Never had issues with this place. Very fast. Doctor's actually take their time to do a good job, and they have extra doctor's on call incase it gets busier than expected. They have have all the equipment to deal with anything that isn't a life or death situation. Doctor's are very friendly and have no problems ordering extra tests. They will come check up on you while your waiting. To be honest, I have received better treatment here then I would at the emergency room. No matter what, urgent care, doctor's appointments, hospital visits, Saint Joseph's Health Care is the best medical treatment Hamilton has to offer

made a visit here today for some dental pain because my dentist is out of the country. i mentioned that to the doctor, Carys Massarella, who then asked exactly where my dentist was, but why does that matter what country she's in? Carys Massarella then "examined" me by shining a light in my eye and looked at my throat. I had gone to urgent care because of nausea, vomiting, chills, headache on the left side only, a bit of swelling on the left side of my face, extreme agitation. my left eye cannot open any wider than it is now. Carys then proceeded to tell me i have no sign of cerebral infection 100% for only being with me and examining me for only 5 MINUTES. and then i was discharged. i waited 5 hours to barely be examined by Carys Massarella.

This urgent care has taken care of me every single time i go there. Ive seen how the doctors work together during a patient emergency and the team work is a 10/10. I feel respected by the staff, nurses, and especially the doctors. They are quick efficient and really listen to you. The diagnostics is smooth process as well. ! This is the place I go to when i am sick or injured. For sure.

Got there at 8:07 AM for an ear issue, and left at around 9:50 AM. Not too bad.

Rollz Royce

I've always had a great experience here.

Literally the worst. Been there 3 times for an ultrasound and each time they make me wait so long that ultrasound ends before I'm seen, wasted 30 dollars in parking fees and gas driving down. If you dont have a cough or a boo boo dont even bother.

review date: october 6, 2021 customer service date: september 2008 and august 20, 2021, december 20, 2021 photo add-on's: december 20, 2021 seeing that there are many negative reviews, while a medical center is definitely not the place to be, and while there can be miserable patients and medical staff...on my visits to east end urgent care, i can honestly say that i have had positive experiences. back in september 2008 i had a torn meniscus and back at that time the medical staff did a good job diagnosing and assessing my situation. most recently, i had to visit due to having shingles back on august 20, 2021. factoring in covid protocols, and a very busy facility, i was triaged, assessed and out the door within 1.5 hrs which was pretty reasonable. that said, i would like to thank dr. alex hart (and the nurses, support staff) for his fair assessment, and for helping me cope with this unfortunate situation. i did heal up after 5 weeks which was in the range of 3-5 weeks as he predicted. while i would prefer to not get sick/hurt, i hope that if i need to visit east end urgent care in the future, that i will continue to have positive treatment experiences. in the meantime i am grateful for the hard working staff at east end urgent care, that dedicate themselves to helping the public get better from sickness. ????

Best health care providers in Hamilton if not most places. Super fast to get in and seen. Within 2 hours I was in, treated and out. The staff are awesome people.Everyone I encountered was so kind and helpful. The doc I saw was fantastic. I always try to go here if I need urgent care. Every time I have been here has been great. I wish we had a place like this in the Niagara Region. I drive out of my way to go here because of this. Thank you to the staff, you guys rock!

Nurse on a power trip. I go to pay for parking after dropping my husband off and now she won't let me in! Meanwhile there are multiple couples in together. Wasted 10$ to be told I can't come in. No signs anywhere either. Total bs.

Unfortunately there is no 0 star option. Prey to God that you don't need ti be at this place...

