Only reason this is getting any stars is for the receptionists and nurses, but the doctors are a no go. My boyfriend and I went into the ER because I was in so much pain in my down stairs region, couldn't sit, stand or walk without pain. Went to ER because he is not from this part of Canada and I just recently moved so didn't have a family doctor. Went in, waited, which was fine. The nurse called us over (extremely sweet lady, so sweet and kind) made us feel completely at ease. We then waited for the doctor for him to come in, no bedside manner whatsoever, looked at my area, looked at my boyfriends and said "You have herpes", didn't take any swabs or tests to see if it actually was herpes. Made us take blood tests and urine tests to test for anything and everything. Because of his blunt manner and for abruptly taking away my boyfriend to go sign paper work, I was left with my own thoughts and panicking. Went back to us and repeated himself 2 or 3 times "These are the numbers to call when we find anything" we said yes. 2 - 3 weeks later we here nothing from the hospital. At this point I'm annoyed so I called them myself to get anything, the receptionist this time was giving me attitude saying I should see a family doctor for these kinds of things, then tells me everything came back negative. At this point I'm furious. I go to a clinic near me to find a doctor, got more lab work done to be safe and double check and yes I am completely clear of anything and all negative. My boyfriend had to spend money on medication for something he didnt have, we are now both dumbfounded on exactly what we even had because no doctor decided to check and just used his eyes for the diagnosis. Their name is Dr Warran, fairly well known in the ER for being a good doctor. If this is how he treats patients, he needs to go back to med school to be retaught how to properly diagnose people. As a doctor you do not diagnose people with just looking! Especially for more extreme serious cases!
