Poor husband went there to just ask some questions about treatment for covid and was treated like trash. The tests keep showing positive but no symptoms for almost a month.He took all the precautions. He had his mask on, stayed his distance and everything. They told him to go away and that they didnt want him there. He just wanted to talk to the doctor but just got harrased instead by front desk. He went to urgent care across the street and they were so nice and patient.

Doctor/PCP/Reveptipnist makes appoints for doctor visits, specialist, Xrays & hospital services for Christus, SETX-JASPER. SUGGESTION: Arrive 15 minutes early. My wife was here for Xrays and she was called earlier than her appointment time which is often the occurrence. Very knowlegable, helpful, & very respectful with all people.

We ended up in the ER with my husband Monday his Dr sent him there after not getting over pneumonia he has... after catscan and MRI and lab work and the lot...he has fluid in his chest and around his heart and they found a mass in his kidney...we knew nothing about this...but even with all of this...both doctors and all of the nurses and technicians were all amazing..they took care of him in every little thing he needed they took the time to talk to us and answer any questions... the absolutely best visit I've ever had at christus and we were there almost 26 hours because he had to be transferred to Beaumont but they didn't have a bed .. so to have a very positive visit even with the circumstances...was greatly appreciated...????????????

went to jasper memorial er last night. I have Lupus and a whole slew of other health problems and i was in serious pain last night. I got there and he treaded me like I was a drug addict. He asked for my pain management dr number which I gave him the only number i had and they told him I hadn't been in office since march 2020. Everyone knows the reason why COVID. But failed to see on my chart that the last appointment i had was january 2021. And had another apt. In april but could not go because my cousin got Murdered. I had a evidence but he still treaded me wrong. I felt very discriminated against. I felt so low. I was already in pain and to have a dr. Make you feel like your lying with no compassion at all.. im not a drug addict I am a LUPUS warrior which I fight chronic pain daily. I didnt need another person making me feel worse. My dr doesn't want me to take nsaids. The reason is because I have Lupus anticoagulant disorder i felt so low dr. Joshua sahara was his name. I have never been treated like that at Jasper memorial at all until Last night I cried and cried

Worst experience ever. I took my son here after he fell off a swing. The wait time wasnt bad but the fact that they misdiagnosed my son with a sprain even after they did xrays and sent us home with nothing is what is bad. I brought my son to his pediatrician out of town and they sent him to have x rays (not done at christus jasper memorial) for a second time and you can see the hair line fracture plain as day. If i had lived in jasper my poor little boy would be suffering because of this hospital. This is a sorry excuse for a hospital and sorry excuse for doctors and nurses in general. If you have an emergency do NOT come here, drive a little ways to beaumont or lufkin.

I broke my arm on December 14th. It took 2hrs before we could have an x-ray. I say go at your on risk. Plus by the time I was out it was healed a little.

I wish I could give this hospital a zero star rating. Never in my life have I walked out of an Emergency room after an IV has been started and blood been drawn before. Also, I wasn't the only person walking out of their ER room at that time. It wasn't because they were busy either. The nurse was extremely rude. When she came in she did not even acknowledge me. She didn't introduce herself or tell me what she was going to do. I assumed she was from lab because the Dr said he was going to order some blood work. She verified she was going to draw blood but didn't say she was also going to start an IV. Finally I asked her who she was and she rudely told me she was my nurse but gave no name. This type of behavior continued throughout my visit. She was rude to my husband also. My husband and I decided to leave after being there for 2 hours and still no pain medicine for the extreme pain I was in. We decided to go to a hospital in a larger city. My husband went out and asked the nurse 2 times to come take my IV out but she refused to do it and just disappeared. So, I just walked out and headed out to the door. On the way out I was accosted by several nurses yelling at me that I couldn't leave with the IV in my hand and they were all rushing at me. It was very frightening. I've never experienced this type of rudeness and disrespectfulness at a hospital ER before. Just be aware before you decide to use this hospital that you may receive some very poor service and of course you will still be expected to pay.

I’m currently in here at 36 weeks and 4 days pregnant .. they gave me breathine to STOP MY LABOR !!! I’m at a 7 and they are talking about me going home... they said they won’t help progress my labor... ER triage lady is a douche ... horrible experience so far... if I’m released I will be headed to UTMB GALVESTON to be induced to finish labor per my doctors request. At a 7 there is NO GOING BACK !!! I was in labor naturally and dilated 6 cm on my own before the meds they gave me compromised that now I will have to finish labor with pitocin helping me along which calls for the pain to be 100X’s worse!!!! Thanks... but not thanks.. Update - I was released I went to UTMB and delivered my daughter at 9:47 pm the next day... she is healthy

My daughter has been waiting over an hour to be seen with a possible miscarriage. They came in to get a urine sample about 15 minutes ago after she went to the restroom. Its still sitting here. It They are having a great time out there visiting and laughing while people are in the rooms waiting. I guess they don't consider this an emergency. We went to Beaumont before and they said go to Jasper since its closer to our home. Now I remember why we don't come here.

This place needs shut down! Staff is rude I’ve had two family members die from not receiving proper care by them and being transferred too late. I would drive an hour to another hospital before I step foot in a place like this.

