REVIEWS OF Grande Prairie Primary Care Network After-Hours Clinic IN Grande Prairie

One of the medical assistants was a bit condescending and was very impatient. She dismissed me and my baby to sit back down even when she just called our names while my husband was struggling to gather the carseat and the rest of our stuff from our seats. When I told her what blood test I wanted done for my baby, she told me right away that they can't do it and it's only done in Edmonton so we have to go there. Unfortunately for her, I knew the test can be drawn here, so she eventually backed down. I recognized that the personnel should be treated with respect but this lady was so arrogant. I'm sorry to the other ladies who were very nice especially the lady in the front reception.

Just this past Monday I visited this after hours clinic for the first time. They had a very efficient system here and all the nurses were really nice. I was in there for a total of maybe 2 hours by the time I got there and left with a prescription in my hand. I seen Doctor Raphael Elemuo who was probably the most personable Doctor I have ever had. The only issues I encountered there was when I was in the room alone waiting to see the doctor I noticed another patients medical form and prescription sitting on the counter in the room which I know for a fact should not have been left in a place where another patient is not only able to see it but potentially steal it. I’m assuming that the patient accidentally left their paper in there and the staff didn’t notice it sitting on the counter when they located me to the room. Otherwise I would be happy to visit there again!

Well this morning I was going with my 3 kids and we tried to open the door and the old woman at the reception yelled on me to stay outside because she was registering a patient and from outside I couldn't see if she is done or not yet. so I waited until the patient opened the door and my 3 years old tried to go inside and she screamed again on my son and me to shut the door because the patient held the door so my son get inside fast before I got him outside until she calls us than she started to be even road asking me to fill up the paper outside and you have to wait 3 hours in the car until she calls me I wanted to know why she treated me this way if I am not in need iwill never wait but is Sunday every thing is close except hospital and this clinic .

If I could give it half a star I would. Absolutely the worst service without fail everytime. The lady behind the desk is beyond rude and unprofessional, the doctors seem to have no problem sending you on your way without help, and Have made some very unprofessional comments to put me and others I know down and make them feel less than. For a doctors clinic, and general resource to this community I will not support the horrible service they give.

Terrible place go to, older lady in there the pre nurse lady wasn't accepting my rapid test but front receptionist did, got asked bout vax, the Dr was really lazy didn't give me a diagnosis just gave me some pills. Definitely going be avoiding this place all together from now on

Says the after hours clinic is open till 10pm so I came as soon as I got off work at 8pm. The doors are locked and no one is answering the phone. Maybe a website update?

I came to get a medical examination for a professional drivers license. It took about 1.5-2 hours and $150 dollars. After being seen by a nurse who did some cursory work, I was told that I would be seen by “the doctor” shortly after. What really happened was I was put in a room, and someone entered who did not introduce themselves or their level of medical education. The reality was I was seen by a Nurse Practitioner. I wouldn’t have known if I didn’t see her level on the signed form. I feel that this is a collosal misrepresentation to any layperson, who may have easily believed she was a Physician. I shouldn’t have to ask who I am being seen by, and the difference in education between an NP and an MD in Canada is absolutely massive, typically well over 10 thousand hours of education difference. Not only this, but there was no physical examination. I was given the same eye exam that the license centre does, and a blood pressure, by the original nurse. The Nurse Practitioner never actually did anything but read a script off a sheet and sign a form. In summary, I was essentially lied to, and paid $150 dollars for my efforts. Extremely disappointed.

First time here and I had an amazing experience! Being a Saturday, I thought it would be very busy but I was in and out within the hour. The receptionist was lovely, the nurse was very professional and efficient and Dr Jomha made the whole experience very pleasant. I felt like all my concerns were addressed and the doctor took time to listen. I would highly recommend. Thank you PCN!

Absolute terrible experience from being asked to breast feed my baby outside to being then pushed back in line after already waiting 1.5 hrs. The unprofessionalism from the lady behind the front desk that not only I had encountered but also witnessed tonight was disgusting.

The customer service here is far below terrible! I highly suggest going anywhere else! All the staff are very rude all the time and definitely not helpful! If I could give 0 stars or a negative number for a review I would! The doctors dont know what they are doing and the assistant staff are even worse! Dont waste your time here!

Ken Nel

Just overall a bad experience. The doctors aren't very well organized along with the other staff within this facility. Nobody seems to have basic knowledge of how to do their jobs or to run this place. I've called and asked a question a couple times now and have repeatedly gotten different answers. I think some training is well over due for the baboons in this work space.
