Here you will see all the reviews of real people like you who consume the services and products of Queen's Family Health Team (Hospital) near to the territory of Gananoque (Canada).
As of day the firm receives a rating of 2.8 stars out of 5 and that score has been calculated on 39 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is discreet, neither too high nor too low, and it's founded on a very large number of opinions, so we may be pretty sure that the valuation is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to leave their feddback when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place tatings when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Hospital is classified in the category of Medical clinic.
Fast, reliable, and up to date. Doctors care. Especially with children.
Great with kids. If you are an adult with ongoing degenerative injuries that have cascading symptoms... find elsewhere. Dealing with a new resident every visit is frustrating and extremely exhausting to try and catch them up and by the time you get them up to date your appointment time is either over or they rush through neglecting the reason you came in.
This used to be a good clinic but, the constant changing of your doctor and making you an orphaned patient have changed all of that. Forget having any sort of relationship where your doctor knows you. That's gone. We have been "assigned" a new doctor five times in the last seven years. It was already a situation where you saw a different resident every time but, now on top of that you literally never see your own doctor. They SAY you are assigned one resident for their rotation but, you are not. I've seen a different doctor every time I go. Other than co ordinating appointments with specialists this is no different than a walk in clinic where you would expect to see a different doctor every single time. This leads to problems because if your doctor doesn't really know you then it can be hard to assess you. It's kind of demoralizing to go here because you're like cattle on a conveyor. The fact you can't choose your doctor let alone get to know them is in my opinion irritating at best and dangerous at worst. Unfortunately, in Kingston you can't leave here or you'll be left to walk ins only and if you need a specialist you aren't likely to see one unless you go to emerg. I'd like to leave this clinic and get an actual doctor that I can build rappour with of some sort but, I can't. Getting a doctor is a lottery, your name goes in and you get what you get. The family doctor situation in Kingston isn't a lot better than it used to be. Be aware if you are moving here from an nearby city and do not give up your doctor.
I've called and left 2 messages for the flu shot clinic for my son with a febrile seizure disorder and still no call with an appointment. Holding a clinic 1 day a week for 3 or 3 and half hrs isnt really appropriate considering we are dealing with covid within the community. Its not like this is new we have been dealing with covid for 7 months and the lack of preparation is very troubling.
I have not once had a single issues I’ve experienced been solved. Terrible doctors office and you never get to see the same doctor.
I agree with other posters - it is VERY hard to call in and make an appointment. They really need to revamp their appointment booking system or start picking up their phone. The doctors have always been good to me, although you do get a variety of different docs and interns.
Very friendly people and the nurses and receptionist are very knowledgeable and helpful in every visit I have which is at least once a month and the cleaning staff keeps it looking spotless which makes them waiting rooms much more enjoyable
Once you get in, the office and team are fine but good luck making an appointment. They don't ever answer their phone. Just tried calling, got put on hold then hung up on. Called back and got the same thing.
I was able to get a doctor with this clinic in a pinch as I'm new to the area, and they are great at following up with me for appointments. I never feel rushed through an appointment and there is plenty of time to bring up questions or concerns which is great with two young kids.
Great team at the clinic. However, the after hours clinic has the worst service, we were waiting 3hours to find out they forgot about us in the room and the doctor saw all other patients that came after us. The only reason the doctor saw us was that I went to the reception and asked.
Been with them for many years great experience always got to see my Dr when requested
Extremely nice people.
Everyone from the reception staff to the doctor's, nurses and residents have been kind, compassionate and helpful. I like that it is a teaching clinic and am always able to get in quickly for an appointment.
Our family doctor only cares about pregnant women and babies. It takes over 2 to 3 weeks to get appointments. Might as well go to urgent care.
I have been a QFHT patient for about 2 years now and I have an no issue with the doctors, nurses, and residents. I find their care is top notch and are on the forefront on new diagnoses. QFHT also has some great resources for new parents. I enjoy meeting new residents every year as they are on a rotation at the clinic. I am thankful to have a doctor!