This place is unbelievable. How they call themselves "the best doctors in Canada", I don't know. I'm so angry. They did NOTHING. I went in today because my doctor ordered me to go to Urgent Care, because I've been dealing with constant severe headaches, head pressure, neck pain and stiffness, persistent deep ear pain, jaw pain and tooth pain, shooting pain up the entire left side of my face, vertigo, nausea, and extremely swollen, rock-hard lymph nodes, for a week. My doctor was worried my double ear infection (I've been on antibiotics for 6 days) may have spread to my brain and told me to go to Urgent Care immediately, and provided a signed letter requesting urgent blood tests and x-ray. So I went at 6:30-7pm. I didn't get called until like 9:50pm (better than the usual 8hrs I've had to wait in there), triage said my blood pressure and pulse were very high, told me to wait in another area. It's now past 10pm, the hospital's closed, there's still at least a dozen people who haven't been seen yet alongside me. A nurse called me and did a visual acuity test, and then I waited another 20 minutes for an ENT to call me, who looked in only one ear, poked my teeth on one side, said my ear looked fine, "go home and take more Tylenol", and rushed out of the room. I was in the room for less than 60 seconds. Excuse me? "Go home and take more Tylenol"?? That's how you treat a patient who's had severe head pain for a week? What happened to the blood tests? What happened to the x-ray? Why wasn't my head or neck checked at all?? What about the high blood pressure? I was never put in a curtained room, I was in two waiting room areas the whole time and I was never checked for anything. I was sent home. I went home in the same severe pain I went in with. All the lights were off, all nurses were gone, and there were still people left unseen in the waiting room. On top of that, the ticket machines weren't working, we had to call for assistance at the exit and the guy we spoke to was ignorant and was yelling at us. $10 parking to sit in a waiting room for 4 hours and then be sent home without seeing a doctor, and without any tests or treatment.

Timothy Wilkinson

Professional, organized, and efficient. Went in for an x-ray to confirm if I had broken my foot and was in and out in a couple hours.

Jeanne Darrach

Every staff member was polite and easy to talk to. The doctor gave me the prescription I needed. I was in and out in 3 hours. Not bad for a busy urgent care center.

rafie golestani

Paying so much tax but getting nothing , takes 5 hours waiting to x ray 5 years old boy with broken foot this government should start thinking about this problem.

Dave n melissa Ivanore

Very slow only one doctor works it seems and a lot of staff just stand around

Andrea K

Second visit here. Despite a very busy weeknight, my son's broken finger was handled within 3 hours, incl. local painkiller, x-ray before and after, cast, refferal to plastic surgeon, note for course excemption. I would go back here and I will, especialy after bad experiences at walk-ins.

Syl

Arrived at 8am when they opened. 2 1/2 later I still have not seen a doctor. They are very slow. Good thing I am not dying and just have a lung issue. Do not mention any previous conditions. Just what you are there for.

Jacqueline Fuzion

Most disorganized mess of a hospital. I was told by the Dr that my father had to be accompanied by someone to the surgical otherwise he would be refused. Then given attitude when showing up to do so even though that is the same way it was done the first time. The receptionist at the surgical centre is rude, unfriendly and unsympathetic. She should not be dealing with the public and should be removed from her position immediately. Not only was she rude to my mother the first surgery but she was snippy and rude to me as well. This is uncalled for during an already stressful time. Management needs to make changes on how they treat their seniors who need help when already easily confused. You cannot expect them to be able to handle it alone.

Joe B

EMERGENCY ROOM - Investigation needs to be done on how staff are prioritizing which patient to see next (the Emergency Severity Index - ESI at this hospital is questionable). Came with a patient with severe PMS pains in an ambulance (talking about bile vomiting, hyper ventilation, weak from vomiting for the past 3 days, insane abdomen pain)....she was mourning in pain for hours and almost lying on the hospital floors AND you would see patients (who were talking on the phones and reading newspapers) getting seen before us and leave.......just amazing to see how the prioritization is left to receiving staff's discretion. Last but not the least, IF YOU ARE A BLACK PERSON GOING TO EMERGENCY ROOM AT THIS HOSPITAL, WEAR SPY CAMERAS OR VOICE RECORDER (HOPEFULLY YOU WILL GET THE EVIDENCE WHICH I LACK TO SUPPORT MY REVIEW HERE).....TRUST ME, THERE IS A LOT OF QUESTIONABLE ATTITUDE AND TREATMENT HERE POINTING TO RACIAL BIAS!! (The staff were speaking to us like we were bothering them, no matter what we asked and could hear the laughter behind our backs!! FYI - We stayed at the hospital for approximately 10 hours to be able to see the doctor and get prescribed (NOTE: WE CAME IN AN AMBULANCE)

Love this place. Great Doctors.

