I have sat with children . The children love when I'm there ok interact with them. When I see little ones and young ones in hospital it makes me want to give my life to help those kids.

Receptionist was horrible, the experiance with the doctors are great, but the administrative employees do not have the customer service for a childrens hospital. Please look into hiring younger employees, the old ladies are giving you a bad name.

Emergency room waiting 7 hours is unbeleivable with apendicitis

My 11month old daughter was having significant troubles breathing and so we took her to Children’s Emerg. We were triaged and despite a 5-6 hour wait, they took her in first as she her trachea was pulling from not being able to breath properly. The dr ordered a respiratory therapist to come and administer ventolin which was not effective. When the dr came back in she told my wife that our daughter was fine and to stop the puffers (including ventolin) that had previously been prescribed her as the were not working anyways. Later that night our daughter was turning blue/purple. After seeing another dr and going to another hospital for tests, she was diagnosed with RSV. Their direction and lack of care and attention put our baby at SIGNIFICANT risk. I have made the trip to Sick Kids in Toronto previously for my son and I would not hesitate to make the trip there again or McMaster if time allows. 2 weeks later, our daughter is doing better but is still on steroids and spiking fevers. We plan on filing a formal complaint against the hospital.

We just had our first baby and on our third day being home we had a big scare. The team at Children’s Hospital is amazing! Our baby was born there and came back here for a night of observation on her third day. Both departments were exceptional in looking after us. Somebody was with us all the time and they provided us with everything we possibly needed. It really made me appreciate our medical system and I will never take it for granted again. In fact I promised them that when I’m older and retire I will come back and volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House.

Complete lack of communication between doctors and families. PMDU is usually running late. If your child needs sedation for an MRI, you better go to Sickkids in Toronto or McMaster Children's Hospital in Hamilton. Neurosurgery doesn't explain children's conditions very well and won't explain why they won't do surgery. I don't reccomend Children's Hospital at LHSC

The doctors and nurses here are fantastic. From delivering early to them trying their best to save our son, it was non stop caring from everyone here. Although we lost our son, and held him together while he took his last breath, they really tried their best and we at least had a week before we had to say goodbye. Nurse Becky was phenomenal and did everything she could, we were able to have our parents in to say goodbye. Everyone here was caring and nice, they go out of their way for you. It was the worst experience of my life but the care these people show is great and I appreciate everything they've done for us. I am looking forward to donating and helping anyway I can

My daughters last breaths were given to her here. The staff were fantastic. The facility was everything we needed at the time. A very kind janitor led me to the pastor (Peter if I'm correct-a canoist) who i desperately needed. The florist was wonderful. During a time of such immeasurable chaos & grief i was/am so gratful to everyone involved. One suggestion- I was airlifted from northern ON. I was in skimpy pjs with slippers and no wallet money ID-i had nothing & it was Feb... No one mentioned to me that I would not have any help getting home & once my Daughter was dead I was no longer able to get any help. Only the kindness of complete strangers got me dressed, fed, paid for my medication & transported the 1200km home.

Everyone has been very nice and very helpful, doctors seem on Top of the birthing center ensuring to get answers as soon as possible. Would very much recommend london for labour & delivery as well as high risk OB's. Antenatal (4th floor) has been great, private rooms also.

Every person we dealt with were friendly and helpful! No one wants to go or be in a hospital for any reason with their child, but at least they made the time as pleasant as could be for kids and parents. :)

My child was born in this hospital and my experience was amazing. This past week, we, unfortunately, had to return for care in regards to our child. That being said, the nursing staff were so kind and helpful, evening locating a phone charger for us when our phones died. A huge shout out to those looking after us: M, J and L. Our son was brought toys to play with and S in ultrasound helped prevent unnecessary surgery. The surgical team/doctors kept us up to date on treatment and comfortable during our stay. Hands down, this hospital is FANTASTIC. When you go into a business and they ask if you'd like to make a donation, PLEASE DO IT! It's money well spent. This team truly deserves it. Thank you everyone. Your kindness during a scary time will never be forgotten. ♥️

Complete disregard for their patients my son has been here for hours upon hours and there are patients with extremely minor injuries that where in and out in under an hour and a half but he comes in with serious pain in his back and breathing issues and he is left for hours and hours with nothing then when i go to see what's going on there are groups of nurses surrounding a computer playing games and looking up dresses how professional total lack of regard for patients
