I'm really surprised with the negative reviews on the doctor's in there. I'm going to this clinic from 2016 and I never had an issue with the doctors. The receptionist might need a bit more training in customer service. In general results,the clinic is clean, efficient and inviting. Dr Budai is the best on my opinion.
They've been very considerate. I make appointments online before going it. That works best. Then you don't have long waits. The Doctors are fantastic. The staff is considerate.
Reception: I will give 0 star if I could. A short lady with glasses was not proper as receptionist! NO smile at all, NO eyes contact when talking with patients. It was a joke assigning her in that position. Dr. Philip Lloyd-Jones: NEVER be his patient, if english is not your 1st language. He's kind of racists if you asking him to repeat his question. Even though he is an elderly man with a low, trembling voice. He failed to control his temper. When he checked my 2yo daughter, he was coughing without cover in front of her face. It was another joke for a doctor professions, which they should help people, yet instead intimidating people.
These people should not be Dr. and do not represent the medical profession in any way. They are charging $100 of dollars for a simple note, these people are unprofessional, mean, and I wish them all to be fired from their positions. Joke of a clinic, you will be misdiagnosis, you will be used and abused, you will be changed astronomical illegal prices. They deserve NO RESPECT.
Worst experience ever. I had an appointment for 9:35 and they assisted me at 10:40. Such a long wait (with appointment). Receptionist are so unprofessional 3 people who came after me got assisted before me. They don’t value your time at all.
Never had an issue with the doctors here. Have been coming for several years now. Clinic Drs. Always helpful when in a pinch. Place is clean, staff polite and professional.
I had the worst experience ever, the doctor who attended me Dr. Balint Budai did not provide me with an ideal diagnosis. The doctor’s behaviour was too casual. I came in with a stomach issue, which was a prolong issue that I have been facing, instead the faculty there said they don’t know what’s wrong with me and I should just wait for the GI specialist to attend to me. They left me more worried than I was before. Also told me to take medication without any specification of how long I should be taking or what doses I should be consuming. Worst doctor ever. Will never ever go back again
Booked an appointment 1 day in advance and they were able to see me- in, seen by doctor and out in fifteen minutes. Got everything I needed and nice doctor. Thanks!
Dr. Lloyd-Jones is extremely rude, stand off-ish, and doesn’t care about patient needs. He completely ridiculed my opinions, when it’s my own health I’m concerned about. I expressed how I have depression, and certain medications effect that.. and he continued to be demeaning, laughed, and called it “bull”. He was extremely disgusting to me over the phone with his attitude. The second we got off the phone for our consultation, I began crying so hard because of how little this “doctor” made me feel. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS IF YOURE LOOKING FOR MEDICAL ADVICE!!!
This clinic is great. The office uses modern technology. The waiting area is large and open with lots of seating. Love the convenience of booking a same day appointment online and provides up to the minute availability times. I recommend for all the 1 and 2 star ratings, to call ahead or go online to the website and book an appointment. You are only taking a gamble by walking in and expecting to see a doctor immediately. What do you expect? It’s a walk-in clinic and there is tons of other people doing the same thing you are, that’s why the wait can be so long some days. You are not the only person out there wanting to get in to see a doctor. Keep this in mind the next time you need to see a doctor whether it be at South Van Med or any other walk-in clinic.
Went in on March 10 for a knee injury, Doctor didn't even examine it. Asked me a few questions and asked what I thought it was. Told me it probably just needs to heal. I told him I was concerned my ACL surgery may have been compromised and I can't walk without crutches, should'nt I have an MRI to know what is wrong, he said fine Ok, now, 4 months later I call the MRI centre and they tell me there has not been any requisitions. So bad. Half my year wasted by an uncaring, unprofessional Doctor.
A long wait and generally unhelpful staff. Booking an appointment doesn't matter. You still wait hours to see a doctor.
I had a long wait and very unhelpful doctor that wants to leave right away, didn't even help me at all in any cost. be aware of Dr. Wang.
Been there couple of times. Doctors are good however there’s significant wait time 20-35 minutes even if you have scheduled an appointment beforehand.
Super quick help from the front staff for a condition that developed in the past 24 hours. Easy time booking an appointment on the site. Reception had me in and out quickly. Dr Wang was efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Let me know my options and talked me through my concerns. Explained it in a way that made sense. Good experience overall, in and out in about 15 mins!