Vlogging Random

Decent staff, horrible wait time. There's never more than one doctor for some strange reason even when it's super busy

Kyle Lusk

Garbage facility . SLOW SLOW SLOW . terrible doctors . I'll save you the trip . Go somewhere else

Chantal La Duke

Great staff. In & out quickly (1h45min) for an urgent care centre. Highly recommend. Was in a curtained area and heard staff caring for sick kids and a man with chest pains they sent on to cardiac department at hospital by ambulance. Like all urgent / emergent departments though there were lots of grown adult complainers with colds, sore throats, and ear infections who felt they should have been first... so take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. Under two hours on a winter Sunday midday is more than commendable.

My kids has to do a Covid test, pre booked the appointments, the nurse who did it was extremely rush and rough. While in the room she did not confirm names of kids or dob. It has been 3 days and no results!

Tania Hernandez aka Miss Tania Lou

I just did cataract surgery today, and I must say that I had a great team of doctors, nurses and staff ensuring I got the best care. They were very professional, friendly and even in the surgery room, Dr. Fava put on one of my recorded songs! I forgot I was doing surgery! Just made my day! Thanks Dr. Fava, Dr. Blue, nurses Michelle, Julianna, Francine, and all the others whose names I can't remember but remembered your kindness. You all put me at ease. I can now go into the next surgery with confidence and feeling assured that I am in good hands. I listened to how they spoke with other patients, and their responses showed patient care is important. The young gentleman who did the covid screening followed protocols, and I loved how he was friendly, yet professional towards the patients and visitors. You please keep him on! He is awesome! Thanks St. Joes!

Attentive and caring staff. Those complaining about the wait time don’t seem to understand how triage works — it’s not about who gets there first, it’s about who NEEDS care first. Your sore finger or cold symptoms will always come in second to anyone with a heart or respiratory issue.

Been at the ER for two hours and no one had moved yet. Feels like there is no value of life. It's really poor health care system. They keep on calling random numbers. But there are no rooms available. A nurse just told me that there is a new doctor so the line up will move fast. However I waited from 11 and it's now 3pm my wife still haveing chest pain and yet no one had looked after her. Who will take the liability if her condition will get worst?

