Mapping needs improvement

Went to the ER for a broken ankle. Told me is was a "clean" fibula break, casted me and said I'll have it on for 8-12 weeks. Pain and swelling increased the following week so I went to Pan Am. The doctor there could not believe what happened to me. Said the x-rays done in Pinawa were not even clear and doctor set it wrong. Ended up actually having multiple breaks and needed emergency surgery that week to put in a plate and 6 screws. If I would've followed Pinawa Hospital instructions, Pan Am said it would be too late for surgery and I wouldn't be able to walk the same. Beware of this hospital and make sure you follow up with another doctor if you must go here.

The current budget climate and availability of full time medical personnel challenges the title Hospital. That said, they are a wonderful, patient, professional and caring team. My father spent the last weeks of his life in the care of these folks and began referring to it as Home.

Tried phoning about a patient that was admitted because I forgot to give him his phone, went down the rabbit hole of "if you're looking for this please call here" and ended up with the pharmacy instead.

Horrible..My sister was there for a few months while waiting Placement elsewhere..all of her clothes and an expensive pair of slippers disappeared..with multiple excuses as to why. She arrived at her new facility with the shirt on her back and the pants she had on. Multiple tshirts in her suitcase ..none of which belonged to her. She shared a room for her last 2 weeks with someone who was cognitively impaired as she was..They fought..but did anyone think to separate them ...No. As a nurse I have not 1 good thing to say about this hospital and am relieved she is no longer there.

Came all the way here from the lake to have my daughter looked at to find out that they have no doctor at the hospital! Site says open 24 hours! Total bs