I went to get check up as well as medical record to see if I can safely get back to work. The Doctor didn't even tried to check me up for even a blood pressure. Even was charge 30 dollars for a piece of paper that I was not even checked up on. Very unhappy!
Thank you Dr. Budai, Kathy, and the nice receptionist who I didn't grab the name of for helping me today. :) Everyone was super friendly and was quick to assist even though they were obviously very busy at the clinic. They also have a very efficient booking system online and there was virtually no wait-time for the whole visit. Thanks again guys!
Great clinic and the wait times for just dropping in range for 10-60 minutes. If I book an appointment wait times never exceed 10 mins. Great Doctors here so I don’t go anywhere else. Waiting is a fact of life, read a book, play some games lol
Evey time I go the wait times are horrendous even though I had appointments booked. They are trying to squeeze every visit in 10 mins, which is obviously not working. Greedy practice which results in poor service.
This large modern clinic has a lot of doctors rotating and is well staffed. There is also a website where patients can book an appointment (however once a patient arrives for the booking there still is an inordinate wait time - therefore the 2 star rating). It is best to call ahead and see if the clinic is busy and forego booking in advance. This is a very convenient location within Superstore. Plenty of surface parking and bus service accessible.
I have gone here a few times in the past and sometimes the wait can be long but the doctors are usually good and you can book appointments online. Well after my experience yesterday I won't be coming back. I was turned away due to having a sore throat even though I had tested negative, which fine I understand and they said the doctor would call. Well I had just gotten home and I just missed the call. I tried calling back but they don't accept phone calls, only emails. So I emailed them multiple times yesterday and now it's the next day and I still haven't received a response. What terrible service, what clinic doesn't accept phone calls??? This is a joke of a system. I have since found another clinic and WILL NOT BE RETURNING to this one. I urge you to go elsewhere.
I've always had a great experience here. Yes sometimes you have to wait a little bit but that is just the nature of clinics nowadays. The staff have been great and i have been very pleased with the doctors. I recommend this clinic specifically to family and friends.

I've been a patient for 2 years and never had a problem until now. They have hired a new secretary who is completely and utterly disrespectful. I called to book an appointment because I am unable to book online. When she picked up, I told her I wanted to book an appointment. She told me in a very rude tone to go book on online. When I told her my reasoning for having to book over the phone she said fine but I have to put you on hold. She then put me on hold then pick the phone up right away. In a irritated attitude she "I told you to stay on hold why did you call back". I was confused because I was on hold and before I could tell her she put me back on hold. After 30 minutes of waiting patiently I decided to actually call back. By this time she was very aggravated and said fine I'll book you an appointment. when we were discussing the times she asked me to hurry up and because there are four people in line in front . I simply asked her what times are was available after 3 p.m. she gave me a time that was too late and I asked her what was the earliest time between the two and that's when she snapped at me.
My family doctor is really knowledgeable, even though I have to wait more than I probably should. Plus, the massage therapist is great, all at the same place. Location is convenient and parking is free.
Don't bother to go there, they won't respect your time or the oppintment you made. They will let you sit there for around an hour waiting for your turn. I would give them zero stars if that was possible.
Had a phone consultation. Never received a call or any warning. I could have made other plans. They are strict with their cancelation policy, but you know punctuality works both ways. Only heard good things about Dr. BUDAI, I hope he opens his own clinic one day and set a good example how Healthcare should be. No wonder more and more people are distrustful against the health industry, because of clinics like these. No standards, no respect or any care for the poor people. Healthcare was and always will be for the rich. Us have to deal with incompetent health care providers like these. Hopefully Change comes soon, until then the ill and senior population will suffer.
These guys are great. It was fast and the staff and doctor were friendly and professional. Nice waiting area. Online booking was simple and got an appointment the same day.
I love their working hours (also weekends) and online booking system and there are so many doctors that someone is available all the time. I have been there for back pain, ankle pain, allergies and others and the doctors have always empathised and treated with medication that gave me relief. I see Dr. Hafez and Dr. Lloyd-Jones. I once saw Dr. Budai. They are all great. I love the convenience of it being next to a Superstore.
