Absolutely a horror place to go ..., First at Triangle part, this person ask you when you are sick and in pain, "What you bring here " "i am here to have fun" , no respect , customer service awful and these people gets paid to insult me. She thinks that she is talking to her a friend , they are all collected from somewhere who have no idea how to treat and respect to patients.. Then after waited for 4 hours , Doctor, who's name Farouk or whatever is ... He sound like interage me instead of asking me how i am doing , he did not bother to take an x-ray he was sending me home and i had fever , Where is the authorities ? these people get paid with my tax. and ... then not done yet, a nurse , whatever I had to asked her, only answer is "I don't "... and she cross the border and giving me lecture , saying that I should show my emphaty for other patient who took my line. Wake Up damn Goverment this place is a corrupted , smell bed. fire all these people and get right people who love to serve patient not just see them someone stop by for fun !!!!

I received great care from the entire staff (nurses, on call physicians and ultrasound staff). And despite having multiple tests, was through in about 3 hours flat. Made me feel safe and cared for.

I've changed my review from 1 star to 5 after the exceptional treatment the Triage nurse, X-ray tech and the on call Doctor provided my 3 year old daughter Sunday July 14th, 2019 at approx 9pm. Caring, thoughtful and sweet. I'm so glad the Triage nurse we had a couple yeara ago is no longer there. So thank you to all of you for an exceptional experience. I do want to add one thing. As we were leaving, around 11pm. A woman was shuffeling down the hallway, it appears she'd be brought in by ambulance. She walked in on her own, wrapped in a hospital blanket. And what happened next blew my mind. The security guard said to her "When is this going to stop, you need to stop crying wolf" I don't know who this guy thinks he is. But he is sure as heck not a doctor. Whether this woman is a regular hypochondriac or not. This minium wage paid renta cop had no right to say what he said. This is up to the nurses and doctors. This guy should be fired for this alone. He's there to protect the staff and patients, not to give his uneducated medical opinion and make patients feel uncomfortable,. No matter what their story is. I hope this is investigated.

Douglas Memorial Hospital used to be a full-service hospital but is mostly for Urgent Care and Palliative Care as I know it since we moved to Fort Erie in 2015. The Urgent Care service is served by visiting doctors and my husband and I have had good experiences with both doctors and nurses as we sought medical care and advice. I wish it was a full-service hospital again, save the citizens of Fort Erie from traveling the distance to the bigger hospitals.

Thank you to Ms. Macsai PTA and Ms. Van Dieten RPhT, physiotherapy department DMH who while on their lunch break at the parkway near Southside Restaurant, came to my aid. Without their intervention I do not know what I would have done until the ambulance arrived to stabilize my fractured femur before transporting me to the Greater Niagara Hospital. They are stellar representatives of the Douglas Memorial hospital and I cannot thank them enough.

I came in with a terrible Migraine, unsure of what an urgent care could offer over a traditional ER. I left feeling that they offer more. The staff were phenomenal! I was given different treatment options that were much more pleasant. The icing on the cake was how efficient they were and saw me in such a timely manor. I can not say enough good things about the staff and the facility.

So I go in with my son and I get told all the clinics are closed.We were looking for minor emerg care. I say I just need to see a doctor and the 2 rocket scientists at the door tell me the clinic is in the other building. I come back with my son and he goes in and again they tell him all the clinics are closed. He even told one of them who asked what he was there for he had signs of internal bleeding and he gets told the next clinic is Sunday. Really feel sorry for people in Fort Erie.

Excellent, quick treatment for severe dehydration brought on by complications from pneumonia. Was given hydration and i.v meds in a very timely manner. Please be aware hower, this is an urgent care facility and not a true Emergency Room. Grateful for their service.

Wait time for triage nurse is horrible... 4 people in line waiting to see her, she helps 2 people than walks away from her station without helping the rest

Needed to visit this hospital on our way back from a trip to the states. While the initial wait time was a little longer than I'd have wanted, once I finished intake through triage, the nurses and doctors saw and treated me within minutes, making this the most efficient trip to a hospital I've ever experienced. I am very thankful for this due to the level of pain I was experience. If any of the staff who assisted me on Sunday, January 21st at 9:30pm see this, I would like to sincerely thank you for your incredible assistance.

(Urgent Care) Let’s just say if you are injured and are in pain these people treat you like garbage and don’t give the proper care an injured individual deserves. Very unprofessional. Very Poor Customer Service. From now on I would rather drive out of town to a different hospital just to deal with nicer staff. This hospital is very disturbing with the way the staff treat their patients and it seems as if they are only there for the pay check. Very disappointed on the way this health care facility is ran. I’ve had nothing but horrible experiences with this hospital and will never return in the future.

I went here for the first time to see my aunt before she passed. Everyone in the office was an angel after 8 months of her passing I decided to go in and get my medical help here. Dr. Melanie Senichal is by far the BEST doctor in the world. I have never experienced such a compassionate caring doctor in the Niagara region. I will always look forward to living close by this hospital. Just to get her service. Dr. Melanie Senichal has a heart of gold and makes you feel comfortable no matter what the situation. I would a 100% reccomend Dr. Melanie Senichal for you. My experience with her today will forever stay in my heart. She made my process much faster and her heart is in the right place !!! I would ask for her if you come into this location.

I like most people dont like hospitals much but the Urgent care at Douglas Memorial was great Went there today with an infection and the nurses were wonderful and Dr Chan was amazing. He was thorough and sympathetic Thank you for the great care

Will never go here again. Was verbally attacked by the female security guard today because I wanted to ask the nurse at the nurses station for much longer we'd have to wait for the Dr to come see my 3 year old who needed medical attention. She yelled at me so aggressively nurses came running because they thought I had done something. The doctor and one nurse who had witnessed it all jist stood there and let the security guard verbally attack me and threaten to call the cops on me while my daughter stood there next to me. My daughter was so terrified because of the nurses and guard yelling at me all because I wanted to know the wait time. Completely disgusting behavior on all their parts.