One Love

I've been here many times and treated horribly everytime but on one occasion where I was in a traumatic amount of pain (worse than my natural labour with zero epidural)(by choice)with a tooth root ache with two nerve endings into my brain with no health insurance or money to go to a dentist so the hospital was my only option One of the nurses came up to me a single mother with a baby (with zero support) and told me my crying is disturbing the other patients when really it was just bothering him. They treated me like I was worthless and like I was a drug addict looking for pain meds; let me tell u I have never tried drugs in my life but I guess that's what happens when you get a bunch of real drug addicts who get into nursing or health care jobs so that they can help them selves with there "secret" drug addiction into the health INDUSTRY. We need to start drug testing NURSES, psws, police and EMS. BUT ON THAT NOTE I DID END UP GETTING SEEN BY THE DOCTOR AFTER HOURS OF CRYING AND MOANING WITH MY BABY THERE AND THEY GAVE ME A SEDATIVE NEEDLE INTO MY GUM WHICH CAUSES ME TO GET A INFECTION IN MY GUMS THE NEXT DAY WHICH MADE IT WORSE THE SEDATIVE WAS SUPPOSED TO LAST 8 HOURS TRY 30 MINUTES THATS THE AMOUNT OF PAIN I WAS IN. I ended up going to a dentist thanks to a close friend willing to help me after seeing what my face looked like the next day after the SEDATIVE and the dentist gave me morphine for the pain and a root canal oral surgery because of the nerve endings ($$) Not only that I was there again yesterday for a infection of a heat rash and the doctor saw me after seeing every single person before me which I was there before anyone she was super loud and did not respect my privacy but she said she would be back with the cream she prescribed me hydrocortisone cream 1 % 100 mg she said she would give me. After 15 minutes of waiting a nurse came back with a paper which was a prescription paper and told me to go upstairs where they have a pharmacy (she had a smile on her face to pretend to be nice but sarcasm in her voice) and when I went upstairs the pharmacist said this was an over the counter medication no prescription needed and was laughing I said why would they prescribe me this SMH She said I dont know... this was a huge waste of my time as a matter of fact even the ems treated me poorly when i couldn't move from the amount of pain i was in from the tooth infection and the infection was worse after the SEDATIVE I was given caused my gum to blow up where the needle was inserted. The ems told me to calm down and do I need to go to the west 5th hospital (the mental institution) I have never been treated worse by people who are supposed to help the suffering they could care less if you died in there care because that's what I felt like.. hamilton st. Joe's is the worst hospital in all of canada i would say and the only good one is the west 5th for mental patients because that's where they are investing all of there money due to the pollution in the city of hamilton which is causing people to get mentally sick. We need to boycott st. Joe's into actually helping everyone in all needs of care not just the mental health. They do not care about there patients go to another hospital your better off.

Terrible experience. I waited 3 hours with a number and they forgot to call me in to my room. I have a back problem and they didn't provide me with a bed as requested. They sent me home with no help or information to help my problem.

I regret that I never left this review when I had a review letter sent to me after my time at this hospital. I was still to sick to bother. I actually had gone 3 or 4 times for the same issue and was sent home with antibiotics each time with no further proper investigation. I had to beg to have an ultrasound on my uterus because I was scared something was really wrong which there was. They gave me one but what gets me is they should have viewed my urinary tract not my uterus. They should have know this They clearly saw that I had a bad uti or so they thought and should have viewed that location since thats where my symptoms were coming from. They gave me a run around I know this now since I have educated myself on the topic since I got so sick. It turned out that I ended up with severe fever and chills and ended up in emergency (luckily at the General this time which was Wayyyy better experience) I had a kidney stone that was stuck and had caused a blockage. My kidneys are now damaged when I had gone in 4 times to this hospital and was sent home without getting it removed. you need to remove a kidney stone promptly to prevent damage especially a large one that created a blockage with severe infection. My health issues that I will have for life now could have been prevented. The doctor I had the 4th time was very rude and seemed like he hated his job. He was dismissive and disrespectful. He was not thorough and did not listen to me when I told him I was in so much pain. I would not have ended up in emergency with a severe infection if this was dealt with the 1st time. Very disappointed. the only way I would go there again is if I had no other choice and it was an emergency! The admissions lady was rude aswell. the only good thing I can say was that the nurse was amazing and she should have been the one in charge atleast she had manners!

Dr. Stanley Moyo

Facilities are modern and up to standard. The medical staff I have interacted with at this centre have all been courteous. I must mention that although most of the staff here are excellent I have met two doctors that showed me extremely negative attitude for reasons best known to them! These two surely don't belong here and need further training on handling patients of all kinds.

Sunil Maheshwari

Getting excellent health care.

PD Clinic: - Extremely friendly - Always checking in - Quicky to answer question but takes time to confirm you've understood what's been said - Never made a life altering mistake - Team effort 100% - Covid respectful: entrance needs work. Suggestion, hands off policy would be a better approach to COVID. - Overall, I'm extremely pleased to be cared for by this better half of St. Joesph's Healthcare. - Blood clinic does NOT take outside forms for your information and they have taken up to 60mins to go through 6 patients including myself. Used to be quicker, however just before the virus this began to become more and more of a problem. - As for urgent care, only visit, let me leave with an IV in my arm so I can go to St. Joesph's on Charlton.