I would NEVER recommend this clinic to anyone. Going to the clinic isn’t something I like doing to begin with. Now with the new reception staff that has been hired it is absolutely intolerable. I’ll begin with my experience today. I’m running a very high fever due to eating a peanut which I am very allergic to. Early this morning I booked a 2:30 appointment. Around 2 I get ready to leave and realize my car won’t start. In a scramble I go online and see that I am unable to switch my appointment time. No problem! Next I call in. I try to explain my situation and nicely ask if I can change my appointment to the later 6:30 time I see STILL available. She doesn’t listen to a word I say and responds with “cancellations are to be made 6 hours prior to an appointment please go online and book for another day” I re explain that I need to come in today and there are still times available. She tells me “someone else will take that appointment and I should just come another day” feeling very frustrated I hung up. This may not seem like the biggest concern when it comes to a doctors office but I feel like your reception staff are the first impression your customers see. To have people that are so impersonal and rude turns me off. There has been multiple times that I have sat in the waiting room and listened to one receptionist in particular (an Asian women, sorry I am unsure of her name. Possibly “Winnie”?) 1) speak down to your customers coming in 2) turned people away because they didn’t use the online service 3) complained about her job with a room FULL of patients. As a patient myself that has just sat and been quiet. I feel like it’s finally time to voice how I feel. Clearly by reading through the other comments I’m not the only one that has had AWFUL customer service at this location. Sad because a few of your doctors are very nice and knowledgeable. if it wasn’t made to feel like I was a waste of time I would continue going here. Unfortunately when I called back to voice my concerns I was told to write them on a piece of paper and bring it in as she is very busy. Ill be happily finding a new clinic.
This place is a scam and a business. All the doctor cares about is money. They have no interest in helping people and making people's lives better. They have no ethical concerns for helping patients or in performing their oath as a doctor to help people. We came here at 1:45 pm on a Sunday and the doctor said he would not see us for 5 minutes so we could get a prescription for antibiotics because the doctor wanted to go home at 2 pm. The doctor did not want to spend 5 minutes of their time to help us and give medicine. These doctors think they are God and turn away people in need. These doctors are scammers and only care about money. All they do is make $100 an hour or more from the government and then spend that money on buying real-estate in Vancouver and jacking up the prices. That's all these bloks do, buy real-estate as a doctor.
I saw Dr Hafez, nice person, very new doctor. He wanted me to jump through to many hoops.( the new way of thinking ) I am in a wheelchair and don't have the energy to go through more testing. That's why I have a specialist, I don't feel it necessary to do more than have him talk to my specalist . I won't see him again. I need a more experienced Dr. He is more suited for people who are healthier in my opinion.

I asked three people to help me since the tablet would not take my heath care #. Three staff would not even look at me, to acknowledge I was asking them a question. In a waiting room that was not busy. Worst medical & non medical service I have ever had. Because there was NO service or acknowledgement that a person was asking them a basic & simple question, that should be simple and basic for them to answer. This office should be closed so they can train staff in basic human decency.
Went to the clinic for a hurt ankle and Dr. Ronak has been nothing but accommodating, cheerful, and extremely nice to me. He sent me instructions on how to strengthen my ankle once it started to heal up and was very attentive towards how much pain I was feeling. I feel confident recommending that if you're having a difficult time recovering from a physical injury then Dr. Ronak in physiotherapy will a good help for you.
This is an excellent clinic if you need to see a physician as a walk in. Even if you're a walk in (not seeing a family doctor) you can book online which is very convenient and decreases the wait time when you arrive (in my experience). I have had excellent experiences with the majority of physicians I have seen there. Clinic is very clean and on top of the superstore. So, if you do arrive on a busy day and they alert you it will be a while, to be seen, you can do some grocery shopping while you wait if you're well enough :)
The doctors are nice but the wait time is a little long. Waited 45 min. even with a pre-booked appointment. If the clinic isn't able to keep up with the rate of appointments, then they shouldn't schedule them so close in timing.
