Such a bad and slow service need more staff to serve people in pain

My fiance is currently experiencing severe food poisoning and massive amounts of pain but has spent 5 hours in the emergency room with no indicator that they will take him any time in the future. Im not allowed to stay with him and make sure he's okay, though they haven't made any efforts to monitor his condition. Garbage emergency room. Our medical system is a joke.

Thank you for all the support and kindness that your emergency room team showed me when I was suicidal and really scared. You made me feel safe and that I was in good hands. I recommend those seeking emergency mental health support come here, or if you live too far away the grey nuns was also very kind and helpful to me when I was in a mental health crisis. I will never forget the experience I had here. I was treated with dignity and compassion and I am alive today because of the care I received here ❤

Absolutely the worst hospital in the city! The staff were rude, unprofessional, dehumanizing and above all disrespectful to elderly people who have no loved ones by their side! My father was lucky to have me and my mother there to help him but he was left alone he was treated like a homeless piece of dirt! People be ware do not allow any of your loved ones to go there! My father was on the 7th floor Room 710 for the past three days! This is a business establishment built on diagnosing your loved ones with many things none to be substantiated by any medical evidence! The more tests they run the more money they get! These people are Evil! And shame on you for treating the elderly like this! We are Canadians, we are taxpayers! We are humans!!!!

Went to the emergency for severe abdominal pain and was put in the mental health room because there was nothing available. I needed a nurse no one would answer the call bell so I made my way to the door to ask for my nurse and asked another nurse for help and she treated me horribly because I believe she thought I was in that room for mental health reasons. She was very rude and rolled her eyes at me, I am humiliated and cannot stop crying. I did not deserve to be treated that way nor does anyone else whether there for medical or mental health reasons. I will never return to that hospital and that young nurse should be reprimanded and for certain sent for training to learn compassion. To humiliate anyone seeking any type of help in an emergency department is not acceptable, if we cannot trust a nurse to be compassionate who can we trust.

Very bad service. Don’t want to give even one star. Emergency service is just joke. Was there for 12 hrs in emergency. Paying taxes but getting this kind of service. Don’t go to misericordia at least for emergency.

Have been waiting for more than 5 hours now. Asked for a single bottle of sanitizer for the waiting room that they call the extended area. And the the lady named Charity, same lady I shared the pain with what medical issues I'm going through (calling out names who don't behave like human) at the front gave an attitude, not a single word, nothing. Just picked up the bottle and left like seriously ! That extended area is for patients with covid symptoms. Not all patients in that waiting room are covid patients. You guys have sanitizer everywhere installed in the hospital except that room. Use some basic IQ and have some compassion towards the patients. You don't like your job or you don't feel like helping people in this sector then leave. Do not try to justify your negative actions and attitude because it's a pandemic going on. The entire world is dealing with it. I SIMPLY JUST ASKED A SANITIZER THATS ALL!!! Update 6 hours now. Several people working in ER, Few just chilling in between. We all work in between check the waiting time and atleast provide it to the patients. This hospital is seriously a JOKE!!!

I was at the hospital in November of 2020. It was the hight of a COVID surge, yet my condition was promptly addressed and diagnosed. Yes there were some delays which were expected considering the situation. I was proven free of COVID Ann admitted to a COVID free unit where I was effectively treated and released.

Nothing but a joke..... If anyone says go to the Misericordia, say no thanks !... I would rather die at home than see that emergency room again....

I had a wonderful time with Dr. Andersen's staff! Danielle was the best Nurse I've ever had in my life. She got my IV in absolutely effortlessly with zero digging around like she was looking for toys lost in a sandbox. Danielle had a great sense of humor and was awesome to joke around with, and overall got everything done quickly and efficiently. My Doctor Wyatt was a tough nut to crack but you can tell he's a solid guy, and definitely not dry. This is the first time I've had pneumonia and it's been a blast. Cheers, Ryan H