Came in and.the nurses were very professional and caring. One of them could see I was having a hard time (because of my pain) with directions and walked me to the room and got me a warm blanket. Doctor came in and presented me all my options and worked with me to try and find a solution.

My mother was in an accident and was quite banged up. She's an anxious patient and had a bad experience at an ER after the accident that made her leave without being seen. We finally convinced her to go to st Joe's urgent care and her care couldn't have been better. The nurses and Dr were fantastic and from triage to examination, x-rays etc she was well taken care of.

I've been here several times over the years. From ear infections , broen bones, work injuries etc. Yes sometimes the attitudes are not top notch . My experience has always been decent. I get the care I need. People need to realize that the nurses and doctors we have are people too. They have stresses just like we do. They have been overworked these past two years. Let's give them a break and appreciate what they do for us.

manisha badhan

I was so sick, they make me wait 7 hours for no reason and gave me no medicine, I came out with more sickness later in the day.! Doctors were very rude and no one wanted to reply me when I went on counter to ask for how long the wait will be.!

I had the utmost best care when I had a serious eye infection that almost left me blind. They got me the medication I needed within 24 hrs. In 48 hrs i would have been blind. It took me 8 pharmacies to find the drops but I am forever grateful for St joe's telling me what it was i had. The follow up for 5 days at this hospital was so appreciative. I haven't had any issues since this bad eye infection and I was told I might get it back every 5-10 yrs. (It has been 12 yrs and I haven't seen its return) Thank you St. Joe's.

Mary S

My 10 month old baby needed to get an x-Ray because I was worried she swallowed something. There wasn’t enough people working, so I was told I had to hold my baby down while the x-Ray was being captured. The x-Ray technician (red-headed White woman with shoulder length hair, short stature and wiry) was repeatedly yelling at me to hold my baby still while my baby was maniacally crying and the tech actually physically grabbed my hands to put on my baby the “right” way. Excuse me? I am not trained to restrain a crying baby while they get an x-Ray. Especially as a first time mom worried about her child at a healthcare facility that should be compassionate, the way I was treated was inexcusable. After the x-Ray was done, I nursed my baby and I cried alone in that x-Ray room. It was a traumatizing experience. That bully needs to be fired and should not be working with humans, especially when the people that come there are in a vulnerable state. Shameful.

Girlfriend waited over 6 hours to see a dr when she was vomiting blood. Then was talked down to by the Doctor. Unbelievable. This is the worst place to be treated for any emergency. They would probably rather see you die to save themselves the hassle of filling out paperwork.

Went in with a possible kidney/UT infection. Pretty reasonable claim given my history of kidney stones. I simply wanted an ultrasound so I asked if this could be done. DR JONATHAN SHERBINO proceeded to verbally berate me in front of hospital patients and staff and tell me that nothing is wrong with me. When I simply questioned this and mentioned that he himself had noticed there was blood in my urine sample and that this was a red flag, he talked down to me and did not allow me to ask very simple questions. He then dismissed me and refused any ultrasound or any other solution. Went to another doctor and within days I was diagnosed with a UT infection JUST LIKE I THOUGHT. I have never encountered such an incompotent fool in my life. If you care about your well-being at all, do not visit this urgent care facility or DR JONATHAN SHERBINO.

I took my parents yesterday with cough and sore throat, both older than 70. You think that with what is going around and the high risk for seniors to get pneumonia they would see them faster. The doctor, I wish I had her name kept on trying to work on her new computer instead of seeing patients. The nurses kept on walking back and forth for hours and nobody was seeing people. We waited from 6 to 2 am and ended up leaving as nothing was happening. Awful service!!! I wished we had a way to set up a formal complaint

My son had an allergic reaction at home, we noticed swelling around the face and hard time breathing. We immediatly brought him to St joes and when we took our number to go sit in the waiting area. My wife asked if there is any we can give my son who we think is having an allergic reaction. The nurse looked at my son and immediately took us in. the doctors and nurse staff were very affectionate towards my son and us. Thankyou to them and their hard work that they do.They did not cut any corners in the treatment and observation on my son. We then got transfered to Macmaster Hospital where the staff there was very caring. We didn't get to say thankyou cause there was so much going on. I remember the one name of the staff member "Meagan" thankyou, and the thankyou to The doctors and Nurses who worked on my son. My son is doing lot better now....Keep up the wonderful work you all do.