I cannot give any stars to this medical clinic but this review site wont let you post a review without giving a star. The physicians and clerks at the clinic overbook to compensate for cancellations and this is unethical. The clinic indicates on its website that appointments can be scheduled on-line and walk-in patients are welcomed. But what the doctors and clerks working at the clinic neglect to tell you is that they take in walk-in patients to compensate for any "no show" patients who scheduled on-line. Expect to wait if you are a walk-in patient. I was told I had to wait an hour and that there were two others ahead of me but I waited for three hours, and people who showed up two hours after me went to see the doctor before me. At least eight others went ahead of me. So when I asked for clarification, I was told again there were still two others ahead of me. This didn't make any sense. I then realized the clerk meant there were two other walk-in patients before me and until there isn't any no show of patients who scheduled appointments on-line then only will the walk-in patients see the doctor. I checked my hunch with the clerk, and I was correct. The clerk became nervous thinking I would report them and informed another clerk that I discovered the reason for the long wait and overbooking. This clerk became hostile towards me. I wasn't about to engage and give her exactly what she wanted. She wanted a reaction. The more I ignored her the more she became nervous and hostile. A very disturbing experience. Eventually, I was called to see the doctor and she was rude, impolite and obnoxious. She asked me for the purpose of the visit and I only said two words before being cut off by her. I then asked her if she was going to allow me finish speaking so that she can make a better assessment. She changed her tone.
Easy to book doctor appointment online and you can choose (2) either one doctor on duty. Ample parking in superstore. Efficient service. Very good for walk in clinic
Ronak is fantastic. He help me understand where my issues are and the tools he is using. I feel like my back pain has lessened a lot. The staff are always friendly. I am very happy to be visiting this clinic. Thanks
I’ve been going to this clinic to years and I still like it. I get my allergy shot so I’ve been here quite often. The online appointments are easy to make, and they do their best. I also like the majority of the doctors here.

I wanted to get my refill for my puffer cuz I have that’s all I wanted the girl at the front desk didn’t know much eveeytime I asked her something like do u know when the doctor will call me back her response was not sure I don’t know and the doctor never called me back just emailed me asking the same questions
Booked an appointment at 2am the day I dropped by and the met the doctor basically immediately at 12:35. Dr. Eric Wang is really professional, and the urine test result takes no more than 5 minutes to get the result. Definitely will come here next time.
It was quick!! I had appointment at 12.20 and I was out by 12.35. Plus booking online is so easy and convenient
needed to see a doctor and my family doctor was unavailable so I came to this clinic because it was close to my house. The clinic was very clean, the receptionist who was an older lady I dealt with may need to work on her people skills but I wasn't there to see her. even though , they offer the ability to make an appointment I just walked in and didn't have long to wait I would say maybe 25 minutes but that may vary because those who make appointments do take priority which is understandable. The doctor who saw me Doctor Wang was very impressionable and was able to help me the best he could considering the circumstances. I would definitely visit again if I needed to.
The Doctors here will ignore you prescribe pills only that you have to pay for then when you need surgery they let it wait and you lose years of your life. Physio here is American and does not have Canadian Values. He like money. $$$ not people. This clinic is the equivalent of a high school nurse. If you have other options choose them this clinic is full of doctors that abuse the system so they can get paid kickbacks. I had serious medical conditions that were ignored here till i saw a proper doctor.
DOREEN tells patients that they are not allowed to ask the doctor questions during a PAP exam. DOREEN also orders patients to disrobe in front of her or the doctor will not see them. Presumably, this is because she messed up the schedule and the doctor was running nearly an hour late. I am a certified Medical Office Administrator and am aware of proper doctor-patient protocol. DOREEN is going to bring legal trouble to this office if she is not fired. She was calmly asked to stop harassing the patient in the examination room and refused. DOREEN continued to harass the patient and insist that the patient not ask the doctor any questions during the impending PAP. PAP tests can be difficult, sensitive or intimidating for some young women, who will naturally have questions or concerns for the doctor. The doctor later confirmed that it is totally acceptable to ask questions or bring up concerns about the PAP, and that patients do not have to disrobe in front of office staff. DOREEN needs to be removed from this office ASAP.
Suspected I had a stomach virus so I made an appointment online to see a doctor the same day. The white lady with glasses and brown hair always greets me with a smile when I come in and checks me in seamlessly. Out of the three times I've gone, I've only had to wait 30 mins over my appointment (I was supposed to see a specific doctor, but I'm guessing the one filling in was a little behind schedule). He was very apologetic but did not rush me and took the time to hear my concerns. PS. I've seen a different doctor every time I've visited, and all of them have been great. Thank you to the reception team + team of doctors!