I would not take my worst enemy here , went here because My husband was having trouble breathing and vomiting , and I began to show signs of Covid and the staff first told me I had to wait in the car , then proceeded to tell my husband they don’t test for Covid but will manage his problems but he needed to go somewhere else because they couldn’t help , went to baptist Beaumont , guess what he is positive for Covid and this place turned him away , who the heck does that , your a hospital your Not legally allowed to turn people away who need medical attention . Attending ER physician last night 11-30-21 between 8-9 PM will be sued along with your facility if something happens to my daughter. Your facility almost killed her when she was 20 by turning her away from ER twice before refusing to leave on the third try. Dr. Spencer heard her and made them admit her. Turns out she was septic and would have died without help. Then your surgeon (Guiterrez) misread a scan saying her appendix had ruptured 3 DAYS PRIOR and rushed her in to surgery. Found out her appendix wasn't ruptured but by opening her up it caused the infection to attack her vital organs. I was told if I didnt find her a bed somewhere else she'd be dead by morning. We got her to Beaumont and she was coma induced in ICU for 2weeks before they could tell me there was hope at all. Now here we are again. I came to be with her in the ER last night and before I could get to her you had already dismissed her. She was falling apart in the parking lot because she knew something was wrong and no one would help her. Dr walked in asked if she had her covid shot...she said no and he said..well there you go and walked out. My grandmother retired from this hospital and that used to be a source v pride. I stopped her from initiating a lawsuit last time. This time I will be in it with both feet. You best pray nothing happens to her. He is a disgrace to his profession and to your facility. Sad to say there aren't enough words to express our frustration. The woman out front who checked her in and out was beautiful in her actions and compassion for my daughter...but that's the only good thing I can say about our experience. Shameful.

This place was empty when I checked in with 102° degree fever..they let everyone who walked in the fkn door go see a god Damn doctor...by the way I ended up having a deadly contagious virus with lots of sick elderly people and children sitting around me...when someone dies from letting me just sit here and me passing my germs that's karma

I was seen here on Sunday. As soon as I walked in I signed a paper at the desk and was sent straight back by vitals. I was able to go right into a room from there. Less than 10 minutes later i was in ultrasound. Everyone I dealt with was extremely nice. Many times I've found that doctors and nurses have lost their bedside manor. They listened very well to my problems and did the best to fix it for me. I will choose this over tyler county hospital or the ones in bmt in the future. Also they called to check on me today and see how I was and to let me know to come back if I needed too.

To hell with this place and the rude staff... mostly just all of the receptionists. But then again if I was the lowest paid employee, I'd have a bit of an attitude too. Bottom line, the extra 40 mins to Beaumont is worth any pain you my be experiencing.

This hospital was very upsetting with my baby we went in with 104 fever and baby shaking all over from high fever and pain during urination we had to wait an hr to be scene remind you we was the only ones in there we get to the back they take her temp (104.5) They give her motrin which i had been doing say it's a cold send us home no test no nothing! We get to the pedi they find out she has strept dehydrated and blood in her urine. Thank God i didn't listen to the dr for a common cold! Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!! Would give zero stars if i were able to

Had a scheduled surgery this morning and have nothing but good things to say. From doctor, anasteologist, surgery nurse, and floor nurses. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. The hospital is very clean. I used to be 1 of the ones who would of given 1 star but things have changed and for the better. Haven't had to use ER thankfully but no complaints on other side of hospital.

I took my wife to the emergency room there. After two hours they still had not checked her nor even given her a wrist band. We asked how long it might be and they told us they had people in hallways in beds. None of these people were visible. We said we were leaving and suddenly they found a room. We did not stay. Now, March, 2019, they have billed us for $95 but were kind enough to give us a $57.56 adjustment. No nurse or doctor ever approached my wife. They did nothing. The billing department claims that they provided services because they took my wife's insurance information. They were very clear that they have not billed her insurance. Does this hospital make money by charging people for walking in the door? At least they try to do that. This is a rip off, pure and simple.

DR Nicolas Ellis emergency Dr on call when I was having a heart attack refused to transfer me to Beaumont hospital even though he said it was life threatening if I didnt go because i refused a covid test. Today I went there for a heartcath they required no covid test. My life was not as important as the covid test I guess.

Went there because I had fell and hurt my foot. I went in two rooms, triage and exray. I was put back in the waiting room a nurse (I assume) came and said that it was foot pain and that they would be bringing my discharge papers. A few minutes later I was discharged with foot pain. Never was seen by a doctor, but you can guarantee that my insurance will get a bill from them. I just wonder when they started doing the Patch Adams way. Well I know that I will not be going back. I may die before I get to Lufkin but I know if I don't at least I will be put in a room and will be seen by a doctor. Would not recommend this hospital to anyone. I wouldn't even give it one star, that's how bad it was. You can't post unless you rate them. It shouldn't be that way.

Worst care I have ever gotten went in there because I was passing out as I was trying to tell the guy what was going on he was chasing flies around and slapping them as I was leaving the only nice nurse that was in there apologized for the way they handle things in the back if I could give them a negative rating I would there not one star Worthy

For 45 minutes my mother took her monitor off because she was in so much pain but no one would come and talk to us. So currently still waiting for someone to come in to see why my mom's vitals are not showing on and why this monitor is beeping bright red. Basically she could of been in this room and just died with all these monitor going and not one person has stepped in and seen what's wrong. I am not happy with this hospital anymore they do not care at all, they want is to give you a bandaid or benadril and say go home. But some of the staff here are sweet and hopefully they find a better place to work for soon.

Do not take yourself or family here. Have a 6 year old kid and one week ago we took her to er. They said it was a cold and did nothing else. Today was her check up and she has bronchitis. How can you call yourself a family hospital when you cant do your job and check for problems causing a little kid to have a rough cough for a couple weeks. Worst ever and 6 months friend died because dump hospital staff gave family 2 medications they were allergic to. It was on record and they said sorry must have over looked it. If you care about family well being, go to lufkin or Beaumont.

I have tried repeatedly today to try and schedule a CAT scan with and without contrast and unfortunately As of 1:30 pm this afternoon I still have not been able to schedule. Your automated services are not working. I understand that the only way that you can schedule anything in radiology department in Jasper is to go through a Beaumont office well this doesn’t work for me.
