My stepfather, a naval vet from WWII, was the recipient of their care for many years. I found nothing to complain about and much to be grateful for the whole time. I suspect they added many years to his life.

Great staff and very clean!

I take my mom here and the care she receives has been very good. The reason for my rating is to call attention to the parking machine that is located at the entrance of the parking. I simply cannot imagine a more hateful and inappropriate machine for a geriatric hospital. Almost every single person has to get out of their car and deal with this machine (whatever the weather) due to its complete lack of ergonomics (it's shaped like a brick), poorly lit and misleading instructions and the fact that it demands flat rate payment before entering the parking. And to repeat, almost every car is driven by a person that is very old. It has been this way for at least 2 years, and I am mystified as to why it has not been fixed yet. Apparently there is a new company under contract to replace the machine, however I tried to call them to verify and none of their phone numbers work, so we're off to a good start!

They fired my mom on a single false harassment report by a dude who had dementia. HR is a complete joke. Bad place to work at!

Patients might as well be prisoners in there. The visitation rights are ridiculous.

Fairly mediocher institution. Lighting is poor, food is passable, decor is dated but had acceptable upkeep. Tims in the cafeteria is appreciated.

I have no words to describe the features of this hospital. I want to recommend this hospital to needy one as here everyone is totally committed to patient care and rehabilitation.

Saved my life when my head was hit by a truck going 60km/hour. Lots of brain damage, collapsed lungs, ribs broken, but I'm fine now sorta. Kinda wish Lerners didn't take all my millions of dollars and feed it to the trolls and take a good 700 thousand out of the 850 thousand they said I needed. I wish the 850,000 dollars could have went toward people to help me instead of insult me. I don't think taking 1.4 million dollars and investing it to get only 3000 dollars back is a very good return. They take out a life insurance plan so the insurance company gets all the money back when my life is over.

St Joseph's Healthcare London was one of the few A+'s from CBC's rate my hospital, I think this is fairly accurate

Thank you for your kindness and caring for my husband. He is having a very difficult time dealing with dementia and the terrible Covid 19 restrictions which means he can not see any of his loved ones.

He seems like a good doctor so far that actually cares but his secretaries never, and I mean NEVER answer the phone and they are yet to reply to the multiple voicemails I've been leaving since last week to set up my dads appointments.

I am thankful for Parkwood Mental Health facility. Thanks to all the staff, doctors ,nurses, security guards, and the housekeeping who has to clean after every body. You have a big job to do and you all do it well. My family and I are greatful for your services. I am especially greatful that your facility is right in London and very great for accessibility. You all work in a beautiful building, so so big though you get lost, lol. Love you all, stay safe!

I can't complain about anything, after all the friendly and wonderful services they have provided for me. As a bonus, the surroundings in the area are beautiful. They have a nice, outside walking area that goes through some of this scenery on their property; if you are interested in more, there is a massive forest area behind with trails to walk and hike on. I only took a couple of pictures of the main hospital entrance (taken late October).

It is an excellent facility. But have concern regarding the out door ambulatory team of mantle health. Ist they dont treat patient and their attendants according to patient and attendant needs they go by rubbish policy. And they are so rigid and stronch that they dont understand the problem of other side. We dont go to doctor by studong and understanding all poilicies 2nd their outpatient doctors are in accessible and I seem helpless sometimes if I want to contact them. Their nurses donot make you meet the doctor. I think this is also the saint jose policy matter. I wonder if anyone else is ever become a target of their policy matter but i has happened to me. Also I feel myself very helpless in this regard. I apologize in advace if I hurt someone but this is my feeling which I wanted to share.

I have been a patient for many years. My doctor left suddenly with no notice. My new psychiatrist. Has been accusing, confrontational, bullying, and has no care of my well being. Only says and thinks I am a alcoholic and drug addict. Cut me off some of my medications that I was taking for a long time. No substance abuse treatment was offered. And I don't think that she cares if I hurt myself. Which I won't do. She is very difficult to deal with and doesn't show any compassion. I am left bewildered and confused. I used to like going there before She became my doctor. Never have I had a good visit with her. I am sure that if I took my life she would be happy. But I won't. I will share my story to all that will listen. I sought help from the patient advocate who made an appointment with me but wasn't there I have left messages that were not returned. I am now seeking help through the college of physicians and surgeons. Further more I got a letter stating that a Dr's car was stolen and had my medical information in it that was never recovered when police found this vehicle.

They all try their best with what they are given. Bless those Soldiers that fought for your freedom. Pay them back with a visit.

Parkwood Wellington was fairly easy to get around. At LHSC staff knew all the back door routes with their tags to unlock doors as running around. Funny as heck when someone is nearly wandering into the OR.

I cannot conceive why anyone would give negative feedback here. My father (RCAF Vet) lived at home until close to the age 98 then developed bad habits and with senility and lack of physical control setting in fast, resulting in a series of falls. With the help of some CCAC angels, we got him admitted to Parkwood within 3 weeks. I cannot say enough good things about Parkwood - they give a highly personal, customized, loving and efficient care to our Vets. My father is safe, cozy, kept busy and entertained, and surrounded by wonderful, cheerful nurses and doctors and I finally have peace of mind. The specialists and MSW personnel that work for him email me or call me just about every week, asking for approvals, opinions and extra background info in order to take the best decisions for him. My father had stayed there 3 years ago for his post hip surgery convalescence and that was also a positive experience. The nurses are trained in wound management by the famous Dr. Keast, so there is nothing they cannot handle. I am assured that my father's last years will be happy and free from worry.

It is a very good hospital versus 850 Highburry for mental health care????

Freddy Farris

My father was admitted here after a stroke and they took very good care of him. The nurses were very friendly, along with the rest of the staff I had dealings with. At no point did I get a sense that they were trying to rush him out but actually the opposite, that they were thorough before releasing him. I found it as pleasant as could be expected visiting him.

I cannot even begin to tell you how very much I appreciate the skill, dedication and empathy shown by the people at Parkwood Hospital. The occupational therapist (Janet) is in a class by herself, and the physiotherapists all show exceptional personal qualities and an incredible patience when working with patients. When telling a friend that my wife was going to Parkwood for rehab following a stroke, the response was: "Wonderful! There is no better place for her anywhere". Truer words could not have been said. I am truly grateful for the way she was welcomed at Parkwood and the treatment and help she received there and as an outpatient through the CORP arrangement. When asked whether she would prefer to go back to Parkwood for continued rehab therapy or have home visits by therapists, the choice was clear: Back to Parkwood! She has now been discharged from therapy at CORP lasting almost 4 months and again I have to pay a tribute to Wendy, Kristen and the other "Miraclemakers" at that organization. Thanks to their efforts she has made what the Neurologist in an understatement called "a remarkable recovery". All I can say is THANK YOU!! Svend Williamsen