Called me 3 minutes before our appointment time to tell me they had switched my daughter’s in-person appointment to a phone appointment and to not come into the office. The reason - she has a sore throat (her only symptom) and they won’t see her in clinic with that symptom even though it was not one of the symptoms listed on their website as requiring a phone appointment. I was already there in the parking lot and ended up having a phone “appointment” while in my car. The doctor (Dr Hafez) could do absolutely nothing to help my daughter (although I can guarantee he charged the government for that “appointment”) and told me if I wanted her seen in person I’d have to take her to Children’s Hospital. He also offered to prescribe antibiotics to her over the phone without any physical exam to see if she actually needed them which is a horrible and potentially dangerous practice. Will NEVER book with this joke of a clinic again and will be filing a formal complaint against this doctor for his dangerous practices.
I have very good experience when ever I go there. I am always happy after my appointment . They don't rush and talk to me very nicely. Few weeks ago I had an appointment with the Dr. Budai , I got big help from him . He is such a nice and care person who solve my problem which I was struggling almost for two month. He also talked to the specialist doctor. He didn't give up. I was surprised the way he was helping me. Thanks Dr budai. Also Mr. Singh is very nice too. He is very care person too. Almost 10 years ago I went to superstore clinic , Dr. Lee Jeffrey helped me lot , I had so many health issue. He send me for some test and referral to the specialist Doctors. We want more doctors like them. Again Thanks to all.
I made a appointment and went in right at the correct time. The receptionist was very nice and #Dr. #Kilian, if I remember correctly was great. She took time to listen to me and didn't rush me out. This was my first visit there and I'm satisfied and happy with the Dr. And clinic. Thanks ????
Very poor customer service. I called the clinic around 6:15PM on 21 August. Apparently, someone called our home at 4:39 PM and left a voicemail asking me to call back their office. I was put on hold for a long time so I decided to end the call and called back again (thinking that the person forgot about me). I am not sure if the person I spoke to this time, was the same person who put me on hold. She was rude and impatient. She originally asked me to write down details about an appointment I was set for, but when I asked her to repeat some of the details she decided to end our conversation abruptly and asked me to just go to their office. Seems like she was lazy and had a knack of annoying customers.
Very bad customer service... i went to for son and he had low iron level . I was told to book an appointment so i called and they told me that they wont book an appointment over the phone and i was told to book it online. So i made an online account but there was an error in my son's name so i tried to edit it and it wont let me edit even it was my account. So i called them they said to email them with the details. I did email them with details and its been more than 2 weeks the name has not been updated. And my son has not seen a doctor yet. Very careless and not responsible. I mean who dont book an appointment over the phone.
Do NOT see Dr. Lloyed Jones! He is an extremely rude old doctor and treated us with crudity. About half a year ago I booked a phone consultation with him for my Grandma's prescription refill. Since my grandma couldn't speak English, I was there helping to translate. First of all, the audio quality over the extension system was terrible so I could hardly understand his hoarse voice. When I asked him to repeat his question, guess what, he just replied with "I just told you!" He also refused to refill one of the drugs saying that my grandma does not have proper examination result, although I had said that she did one in another country which her family doctor, unavailable on that day, accepts. Regardless, his also used coarse language in front of me including saying we and the other doctor are "ridiculous". When we went to the appointed pharmacy to pick up the rest of the drugs, the staff there could not see any of the drugs being prescribed. The pharmacy sent this clinic an email and there was never a reply.
Needed a driver medical and they took care of it. Best price(if you pay online). My actual family doctor wouldn’t bother with doing one for me.
I love this clinic! I'm really surprised by the negative reviews. The receptionists are so kind and caring and the online booking is super convenient. I've seen three different doctors here, two were really amazing (especially Dr Wang, he's the best doctor I've ever had) and one was okay (he wasn't bad, just an older doctor who I could tell was a bit old fashioned/not the best listener). I recommend this clinic highly and want to thank their staff and doctors for all their amazing work.

I hadn't received any call for my results and the doctor said to call after 4 weeks. So I did. The first receptionist couldn't find my results... she put me on hold for 10mins and then a new receptionist came on the phone who was extremely rude!!! She also didnt tell me if she had found my results instead she kept playing mind games with me. I understand that you all may deal with annoying clients everyday. But what about those that are genuinely polite... your front desk staff need extra training. It has never been smooth with them. The doctors I have seen have all been great. However due to the final straw this evening with the receptionist staff I will be asking for my file and moving to a different clinic.
Doctor is ancient. Staff is unfriendly. No website and no updates on google maps so you don’t even know what their procedure is like. Place feels like it’s stuck in time. Avoid if possible.
