My husband’s doctor ordered urgent blood work for him. Called to make an appointment but was told don’t need one if it’s urgent. Arrived just after 7 am and registered. Every other person kept getting called in so he questioned why he wasn’t. They told him everyone with appointments gets done first so it meant he had to wait until god knows how long to be done! Worse service ever! What is the point of a doctor ordering urgent blood work if you have to wait for hours to get it done! Will be putting a complaint in to Eastern Health!

Changed closing time to 2:45pm without altering any of their online information. Eastern health and Google still say 4:45pm, very inconvenient. A sign on the front door is not enough. ????

I attend the dermatology department, I must say everyone is very nice there, I have no complaints whatsoever. Very professional and understanding, are willing to work around your schedule if an appointment can't be attended. This is very helpful in my life where I don't have a vehicle and I have three children, life gets hectic sometimes. It's a distance to go for a very short appointment, but not complaining ????

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. My first and only visit was way too stressful. Once I got in I was waiting forever and the phlebotomist came in with an armload of vials all for me! Another staff pointed out that she was duplicating and even triplicating some! OMG! I LEFT! Never went back there since. I now pay $20 for collection at a local blood collection and it's perfect.

I scheduled an appointment for an STD test. When I showed up for the appointment I was made to wait in the waiting room. When I was asked to go up to the desk the woman working there said I needed a requisition from a doctor (for a simple blood test that is still by walk in most other places). Her exact words were "how can we know what kind of blood test you need done if we don't have a requisition?"... I don't know, maybe because I scheduled an appointment for a specific test.

The worst service by the most rude and ignorant woman I have met to date. Short blonde woman who I will not name but who I will most definitley be filing a complaint against. If you don't like your job lady, then stay home out of it. The world don't need people like you working in a service where friendliness and compassion should come natural!

Bloodwork usually makes me nervous, but the lab technician at this place was SO wonderful! The man who checked me in was polite and friendly, and the wait time was reasonable (about 15 minutes). But the woman, Debbie, who took my blood was just the best. I told her I was nervous with needles, and she was so empathetic and kind! Barely felt the needle, and it was over quickly. Really, really a good experience! Sad and surprised to read the other negative reviews!

Our health care is an absolute disgrace! I went to the Major's Path Blood Work Clinic recently to have URGENT blood work completed - I didn't have an appointment because my doctor requested to have it completed the same day I had my doctors appointment. The Eastern Health workers didn't even bother to look at my Requisition form which stated UGENT - TO BE DONE TODAY. I was told to book an appointment online which, if I did my appointment wouldn't be until April 21. An absolute joke and careless admin clerks!
