Excellent care with an amazing team of health professionals. My nurses rocked!

Alexander Paquette

Was there for 2 hours which compared to the walk in clinics in london was fast. Staff were polite and fast. When I was able to see the doctor he was great and diagnosed my problem fast (outer ear infection) prescribed some meds and I was out. If you ever have the expection to go to urgent care and be seen in less then 30 mins to an hour your dreaming. I always anticipate a 2 hour plus wait.

Stevie Lyn

I was there yesterday and I had an excellent nurse, as well as the Doctor. I was seen quickly, & was out of there fast since I didn't even get my butt n the chair when I was called in. Thanx to the staff at Urgent Care.

Steven Boismier

I have been here many times.i have been treated with dignity every time .The infectious disease team have saved me from sepsis and I am eternally grateful.Thank you staff and md

Hyperhez5

If I actually saw a doctor is maybe be able to give a better rating. I'd like to know how the triage process works. For having 3 doctors on, there shouldn't be a 3 hour wait if you show up shortly after opening. I'll just clog up the ER next time

Evelyn Cameros

Amazing! The staff and doctor are extremely professional and caring. Last year, I came and I was treated like a queen. This time, I came and they do take care of you. Doctor and staff treated me like royalty

I've gone here twice now for hand related fractures and they have been very prompt at getting me to the X-ray department and back to see a doctor. Wait times can be long, but doctors do a good job to explain thing to the patients and eagerly show / explain the x-rays when I have asked to have a look.

Absolutely fantastic care from all the employees today. I injured my knee and in a lot of pain. Not an ideal way to spend Christmas, but the care was outstanding.

Lynn

They're okay, however be prepared to wait. Im here right now because my manager needs proof i was here and have a broken wrist. I've been here since 8 am it's now 10.15am and I'm still waiting for a paper that says I can't lift things. Takes 5 minute's.

Christine Hylands

Awesome staff and clinic!

Please Be Aware!!! This place sometimes closes early Call if its close to 6:00 pm (4:00 pm weekends and stats) to make sure they are still accepting patients!

Sabrina Easler

Have only been here once. Excellent experience from the auxiliary staff and doctor I saw. Great bed side manner, took my illness seriously and did not make me feel rushed. On site X-ray was very convenient and results on the spot. Would highly recommend this facility. The wait is as to be expected for any urgent care unit.

Samet Kasik

Very friendly and professional staff and short wait time - 75 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. I’m amazed!

I had to get my stitches taken out due to the doctor I went to previously not taking them all out. They were amazing! I was only there for maybe 2 hours and the doctor came into my room like a minute or two after the nurse left. They were all so kind to me and helped me with this issue that I was dealing with for months! I also got help with my joints by being referred to their hand clinic, so I'm excited to be back to normal! Thank you to everyone who helped me!!!

Came here for first time today for a swollen foot. The staffs at urgent care were kind, swift, and effective. I had to wheelchair to the pharmacy which was hard on my arms and one lovely volunteer stepped up to help me. Will definitely come here again for medical issues.

10/10 Experience at St. Joseph’s Urgent Care. Was there at 5pm on a Friday and they took my husband in despite being closed at 6pm. We saw Dr. Shah in less than a half hour and he was so kind, thorough and knowledgeable. He was everything you could want from a doctor, and wish he could be our family doctor!

XDnightmare3

I've been waiting 90 minutes and still haven't even checked in! Online it says it's "less busy than usual"...what a disappointment

Lise Masse

I was very disappointed when I found out that you are not available 24/7. I needed care badly for a sore foot and you were closed at ar 6:05pm. Hospitals should be open all the time. I'm not accustomed to being in need so you can imagine my surprise What do you mean by urgent care then if you pick and choose who to care for. You are not a hospital but a clinic and that should be made more clearly. I dealt with UWO Hospital emergency services and they were wonderful. That's where I will go from now on.

Raman Singh

Name should not be urgent care centre ! As it could take 4-5 hours just to get a prescription.

Kathleen Reid

In and out in 15 min. Staff was amazing and met above and beyond for me! Started to get busy as I was leaving....