If I could give 0 star or less review I would. horrible wait time extremely slow staff that all talk to each other instead of helping patients. One man was waiting 7 hours for a form that when he mentioned it the staff said "oh sorry we forgot " and handed it to him. my boyfriend waiting in severe pain from a nerve problem waiting 5 hours with people with extremely minor conditions ( one got slapped at school, no bruises or pain, etc..) ahead of him. Got food from vending machine was already opend and stale was sent to 5 different staff to get money back never got money back and all said " oh I can't help you go to ..." needless to say, don't waste your time .

It's rare I write a review but this was by far the best urgent care I have ever received. All staff were pleasant and attentive. Facility was modern and clean. Best doctor I have ever met, and they all went way above and beyond what I could ever expect. I've waited 2 hours in the waiting room and now that I have gotten to a bed I have waited another 2 hours with people who have come in after me getting taken before me this wait is insane I do not understand how under staffed they are as they need to hire more staff....the doctors and the nurses stand around talking and help a person every 15 min. The wait is insane. I could go to medical school and become a doctor and treat myself faster than I will be treated now. They do not understand people can not wait hours upon hours because they have other responsibilities and a life.

Horrible. Told him I have had stomach pains in lower abdomen with pain going through my sides and down my legs for a month felt my stomach and said we will set u up with an ultrasound then left. Sadly another poor experience with this clinic. My daughter was brought in 48 hours ago with the webbing between her toes severely cut. The Dr. glued her toes together and said that was all she could do. 48 hours later we are now at MAC emergency with the laceration completely open, no glue left and we have just come from X-ray because her toes appear to be broken. After explaining our story to multiple nurses and then the Doctors caring for my daughter, they have looked shocked at the treatment we have received from St. Joesephs. We recently moved back to Ancaster and tried this urgent care centre again, however when our kids were younger we had three very negative experiences around wound care and improper treatment. We will NOT be visiting this clinic again. If you or your children have an open laceration, based on our experience do not use this urgent care clinic. Go straight to MAC or the Hospital. Even if it is a late hour when we bring our children to you for the help we can’t provide. Please care for them to the best of your knowledge and ability.

Urgent care is not following the proper protocols for patients with covid!! I was seated in a hallway across an “isolation room ” for 1.5 hours, waiting to get examined; during that time, a patient kept walking in, and out of the room pushing an IV stand and without a mask(the door was open the whole time) staff doctor then arrived and violating patient confidentiality yell from the outside of the room “ we got your results back, and like I said before you just have corona,” “ stay hydrated and take Tylenol.” Nurses walking by the room never said anything to the patient regarding isolation protocols or ensuring other patients' safety.

Laura Cran

Waited for 5 hours to be seen, which is fine, long waits are to be expected. What is not fine is seeing a doctor for a matter of minutes and then given a wild guess diagnoses without any testing. Then being told to "Google it" when asking follow up questions. I can look things up own my own just fine, but when I'm at a hospital facility I am there to seek the professional medical opinion of the staff. Very disappointed that the Doctor chose to rely on the patient doing their own research, rather than taking a few minutes to explain anything. It should be said, that the nursing staff was wonderful and very considerate. I have been to this location on several different occasions and have had some very wonderful experiences with other doctors.

The medical care is good. The food is absolutely disgusting. Be prepared to spend money to eat. The first thing you are told is to have your family bring you food as nutrition isn't considered in there.

