I have seen first hand some of the work they have done to help others. The only complaint I have is against the ridiculous protesters across the way protesting abortion on the side of the road. Do they really think this will get them anywhere with their point of view? Not likely!

My Dad is in Grandriver Terrace 4 and I have had nothing but heartache with the people.that work there. His room is always dirty. I was in the other day and the girl just finished cleaning and there was empty pudding containers still in the corner of the room. It's just not a good place and I can't wait for my father to be moved from there.I hate going there to visit him.

i want to thank Shawna who did my mammogram and Tracy who was my ultrasound tech, on March 12th, they were both wonderful! they both were kind and took the time to explain the procedures to me and i am extremely grateful for this. i would have given the review a 5 based on their professionalism and their gentleness . unfortunately Dr Venkatesh who did the biopsy was horrible. he was rude, and abusive to his team. argumentative and would not follow the directions of those guiding him, i think it's because of his not following their guidance with the procedure that i have a hand sized purple and very painful bruise that continues to spread after 5 days. my recommendation to this dr is to not be embarrassed at being instructed as to the location of the mass (he missed it several times) and also not to argue with your team while doing procedures, instead perhaps work with them for the patients benefit. there truly was no reason for his behaviour. again, thank you to Tracy and Shawna!

$14 for 2 hours of parking...what a complete rip-off. There is absolutely nothing worse than hospital parking, talk about taking advantage of people when the have no choice. Should be ashamed! Next time I'll be parking down by the river.

The palliative unit really helped my grandmama in her final days. The staff were amazing and very caring and compassionate. I want to stay there too someday.

On behalf of the Rogers / Gray families I would just like to take this opportunity to thank the doctors, nurses, (PSW's), and staff who looked after my mother-in-law, Ruth Annabella Rogers. She received stellar care from the moment that she arrived until the moment of passing. In my opinion you went above and beyond.

Good physio but serious flaws. Patient call bell on 2nd floor is way too loud, constantly disturbing patients. Wifi service cost is appalling. Gouges patients and is unreliable.

Pain Management Centre is a major disappointment. I had such high hopes that I would get relief. I am truly devastated. Dr. Cook is indifferent to the patient - he only cares about the clinical/techie side of the job. Any input you have about the level of pain you are experiencing is of no concern to him. He should be working in a lab not with people.

Nurses can be nice but the neglect the patients receives it upsetting and appalling... The mental health wing is better then the rest & physio is pretty good.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was anxious about my appt today (April 1st), however I was pleasantly surprised! My experience was incredible:) My mammogram (wish I could remember her name) and ultrasound technician (Alyssa) were gentle and very kind, they made me feel so comfortable in a fairly uncomfortable situation. I ended up needing a biopsy, which was a bit scary, however the Doctor was also extremely kind, made me feel content and talked me through the whole procedure. Big thank you to everyone at Grand River Freeport Hospital!

Safe, helpful and friendly hospital.

The worst place that my son was at they really did nothin for him hear was told from day 1 he could only be there 2 weeks no matter what but they would have assistance and after care for him. This was a out and out lie the day he left there was no support for him whatsoever

The care extended by the Palliative Care Unit at Freeport Hospital was exceptional. I only had the opportunity to meet Helen and Monika and for only a short time but these two nurses made sure that Dad's pain management needs were provided for up until the end. Monika's knowledge and experience really came to the forefront during Dad's final hour. My sincere thanks to the Third Floor Palliative Care Team for your expression of care and compassion from January 18-25, 2020.

My Dad had stroke and I can't say enough about the great people at Freeport. Lori and Laura from physio really looked after my dad. Thanks so much

Location, Facility and Staff are.excellent. Thank you

My mother was in this hospital for almost over a month. I was absolutely disgusted with the care she received or I should say the care she did not receive! The nurses were rude the doctors were rarely around. My mother screamed in pain for 4 days & the nurses just kept telling wait till your appointment at grand river. I called the number above several times and my complaints were never responded to...until a nurse from grand river called on our behalf! The only good thing I can say is the physio therapy department was great with my mom. Oh and did I mention my mom was kept on the general rehab floor even though she was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. She has since passed away. If you have a loved one at this facility my suggestion is check on them very often cause believe me they will need you!

Rude lazy nurses with no concept of time.
