Came here for a rabies vaccination shots with my husband after an unlucky bat exposure in Canada. Even though I am not a resident of this county and the bat exposure occurred outside the county, everyone at this hospital treated me and my husband with respect and kindness. It was better here than in Canada. We were seen very promptly and every member of the staff took the time to explain every step of the process. I’ve mostly been to emergency rooms in California and once in Canada and this was one of my best experiences. Truly I’m very appreciative of everyone here and at the local county health department.

After going into the Er. They were very attentive as well as knowledgeable. Treatment was as I would like, thoroughly. Dr. Ed is the man. Very satisfied with my treatment.

Never go ECMC Emergency Room they judge you by your Emergency Basic. You won’t be treated as equally as everyone else. Just recommending to go to your primary doctor instead of the ECMC Emergency Room. People on the front desk are really rude and won’t understand anything what you are trying to tell them about why I came today and they don’t care about any of the patient and won’t listen to them what I was trying to say or get my point but they said because of the emergency Basic they treat everyone differently or make you delay so for example if you were to have what I had in my left leg they won’t treat you as if it was an emergency because they will just see it as it was Nothing and doesn’t need any attention to it. So I end up waiting about five hours and they still haven’t call my name so I end up leaving because of that. Also their main excuses are we are still waiting for a room to open for you to get checked up by a doctor.

ECMC should really vet their employees better. You might be lucky enough to get seen after a 3-5 hour wait, on a good day, but not without dealing with rude, incompetent front staff first. Kindness and empathy go a long way, and you probably won’t find it here.

Following suite with everyone else because they are right this hospital is a straight waste of space including everyone in it. You wait hours on end just to be discharged with nothing being fixed or taken care of! Listen just go to mercy at least they help you.

Horrific ...been waiting 6.5 hours so far with a dislocated jaw...3 guys hanging out drinking a bottle of booze...cops ignore ...nurses rude . Our tax dollars at work ...the entire time a min has been laying on the floor ...usless cops just walk by , do nothing . Finally got in a room ...it has been 2 full hour and not nurse or doctor has come in.... pathtic.

My mother got a broken collar bone. We sat in ER for 5 hours before a doctor saw her. Doctor came in and she went to get scanned. 3 more hours to get results. The doctor wasn't a specialist on the bone that broke so we needed to get another scan and another doctor to look at it. It's now 4:30am and we've been here since 6pm. My mother recieved pain meds and a sling so far... still waiting and watching nurses sit on their computers. I never recommend to come here. First and last time.

It’s appalling how rude front desk staff is in an EMERGENCY waiting room. You would think concern, empathy, and a little bedside manner would be a priority. All I got to experience was the rude young lady barking at people in crisis. Not one care in the world besides payment and covid. What a shame!! This is the medical industry 2021....rude c_nt!!