Called to make a doctor's appointment, they told me who my doctor was and promptly hung up on me??
I love this place If we dont help and be patient with young Drs where will the experienced Drs of the future. .....come from... Yes its slow at times.. There will always be challenges in higher learning environments..The beautiful thing about freedom it gives a choice to go there ..or find another Dr....
You ask politely for 3 repeats on the 21 day starter pack of chantix you get a big 0. A child can hit 3 on a keyboard
This place is ridiculous...you have to re explain your whole life story every time you go even though you have a chart with history. You see an new doctor all the time and it is like auditioning for help. I have never felt so exhausted or punished when seeking medical attention ever in my life. The office assistants and nurses are the only worthwhile part. Don’t sign up here
This clinic is nothing more than a MEGA walk in clinic. Misdiagnosed that I had a heart attack when it was not so. Few months later had an appointment with the foot nurse I was late. and the receptionist had enough authority to turn me away when I had an infection on my foot, and a pre diabetic condition??? I was going to discuss my toe with the nurse but never had a chance. I had to go to another walk in clinic to obtain antibiotics. Just left this unorganized place can't do worst in another walk in clinic.
Quality of care @ QFHT seems to depend upon who happens to be your GP. No continuum of care thanks to patients being handed off to an endless revolving door of minimally-supervised, 1st yr residents whose diagnostic skills are abysmal. “Orphaned patients” is an accurate characterization. Despite being very proactive about my health, the clinic’s operating policies have contributed to a substantial (& preventable) decline in my health & the health of my family members who are also at this clinic. Find it very difficult to believe that there hasn’t been a complaint filed to CSPO or Ontario’s Patient Ombudsman.
Have been with them for years now and never see the actual doctor. And interns don’t listen to patients
1 out of 5 doctors here are competent.
The most irresponsible residents I have ever seen. The worst experience ever. Not recommended at all. I would not give them any star if applicable.
Rude staff
Absolutely horrible service! My infant daughter came down with a cold and we asked for an appointment. And we were told to test her for covid and we did and called them back. The receptionist confirmed the time for Friday, September 3rd. But when we got there, to our utter surprise we find out that we are booked for September the 17th! I mean have some common sense, for the love of god! What would I do with an appointment 2 weeks from now on? And what was the point of that covid test? Wouldn't that be void in two weeks? My baby can't sleep at night, will she have to go through this ordeal for the next two weeks? Or another covid test when the time comes? Not to mention my wife and I had to take time off work to make the appointment. This is a loss of both our times and for nothing. This is insane! Completely dissatisfied with the service! I would rate them a negative star if I could.
Better than a walk-in clinic, but still extremely long waiting times even when you come with an appointment. Their after-hours clinic is slightly more efficient - but only available to registered patients. Quality of medical care is variable, depending on the health care professional you get to see (mainly residents). Also if you don't like being videotaped during the consultation, avoid this place.
My husband and I have been patients since 2016 when we moved to Kingston. Our Family Doc is amazing and we find the entire team is very pleasant and efficient. We have had no issues at all, receive great care and would highly recommend to others.
NOT open 24 hrs, misleading!!!!!!
Was immediately categorized as having a drug dependency when I went in to get a rash on my arm checked out. My questions about the rash were ignored and My prescription for the creme was never sent! The rash has almost covered my arm now and Ive gotten no help whatsoever, i felt harassed and I felt my personal privacy being breached. When you think you can trust a doctor you never can especially at Queens family health team, the only people here who care about your health are the admin and nurses. Dr Laura Kroeker was my doctor during this visit.
No appointments available even if you are in pain.. tried the after hours clinic.. absolutely no help at all..very discouraging.. I felt like I was not important enough to deserve their help.. have been with queens fam health for a,few years and at first,it was amazing, but now, no use at all..
I want to say this place is an disappointment as I went there for help for depression asking for help even saying I was suffering with other issues etc to be told I'd be refferd asap to someone but yet I still waiting to be seen. They say one thing and do another. I really wish I could find a doctor elsewhere.