My mom and I went in Halloween night. She had fractured her wrist and the whole process took less then 2.5 hours. For x-rays and cast. Our doctor had incredible bedside manner and all the staff were not only knowledgeable but also very kind. Posting while still waiting it’s been 5 long hours , to be seen by a doctor , it’s a joke. ...came here for Stomach pain...it’s shameful that there is no other option to see a doctor at this moment ...mother is waiting out side for 5hours ... I am waiting inside and looks like it will take couple of hours more ...Oh Canada health system !!!

Awful service, always understaffed and the receptionists and doctors are not nice at all. Been waiting for 2 hours now, maybe a handful of people here. Got put in a random seat, might have been forgotten about? Ear infection takes 2 minutes to diagnose, just give me my antibiotics and I'll be on my way

we have lived closed by to this hospital but never had the need the go in until this past Saturday the 2nd of July. my sister in law had such bad pain in her throat she couldnt speak, eat drink or even open her mouth. shes been to the ER twice the past week but we went to the downtown Hamilton location. she had been doing so bad we had to go asap so this location being closest took her there. mind you her last visit the dr gave her meds and told her if her condition doesnt get better to go to ER. supposedly a receptionist at this location knows more than the doctor. she ripped her registration / check in paper and told her to go home! No one and specifically not a receptionist has a right to decline treatment. thats is ILLEGAL. the service and treatment she got, she felt embarrassed to even be there. She was doing worse than the first two times so we admitted her to the downtown location. her condition was bad enough that she got 2 IV's, a steroid, antibiotics and had to even call a specialist from another location to assess her. they did a small surgical procedure to drain puss from her tonsils. If she had stayed home as per the receptionist her condition would have gotten much worse. i may be only one experience but the amount that we had to go through no one should. she hadnt eaten, drank water, leave alone talk and she gets sent home. You need medical care? a real hospital or specialists, or have an emergency DO NOT GO to this location. if her condition had escalaed or if it was too late to do much that would have been a law suit on this hospitals head. to whoever plans to go to this hospital may the power, strength and patience be with you.

I've now waited 3 hours and am still waiting to see a doctor.

I had a pleasant experience at this hospital. Dr. Trotter listened to my concerns and showed genuine interest in what I had to say. I've almost never had such caring experience from a doctor. The nurse that was assigned to me was equally great, checking on me and ensuring I was comfortable. The wait time wasn't terrible at all. I've waited longer hours in the ER before and I appreciate their effort to keep patient's info confidential. Unlike the hospital in St Catharines where they start screaming your name and personal data from the gate.

Went in with my daughter last night and I can't believe how incredibly awesome they were. Not only was she treated in a timely manner, the staff there were exceptionally nice and knowledgeable. From the triage nurse, registration, doctor to lab technician, they treated her with respect and took her illness seriously. I would recommend this urgent care clinic to everyone. I would have given them more stars if I could. Best care I have EVER experienced. Kudos to the amazing staff!

In general good doctors, nurses are awesome I rated this healthcare many times Five stars will go to the chief medical doctor Five stars will go to patient relations person I spoke to Five stars for some of the awesome nurses and doctors And three stars for the okay ones that were just doing their job but can improve And two and one for those who totally need improvement It depends on who you get so hard to rate just once!

Dr Buchanan and nurse Melissa took great care of my health issue. They were very kind, efficient, and professional. All the staff were so pleasant. Thank-you!

Absolutely awful wait times and the staff is terrible... Been here for 4 hours already and the only person to come in was a nurse 2 hours ago who tossed a gown at my hubby didn't bother telling him why and no one has been back since. Not a single person has checked in on him who has complained of shortness of breath, they have failed to even check blood pressure or temp or if there have been any changes. The nurses are standing around gossiping so there is absolutely NO excuse! I cannot believe how terrible it is here it's absolutely disgusting. Do not bother coming here if you need any kind of help urgent or otherwise or you will be without the money they scam you out of for parking and you will end up with whatever virus is floating around

Megan In urgent care was awsome. Great bedside manners great care and communication. Couldn't say enough good things about her. She truly loves her job and it shows. Great job