Harry Crocker

Very thorough in testing, great staff, very helpful Do great work for community Only concern is they overbooked for more than one occasion, probably longer testing Goin on,but 10 ppl in waiting room is way tooo crowded, waiting for blood work etc,but still great hospital!

Richard Eagar

Huge wait, outside, in a cold wind tunnel, no interaction with staff whatsoever. Left after 45 minutes and seeing that not one of the 12 people in front of us had gone into the building. If this continues into the winter weather they are going to be treating patients for frostbite as well as whatever malady they have originally gone there for.

The doctors are not helpful at all here. I went in with a severe cough - the doctor just brushed me off and suggested I wait it out. He didn’t seem to listen to what was wrong nor did he seem to care and kept shrugging every time I explained my symptoms. I also got prescribed with the WRONG medicine too. If you’re a young doctor, please become more educated in your field before giving medical advice to patients. I will never be returning here again.

Natasha Patey-Vest

It's hit or miss. Wait time of 2-4hours generally. Drs are kind and helpful, nurses could be less snarky. The amount of times I've left because the nurses have been condescending is not right. If you can't treat people properly, you're in the wrong profession.

Z Chao

Recommended i take a over the counter pill that would have seriously reacted with my medication for chronic pain. Didnt take temperature or scan anything, ive had the worst headaches in my life this year, tylenol doesnt help

Joshua Henderson

The doctor gave me dangerous and incorrect information. The doctor barely listened, said arrogantly there's nothing to do for the extreme back pain I was in. Go to university hospital, get the real answer, I was prescribed physiotherapy, month later I can actually move. It doesn't matter how fast the wait time is if the doctors are dangerously wrong.

Melissa Mask

Getting the desired outcome for our visit. Learned physicians only have 12 minutes per patient, so you MUST be focused and describe the health issue of most concern. Other ailments may be deemed irrelevant. So help them out and know what you need from these incredibly busy health care providers!

I’ve gone to urgent care several times now with eye related issues. Every single time I’ve gone, the staff were absolutely fantastic. My only issue is the time it takes to see a doctor, though. I hope someday our government can fix the issue. Anyways, thanks for your help and keep up the good work St bJoes.

Only69morewaves

I went into urgent care several times in the past few weeks. I can’t believe how efficient and well organized it is. It’s wonderful to see our tax dollars working, well. I would also like to thank the wonderful staff, including the doctors who looked after me. Very kind and compassionate during the worst time of most of our lives. While most of us are in hiding of the deadly virus, these hard working people continue to help others. Thanks

Went today for my daughter's ear infection and was seen right away. In and out within 30mins at most. Nurses were very sweet and friendly. Dr.Feldhoff was so sweet and gentle most of all efficient and educated my daughter on things she shouldn't do for a while. Thank you to the staff for such a pleasant experience.

We've lived in London for at least 18 yrs, during that time we(3 adults)have used all the hospitals here. My list goes from the best on down, but all are very close and getting better with time. St.Joseph's/urgent care, being the closest and used more often. Always courteous, friendly, efficient. Victoria is pretty much even. University's third, Strathroy 4th, and St Thomas 5th. The last 2 are good, I have less experience with them. Hope that helps

My husband went there yesterday after battling a cold, we thought, shivers, diharea high fever, lots of cough and pain. He was told to take tylenl or Advil. Which he was already. No blood test no urine sample. He is actually getting worse. He was told to wait it off. Ugh... He had been!!!!! Terrible doctor. No compassion.. Now what am I suppose to do ??? Our doctor is on vacation.

Melissa Love

My son was in there Thursday as he has some sort of throat infection . Which flared up from the vaccine. Still waiting to hear back about swab taken It's now Sunday. :( Have still not heard back . Getting worse guess were going back. :(

Javier Ramos

Waste of time not really usifull.

Catherine Galley

Took DH there this morning because of a fall. Very efficient service, everyone very pleasant, so lucky to have this resource! In and out in around 2 hours.

