A necessary evil of having pets is that on occasion you will need a vet for something and these have proven time and time again to be a great place to take your pet when needed. Will continue to use there services and no others for as long as i own pets.

Awesome staff and top notch service. My pup loves going into the vet! They let you stop by to weigh your pet whenever which helps desensitize them to their place. Also they were so gentle when giving him his needles or meds.

The ladies at North Star vet go above and beyond their call of duty. My dog just recently got hit by a car. The whole staff was beyond amazing and willing to help with her after care and continually checking in and helping out any way they could. If I could suggest any vet I have dealt with in the kootenays North Star is the one. They don't make you feel like you are just another customer, they care a lot and it shows. Best Vet clinic around by far!!!

Probably the best vet I've ever had! The compassion and honesty that you recieve there is second to none. I had a late night emergency with my dog and the vet showed up promptly and was so kind and honest through the process. Once I had to put my dog down I received a set of paw prints and nose prints and a card in the mail. Was a great keepsake for my dog. I have never heard of this anywhere else but I love it. Would 20 out of 10 recommend to anyone.

Took dog in for something that has signs of being serious and they didn't even check her they just looked from across the room, no heart rate check or temperature, then we took the stuff home we were supposed to give her and the directions and amount we're completely different than what the serving amount printed on it was( 4 servings different). We normally go to the vet in Cranbrook (they were booked for awhile) and they do everything in a check up from heart rate and temperature to running hands over whole body to feel for anything and trim their nails while your there, for the same price for a check up I'd rather go where they are going to check up on my dog.

Family History

There are several reasons I travel from Cranbrook to Kimberley to take my little old dog to see a vet. Denise is the #1 reason...she is not only very knowledgeable...she is kind and honest...And I’m so blessed to have her tending to my little fellows needs..thank you Denise ...Smile

Took my pooch to Kathryn because I was worried about dental issues...after she'd checked her over, she felt the issue was pretty normal for her age (she's 14)....said although her teeth needed a bit of a clean, she didn't feel it necessary to knock a 14 year old out when her health could be an issue.....it's nice to get such honesty & not be all about the money....she is truly caring & compassionate, a lovely lady

I was so scared about my dog getting hurt by a deer and it was after hours! They were prompt and fast to be there xo. Expensive but they were loving and checked up on madon they next day! And the day after! Best place! Highly recommended
