A beautifu hospice floor, staff, Lounge and care. My father spent his last days there and I'm so thankful he passed in such a caring hospital.

My family is so appreciative to the amazing staff on 3E for caring for my Mom so well during the last two-and-a-half months of our Rosie's life. Words can't express how grateful we are to these lovely, kind, compassion people. They treat their patients with grace and dignity, and they make it look easy. It takes a special kind of person to give such quality care, and St. Peter's has many of them.

Caution - We sent my folks to go down to St Peters with regards to a dizzy spell my mother had. After a 2.5 hour interview, both my parents walked out with a (mis)diagnosis of dementia and both had their licenses taken away. In discussing with my father - the Doc didn't tell him he was evaluating him and didn't let him finish his answers before cutting dad off with the next question. Now we have to go and get them re-evaluated -$800 each to get their licenses back. NO discussion with the family - no discussion with the GP, and no answer on her dizziness! - rediculous! The nursing staff were good with my mother for the most part but some were just ignorant. I think someone has signed something as they didn't listen to my mother when she was trying to tell them no more drugs as she wanted to gain control of herself at least for a short time I think but they just kept pumping it into her until she was sleeping 24/7. In general a terrible experience but some of the staff were really good with her and understanding.

Not enough gratitude can be expressed in my life time for what Cindy and the team here at St.Peters had done for my Aunt Judi, I pray one day that all nurses can be taught love and compassion in the many ways Cindy has shown to my Aunt in her time of need. Everything from making sure she has a new fan that Cindy PERSONALLY searched the hospital for to giving her a bath and cleaning her up and making sure she gets enough medication to soothe and ease her endless pain. If you ever find yourself here or with a loved one be sure to say hello to Cindy or ask for her shes phenomenal.

My Mom spent her last two years on 3 West. The staff and the facility is first class and her time there was a great and life extending experience. My gratitude to all the doctors, staff and volunteers.

Absolutely horrible care, bedside manner, spoke to one doctor who was so rude and claimed we waste their time because I’d like to see my loved one before they die. They don’t keep their word and won’t allow people to visit their loved ones here. Absolutely brutal. But don’t worry, if it’s only 48 hours until death, you can visit someone you love... if they happen to guess the right time frame. Brutal place. Horrible.

Nearly 6 months ago l lost my husband Kevin Walker....he was there for only 2 weeks....but l want to say thank you to all the nurses and staff and our wonderful doctor for giving him so much love and compassion....amazing care he was given...one day l hope to gather the strenght to return to 3 east to say in person how thankful l am to have such wonderful people around to help ease our broken hearts!....forever grateful for you all at St.Peters...Debra

Took me a couple of years to write this..My family and I did not have a good experience. We had to request that a couple of nurses stay out of my mother's room. My Aunt and Niece experienced roughness and ignorance and asked that the nurse never come back. They left her on the toilet for ages unable to get off herself..I know she was not happy to be there but when someone is dying it doesn't matter what mood she is in..compassion and kindness should always be there..some of those nurses should not be working with vulnerable people..hate to think what it would have been like if we weren't there all the time..such a bad experience..I try not to think about my poor mum and how it must have made her feel.

Floors are constantly being cleaned, nurses running all sorts of errands with kindness and compassion at a consistant pace. Feel good atmosphere with a beautifully furnished family room for all paitents as well as a living room and a kitchen for convience that my wife is staying in with my daughter.