Broke left my foot and check hours of clinic, got in my car and head to StJ urgent care because parking was close to entrance. Hobbled in pain, from car to the front desk. They had hit their maximum capacity at around 3pm, and COULD NOT look after me at all. I cried because just getting there was so hard. Asked for a cane or crutch that I could use to get back to my car. An orderly kindly offered me a wheelchair and was allowed to push me to the the end of the hospital property. This cut down on the distance and pain to get to my car. Got into my car and Went to University Emergency, but when I saw the distance from parking, to the entrance of emergency, I realized it was just too far for me to try again. I had to go home and figure out how to get inside cause swelling/pain was now worse. I will figure out how to get to hospital tomorrow, after I have had a good cry, pain meds, ice and sleep. Bad experience…..but obvIously, STAFF IS WORKING TO THEIR MAX, thank you. Note: URGENT CARE CAN TURN YOU AWAY, so don’t expect to get care IF YOU GO AFTER 3pm as they might have reached their CLINIC MAXIMUM by that time. The is no online notification when they reach their max either, so you never know…IRRESPONSIBLE ADMIN. JUST GO TO HOSPITAL EMERGENCY, if any doubt.

I went today with migraines and a stye in my eye. Dr Maxwell saw me 3 hours later and told me that there was nothing he could do about the stye and that I should find an ophthalmologist. When I told him that I also suffered from many migraines, he replied that only one symptom could be seen per patient, that I should seek a walk-in clinic or any other clinic. What kind of professional is that? They forget that their salary comes from our taxes. I do not recommend that you waste your time there.

One of the best hospitals in LONDON for emergency..Well Respected, understanding, caring staffs..BRAVO. I came today afternoon for my son emergency and the staffs were right there with full attention to take care of my son, when I really needed those attention. Fell in my mom's drive way in a pot hole twisted my foot pretty bad they didn't even x-ray my foot was so swollen I couldn't wear my shoe told me to home and ice it 3 years later I'm still having issues with it went to a doctor found out I had a healed small bone fracture now when I do to much my foot swells to balloon size and I'm only in my 30's

Laura Farnsworth

I had a great experience getting to the bottom of my pain at the Urgent Care clinic when a different hospital did not seek answers for me. What a great place. Every staff member was so nice and put me at ease. All my tests were done and the cause of my pain was revealed in a relatively short amount of time. Thanks to all the staff working together to form such a lovely community of carers. :)

Took my partner here once and was about to again but they're closed. Minus 1 star for short business hours. Our regular drs office is closed which is where I figured where these types of places come in. Guess its the hospital to likely wait 6 hrs for care. Side note: other cities (stoney creek-hamilton) have urgent care centers open far later. I hope they extend their hours beyond that of some regular drs offices.

Have been here several times and it is a complete gamble for wait times. I have waited as little as 2 hours to as much as 4 hours + before getting up and walking out. They should have posted wait times like Vic used to have so I don’t waste 2 hours in the waiting room before being told I have to wait another 2 hours once I get a room... As a side note the wait time of even two hours is completely unacceptable. A private clinic in the states would have me in and out in half an hour with a script in hand and swab competed and sent for culture. Which brings me to my final point of frustration. Went in for a persistent throat infection that was getting really bad. Doctor wrote me a script for penicillin but refused to do a throat culture. Claimed “I don’t do throat cultures they are a waste of time and money”. When questioned as to his logic, he stated the penicillin would kill anything anyways and if it didn’t go away to come back. How about you do the culture and than I’ll decide if I get the script filled when the result come back so I don’t waste my time and health on a course of antibiotics I may not even need.

Went to St Joseph's urgent care this morning and everyone was professional and courteous from the initial greeter to the doctor. Well done!

Madeline Duffy

Absolutely phenomenal care. Everyone was so nice and helpful.

Tracey Nickles

Been here since 130pm it's now 533 no telling what time I'll be out of here today there is nothing to eat or drink js wait until they decide who is 1st ...pitiful sad health care no respect for people

Jessica Rodgers

After hearing horror stories about Victoria, I decided to go to St Joe's. I'm glad I did. Went to urgent care for a broken toe at 745am, was out of there by 910am. Every staff member that I encountered was kind and friendly.

