DESCRIPTION

Here you have all the feddbacks of real people who are purchasing the services of Deer Lodge Centre (Hospital) in Manitoba (Canada).

Nowadays this firm receives a rating of 2.1 over 5 and this rating was based on 23 reviews.

You must have seen that it has an average rating is very insufficient, and it's based on a high number of reviews, so we may be pretty sure that the score is very accurate. If people have bothered to value when they've done well, it works.

You know that we do not usually stop to place feddbacks when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...

This Hospital belongs to the category of Rehabilitation center.

The team at Deer Lodge does a great job of looking after my aunt and keeping me in the loop from afar. I don't give 5s.

Beware of OSI treatment here. These people are dangerous to your mental health. They give you no choice in your treatment or any say in what works and dose not work for you. I really have to liken it to a communist (or Dictatorship) way of doing business. You will have to follow their agenda no matter what your problems are or you will be released from the program. Some counsellor are excellent and are great to work with but then you have the major problem of Management. After all, these people are an outside group from the military and no matter what you try to tell them how the military works, they ether don't understand or choice to ignore it as it doesn't fit into their way of doing thing. There is not one person, at the time of writing this review, that has any background or real knowledge of what military personal are like or what the military is like. Most of them have never set foot on a military base. So, you have to ask yourself, how can they help you if they: 1. Don't understand you 2. Dont understand you way of life 3. Have no or little knowledge of what the military is all about 4, Have no idea of the military life. 5. Have a strong propensity to dismiss anything of military life. The management is more interested in making money than helping people. The are a greedy group that is contracted by DVA and put the bottom line at the top of their priorities. If you are Active Service or Retired, this organisation could be dangerous and I cannot emphasise strongly enough the danger of being treated by unqualified people and a management that believe only in profit. My advice to you is to Stay Away from these people and seek help at a difference organisation who will at least try to look into your background and the lifestyle of a Military person. OSI at Deer Lake is a Danger to You!

Not a nice place if you need consistency’s and help, they are of no help and more harm than good. The will just quit your treatment and recovery and send you packing with no support in a pandemic. Just kick you to the curb and not even care if you can get prescription that they start.

DO NOT GET YOUR TST HERE!!! One of the occupational nurses did not show up on time twice in a row for the scheduled appointment making others and myself wait a ridiculous amount of time. She also took my TST form and guess what? I can’t get it back because 1. SHE DOESNT SHOW UP 2. WHY WOULD I GO BACK AND WAIT FOR HER AGAIN!!!!! RIDICULOUS

My mum Has taken residency. We were pleasantly surprised to have met and conversed with the Care Coordinator and nurses for my mum. The staff are caring and don't seem to overwhelmed. I can't understand why. The meals purely represent the best definition of hospital food. But you try to feed hundreds with every food issue or health issue you could imagine. Hat's off to the Food Service Director. The parking is a joke. You can get a ticket visiting veterans that represent this country. Shame on the "City of Winnipeg"

doll lovely

They DON’T treat their patient or resident as human. All of them are mean. They won’t help. I rather die than live here, don’t send your family here please. I wish I could give them 0 star.

Food is horrible

Worst food. Staff is very inconsistent in care. My physical condition has deteriorated since I have been here. They down care about the patient. Avoid this place. There has to be better.

I hate having to give this facility a one star rating, because there were some very dedicated and competent people who assisted my Mom, but sadly, they were the exception, not the rule. In two months, my Mom was bathed twice. She was yelled at, forgotten and generally mistreated by nearly every other staff member. Overdosing her on Vitamin D put her in line to be prescribed a dangerous new class of drugs (OAB meds), but thankfully I discovered the racket before she started taking these drugs. For the record, excessive vitamin D causes frequent nighttime urination. Do not let anyone you love take OAB meds! After she left, she took part in the Day Hospital once a week. She was responsible for transportation fees, and now Deer Lodge has decided she hasn't fully paid. Discussion after discussion with their staff has indicated that she does not owe them money, but they have now sent the debt to collections. Addendum: I upped my review to two stars because my Mom ended up at Seven Oaks, and I can't justify giving Deer Lodge the same rating as Seven Oaks. Seven Oaks has lowered the bar so far, but zero stars isn't an option.

Deer Lodge Centre - What can I say about them. Never take your grandparents or parents to go live there... because I tell you that you'll be making funeral arrangements...

Warning ~ Doctors get paid by prescription. OSI prescribes the same way my old employers doctor did. The difference between my old employer, is the OSI gets rich on clients down fall. The more the OSI prescribes the more funds come in. I left the OSI and stopped the FIST full of medication. I have never been better in my treatment as I am today writing this. When I asked for help other than medications. The OSI decided I was too distort and could not make a decision on my own. In the end I made the best life changing decision one person could ever make by walking away from the OSI. Forgot to mention if the OSI doesn’t agree on your decision they will call the RCMP and Children Services. Dealing with the agency’s the OSI called on me was extremely hard considering the lies they said about me.. Still would not change my decision for a second. I’m not saying this will work for you but I will say from experience. The OSI Clinic does not and will never have your best interests in mind.
