen Buchanan

Caring, thorough and efficient. Staff excellent!

Nick Benjamin

Entire staff is pleasant and professional and genuine. Nobody loves needing the hospital. But I am so grateful our community hospital accels.

Kaelyn Vincent

The nurses here rock ????????

Jamie Goossen

A wonderful place! We had our third child born here (c-section) and the whole team was wonderful! Gave us great care and treated us like they truly cared! Thanks to all of you!!

Andrew Dueck

We had a 09:00 appointment it's 10:20 and my wife finally had to tell them she had a baby who needed feeding in the vehicle to get things moving. When you say 09:00 then please be ready for us at 09:00. I thought that was the reason for an appointment. If we had been told come and be ready to wait hours we probably wouldn't have brought all the children along.

Best hospital this side of the Red. Always get in quick and staff is very friendly. I trust this hospital quite a bit, and I've never been done wrong here.

Thank You to the Nursing staff working Thursday April 8 2021 4pm - 6pm. I was in extreme pain and vomiting every few minutes. you made me wait behind sprained ankles and sore knees, you put me in a cold room by myself while I shivered in the cold, I was scared and you were indifferent uncaring inconsiderate, Thank You to the Tech who took my blood saw I shaking from being cold and went and got me a blanket. Thank You to the Doctor who took care of me with understanding and caring

Justin Woodcock

Racist staff. There was a major accident and my friends were in emergency. They went to check in and weren't allowed in, despite the others from the other car being able to. They were told to wait in the car. They needed some water and they refused to give any. Finally they slipped a small cup of water through the doors and told them to return to the vehicle. All those involved are black, other car in the accident was not black and they were allowed to go inside the hospital and treated normally. Despicable behaviour from health 'professionals'. Our healthcare system shows once again that systemic racism is rampant and those seeking care are the ones who suffer.

Bill Schwabe

Called in to see how busy it was. I was told not busy at all. Come here, wait around, speak to a nurse and they said there's no doctor present. When I asked for an eta, I was told they have no idea at all. Typical rural health care.

We got about as rude a welcoming as anyone could receive yesterday. I have 40+ years of healthcare experience (as a professional) and this is the worst case of unprofessional behaviour by staff I have ever received at admittting/emerg. & that I have seen directed to relatives who are "helping the helpless". One of the entry staff failed to acquire facts and was totally unprofessional to deal with while we were assisting a family member who was in immense pain, immobile and needed our help that staff didn't give to ensure her safety - this staff member (RN?) used "Covid" as an excuse to abuse my wife and me verbally (calling us "visitors") while we secured the safety of a relative (we are fully vaccinated > 2 weeks). Yet our initial contact person had no problem with what we were doing to assist a family member. We were actually at more risk than we were to them as this facility allows non vaccinated persons to enter. We would not recommend this facility to anyone for care based on our experience, go elsewhere if possible if your health needs are non emergency. I'd give zero stars if it was possible. Not "health care" as defined, "abuse of power" , on a "power trip" might be more appropriate.

I’m not one to provide reviews on health care services as I’ve rarely been required to obtain them (I thank god for that). That being said, I was scheduled for an inguinal hernia surgery procedure. My triage time was scheduled for 7am- I arrived at 645am as instructed by the hospital and was prepared and briefed for surgery as scheduled. The nurses who reviewed my charts, prepared me for surgery, and briefed me on the procedure were nothing short of amazing (Natalie, Elaine, the nurse from N. Kildonan- my apologies for forgetting your name ☺). Their compassion, empathy, sense of humor, and above all else, their attention to detail and professionalism were textbook attributes on how superior health care services should be- they portrayed it naturally. I also want to commend my anesthesiologist, Dr. Workentine (hope I spelled that right) for the way he explained the procedure to me and portraying the confidence and integrity required to fulfill his responsibilities- keeping me alive while Dr. P. Galessiere performed his magic (much appreciated Dr. Galessiere- grazia ☺) Meeting all you wonderful individuals were attributed to unfortunate circumstances however, its individuals like all of you that restore my sincere faith and respect in our Manitoba health care system. Thank you and God Bless you all Franc

Excellent care from Dr Paul Galessiere and medical team. Special thanks to Natalie and Sam at Day Surgery. Unit exceptionally clean. Merci!

Caycia Rosevear

The MOA (receptionist) is very unprofessional and rude, there’s no excuse for that when you’re working in a setting where you are dealing with people that need medical help.

Chris Mcdougall

April Peters

I always head out to St. Anne hospital from Winnipeg when l need medical attention. The staff and Doctors provide excellent service that exceeds expectations, and typically in far less time than to even be recognized in the city.. The Hospitals in the big city should study how its done out in St. Anne..