Melissa Mills Cruickshank

They are always extremely kind and helpful. Yes, there is a wait, but they take the time to explain your conditions and help come up with solutions.

jasmine verma

They usually takes a lot of time and their services are very bad.

Kayleigh Smith

Urgent care should not discriminate based on disabilities. You are an urgent care centre?! Are you not? Pathetic service.

영K

Very very rude. For whatever reason, the nurse was very unfriendly and annoyed. The doctor was not interested in listening to me and arrogantly told me that there is nothing he can do about my symptoms and pain. Then why do they exist? Quite shocked about the quality of their health care. Simply useless! I wish that those health care providers actually care about patients as they are also paid by tax payers. Very disappointing. Perhaps, AI doctors and nurses would be much better than them.

V Barton

The old man walmart greeter at the front is such a douchebag. Not helpful at all and condescending

András Szemerédy

Staff is friendly, courteous, tireless. Professional. Beware: wait time from arrival to be seen by doctors can vary from 0 hours to 7 hours at times. I encountered only one female nurse so far of the many-many kind ones who seemed to have been on a power trip as far as giving out helpful, basic, non-medical info. I am very satisfied with the service here.

Scrumble Bop297

Although this is coming from a year ago I went in with suspected appendicitis (sent in from a doctor's office with a slip to get me in faster) I was sat in a room for almost 5 hours before a doctor came in and told me the ultrasound machines operator went home then decided to transfer me to Victoria hospital (just as a side note. from the doctors office we were told to go to urgent care)

S P

An amazing experience. Staff were very helpful, medical staff were pleasant and cheerful. Wait times were minimal. Professional welcoming experience. Well done. Lots of parking although you have to pay to park on the street on Saturdays, not on Sundays. #localguides

Mateo Sanchez

Bad experience, doctor didnt listen to needs, tried to explain I used all of the methods offered and nothing helped, basically sent me off and told me I had to wait it out after getting an X-ray for acute bronchitis. if I could recommend, try to go to a family doctor instead or anything else but here

I would like to thank Dr. Lin and all his staff for everything and the treatment they gave me when I had to get stitches in my hand due to a gardening accident. They are great people and thanks for keeping people calm during this pandemic. Great work. Bryan Patterson

Broke my hand and went in to get an xray and cast. Got there at 7:30 am and there was a small line. At 8am when it opened the line went fairly quick. I was in and out if there in just over an hour with x-rays, splint/cast and referral to the hand clinic. Very impressed with the speed of being fast tracked through it all!

Noman Ayoub

Staff is non cooperating. Too much wait time.

Ash D

Does covid make all the doctors move slower? Like this place used to have some hussel!! Now every doctor and nurse walks around like a snail, and I wait 4+ hours when it's not even busy!?

Theresa Wilson

Attended Wednesday May 23rd. The intake and triage runs so smooth and efficient. I needed xrays and was sent there immediately. Waited for a short time. Techs were very busy but staff was aware of activity in ortho area and balanced the load by taking me there. Genius! Xrays taken and sent back. Once seen in UC I learned I had a fracture. Care at ALL levels was kind, very informative and efficient. It was a positive experience despite my diagnosis.

K

Had an unfortunate experience last week. The doctor brushed me off and told me to wait out my problem. This is the second time that this particular doctor has brushed me off, and the first time I had a burst ovarian cyst and a very large abdominal bleed.

Des Stutchbury

They treated my pain but the next day they refused me treatment and said I could do it their way(get a bag) or die. Socialized medicine at it's worse.

Kristi Dow

Staff were fantastic and very helpful. They were very friendly.

heffe carto

Went in for a broken hand, got an x-ray and cast in under 2 hours. Would do again 10/10 (visit St. Joseph's, not break hand)

Kenneth Chisholm

For those in urgent medical need that don't require the city's Emergency Rooms, this place is ideal. I fractured my wrist and I was advised to come to this place on the advice of a walk-in clinic. Upon arrival, I was processed, examined and treated within two hours. For Londoners in similar medium-level states of need, this place is the place to go to take the load off our city's Emergency Rooms and Trauma Centres for those who truly need them.