Longest wait times. Expect to be there for at least 2 hours no matter the emergency. Always under staffed and seems unorganized

How is it possible for this place to be allowed to exist?? It is inhuman. After waiting an unbearably long seven hours to be seen, I encountered a doctor who would best be described as a cross between Mengele and Kevorkian. I staggered out sicker than I was when I walked in. I would take my chances at a medical facility in the jungles of a third world country before I ever set foot in in this heinous place again. Look at ALL THE HORRIBLE REVIEWS about this place - what a testament to the decripitude, incompetence, indifference and overall sorry state of this healthcare campus.

Use to be my favorite place to take my kids when sick. Tonight on the other hand was a complete joke. Dr. BRANDON TROTTER completely useless with my boys. Didn't listen to their breathing, had his opinion of what was wrong with out even looking at them. Everyone to him has just a viral thing going. Refusing to do a simple strep test on my boys but for a teenager who sounded fine is sent for xray and the whole works. Glad to see it closing if this is how they like to treat children born in this city now a days. Off to mcmaster from now on. Dr. Trotter...Google has more knowledge then you do and you should continue to go to school instead of telling patients that strep test is not needed nor real. Your a fairy tale story your self! Your degree probably came off the Internet. Thank you to the nurse who got me the number I needed to file a formal complaint.

There's a covid pandemic right now and there's an older nurse working in urgent care with a bad chest cough. This is ironic considering how much screening there is at hospitals right now and how they are very eager to detect if you have a cough or not. Someone who with that sort of a cough shouldn't be working.

I certainly cannot complain about the actual doctors and staff. However I think the “visitor”policy needs to be revised. I attended the clinic with my husband who had a follow up appointment for a surgery done 2 days ago. He is blind in one eye and has to walk with his head down for the recovery. The person at the door said that did not require any assistance! Hmmm … wonder how comfortable someone would be navigating a strange place in this condition? Appointment could take up to 90 minutes … we do not live locally so I am made to wait outside on one of the hottest days of the year … even though I have had both vaccines (last one over a month ago). Perhaps it’s time to change some of the procedures! I would have also appreciated hearing what the doctor had to say about his eyes prognosis.

I will never go here again! Doctor was horrible. I went there because of a rash and super strong pain in my foot that makes it hard to walk or even drive. He asked if I went in the woods which I said no. He then said it was poison ivy. I haven't been outside at all! It doesn't even look like that! Then he said oh your foot isn't urgent care without even looking at it. I was so mad I got up to leave. He then said wait dont you want your cream for the poison ivy. I said no I will go see a real doctor. Then he said wait do you want me to send you to physio. I yelled no and he said well I guess you dont want my help!. What help?

Don't come here for anything urgent. Waited more than 4 hours today and finally gave up. There weren't many people in the waiting room either. Not sure how many doctors were there and the staff didn't communicate with anyone or apologize for the wait. One man came in holding a cloth to his bleeding head...he gave up after 3 hours.

I went to this urgent care now 3 times. Twice this year and once years ago. I have never had a bad experience here. All the intake workers were great and doctor David Stanley was really great. I went last night at 9:15pm and I was in and out in just over an hour. I did not feel rushed whatsoever though and I felt like my visit was thorough. People seem to always Google review bad reviews so I wanted to add another positive review as I have always been content coming here. Thanks for the care!

They were kind enough to give my Daughter a bed to lay on because of severe pain in her neck Appreciated . it was around 2pm when we arrived there..now almost 7pm and still hasn't been seen by a MD...Extremely busy..nothing you can do but wait....If there had not been a bed available for my daughter it would have been excruciating for her Don't know when she will be seen could be 10pm for all we know.

Go in the morning. It’s quicker.

Yes there is often a long wait bit I have found the nurses and doctors to be very caring when I have needed their services. I also delivered one of my children here. St. Joe's allows for midwives. I had a wonderdul experience and felt well taken care of.
