Found this auberge thanks to Tuango, all day ski lift tickets at Mont Orford were included with our stay (also, it was less than 10min drive to go ski!). Staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean. We had a great stay and would definitely come back :D

Donc beaucoup d’humidité causée par le système de ventilation de l’air climatisé. - Pas de balcon, pour profiter du grand air du lac le matin et changer l'air de la chambre, tout est fermé hermétiquement - Finalement nous nous sommes demandé si nous devions faire le ménage de la chambre avant de partir. - Ils sont entré dans la chambre, sans nous demandé notre avis, lorsque nous étions absent. - Ca ne vaut pas le prix, aucunement. - Finalement allez dans cet Auberge c’est être traité comme des enfants qui sont réprimandés avant même d’avoir fait un mauvais coup. - le seul bon point, c'est situé à proximité du centre ville.

I found the room to be comfortable, clean. The staff is great, very accommodating (I showed up early and my room was prioritized, I didn’t ask!) I didn’t try the restaurant. The location is perfect, short walk from the main drag. My only issue, spotty wifi.. very spotty wifi. Can’t really watch anything more than 2 minutes at a time or less. Still Very good for the cost. Great location and friendly staff. Rooms are not quiet and old looking. I was lucky enough to be located near the stairs where until 1:59am I could here people walking. TV if you need it because of the not so soundproof rooms then you might want to be sure your TV remote works because ours did not... Beds and pillows are really soft and I haven’t been in a hotel or motel with double beds since I have been a kid. Being 6 foot it’s definately not ideal. Would only recommend it for its central location. Otherwise it was hard to find space to park my car and not very updated.

But then came the next surprise, since the breakfast was not included and we had to pay $ 16 again. When we asked for a room for the next night, the lady gave us a price, which we accepted as well. By a change of room we had to check in again. At check in turned out then, that it was only the net price without tax, etc., which made the room again just under $ 30 more expensive ... So better 3x ask, what price and included services! The rooms in the hotel are very well maintained, clean and the beds very comfortable. There is also a roof terrace, where you can sit wonderfully. The park is just around the corner and everything within walking distance. (Original) Wir sind erst mitten in der Nacht im Hotel angekommen und beim Check in wurde uns gesagt, dass es Frühstück von 6:00 -10:30 Uhr gibt und es im Zimmerpreis inkludiert ist. Am nächsten Morgen wurde uns dann um 10:00 Uhr mitgeteilt, dass es Frühstück nur bis 9:30 Uhr gab. Netterweise hat die Dame uns dennoch bedient und das Frühstück war au h sehr lecker. Dann kam jedoch die nächste Überraschung, da das Frühstück doch nicht inkludiert war und wir noch mal 16$ zahlen mussten. Als wir nach einem Zimmer für die nächste Nacht fragten, nannte die Dame uns einen Preis, den wir so auch akzeptierten. Durch einen Zimmerwechsel mussten wir neu einchecken. Beim Check in stellte sich dann heraus, dass es nur der Netto Preis ohne Tax usw.war, wodurch das Zimmer nochmal knapp 30$ teurer wurde...Also lieber 3x nachfragen, was Preis und inkludierte Leistungen angeht!
Die Zimmer im Hotels und aber sehr schön gepflegt, sauber und die Betten sehr komfortable. Zudem gibt es eine Dachterasse, auf der man wunderbar sitzen kann. Der Park ist direkt um die Ecke und alles fußläufig erreichbar.
